Fenomena Thrifting di Pasar Loak Jembatan Item Jatinegara

Abstract: The phenomenon of thrifting at Pasar Loak Jembatan Item Jatinegara demonstrates the continuity and evolution of frugal shopping practices involving the purchase of second-hand items. This research delineates the long history… tory of thrifting, from the medieval period to the emergence of organizations such as Salvation Army and Goodwill that popularized it in the 19th century. The COVID-19 pandemic has reignited interest in thrifting due to economic pressures prompting people to save on expenses. The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive, utilizing in-depth interviews and direct observations at Pasar Loak Jembatan Item Jatinegara. The findings reveal that traders employ two main strategies: selling directly at the market and through online platforms. Meanwhile, consumers have diverse motivations, ranging from meeting household needs to a desire to collect unique and antique items. Analysis of Alfred Schutz’s phenomenological theory is used to understand the reasons and goals behind consumer’s choices in thrifting. The researcher finds that each individual has different motives, such as goal motives (In order to motive) and because motives (Because motive), underlying their decisions to engage in thrifting. The conclusion of this research is that the phenomenon of thrifting at Pasar Loak Jembatan Item Jatinegara reflects the evolving and relevant dynamics of consumer culture, adapting to social and economic changes. With the evolution of this practice, the second-hand market becomes a favorite place for people to find affordable items, while traders and consumers continue to adapt to technological advancements and changes in the economic landscape. This study provides valuable insights into how thrifting is not just an economic phenomenon but also reflects the identity and preferences of consumers in a constantly changing shopping culture.

Achievements are not only in the academic field, but can be found in non-academic fields. Therefore, the results of this research show that internal roles and external roles are very important factors in building a supportive platform for achievement. Thus, it can be concluded that the organization of extracurricular activities can be a forum for supporting achievement motivation in the non-academic field for students if the internal and external organizations can build each other and establish good relationships, especially focusing on the target of developing student motivation to excel in the extracurricular field which is carried out.

This research uses the literature review research method. This study adopts a qualitative methodology, as well as the methods for data analysis used are those that include content analysis. This research is also used in three actions: data gathering, reducing, presenting, and making conclusions. This investigation concludes that the use of the self-reward strategy is important for students to develop learning achievement. Additionally, self-reward can foster learning motivation among students.

The research results show that the use of comic media improves student learning outcomes, especially in social studies learning compared to the use of other learning media. Apart from learning outcomes, student motivation also increases significantly in social studies learning because comics make it easier for students to understand the information in them.

The Influence of Organizational Culture, Principal Leadership and Work Motivation to Teacher Commitment at SMPN Kepulauan Riau

Abstract: Abstract In schools, up to now there are still symptoms of problems related to organizational culture, principal leadership and work motivation with teacher commitment, so that in the aspect of teacher hard work it is still… till in the sufficient category and needs improvement. It is necessary to examine the influence of organizational culture, principal leadership and work motivation on teacher commitment. This research aims to examine the direct and indirect influence of organizational culture, principal leadership, and work motivation to teacher commitment at SMPN Kepulauan Riau. This research is research with an associative quantitative approach with a survey design taking the location of SMPN Kepulauan Riau. The population in this study was 801 teachers with civil servant status and the sample was 80 teachers. The results of the analysis show that there is a simultaneous direct influence between organizational culture, principal leadership and work motivation to teacher commitment at SMPN Kepulauan Riau with a multiple correlation coefficient of (0.460) with a contribution of (73.96%). The conclusion is that organizational culture, principal leadership and teacher work motivation partially or simultaneously influence teacher commitment. The implication is that the better the organizational culture, principal leadership and work motivation, the higher the teacher commitment at SMPN Kepulauan Riau.

To achieve this goal, a qualitative descriptive approach was used, which includes describing a commitment to love God, understanding God's work throughout history, and exploring its practical applications. The research methodology includes a thorough review of relevant literature and Biblical texts to gather comprehensive information. The findings of this research reveal that commitment to God is a fundamental aspect of local wisdom. By continuing to obey His commandments, Christians can protect themselves from the effects of their current circumstances. Therefore, the findings of this research emphasize the need for unwavering faith and obedience in upholding our devotion as a community in worship.

QRIS: Factors Influencing Interest in Adoption by MSMEs in Semarang Regency

Abstract: Abstract The motivation of this research is related to the use of QRIS in micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (UMKM) in Semarang District. QRIS is a digital payment tool introduced by Bank Indonesia in 2019. The Government's… Government's initiative in launching QRIS is to make it easier for people who prefer digital payments, especially young people in Indonesia. The use of QRIS itself is increasing every year. The Governor of Bank Indonesia stated that more than 90% of UMKMs in Indonesia have used QRIS. The benefits of using QRIS for UMKM are faster payment processes, no need to prepare for money returns, increased sales turnover, easier settlement process, and financial discipline. The model used in this study is the Technology Accepted Model (TAM). TAM is a method to measure individual reception to the use of information technology systems. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (UMKM) are used as populations in this study. In the sample selection, the researchers conducted the dissemination of the questionnaire with two events, namely online and offline. The samples obtained after the implementation of disseminated questionnaires and according to the conditions of the research sample are as many as 210 UMKM. Further, SmartPLS version 4 software is used for data processing. The findings from this study are that product knowledge variables significantly affect the use of QRIS. Perceived usefulness variables have also been found to influence the use. The same thing was also found in the perceived ease of use variable. Other findings that are backward related to the perception of risk variables. On this variable, it has been found that there is a negative influence against the use, so, it can be concluded that UMKM in Semarang district is still afraid related to financial risk as a result of the QRIS use.

Analysis of Employee Loyalty with Job Satisfaction as Intervening Variable

Abstract: The objective of this study is to examine the influence of factors such as work motivation, salary, work environment, and career development on employee loyalty. It also explores the role of employee job satisfaction as… a mediator in this relationship. The research will be conducted at 9 coffee shops located in Semarang City. The population involved in this study consists of all employees working at 9 coffee shops in Semarang City. The sample used comprises 98 individuals who have been working for more than 1 year. Data analysis in this study was conducted using the SmartPLS 3.0 software. Testing hypotheses using the PLS method. The findings indicated that the job satisfaction of coffee shop workers in Semarang City was impacted by factors such as motivation, salary, work environment, and career growth. Enhanced work drive and remuneration will lead to heightened job contentment. Similarly, an improved work environment and opportunities for professional growth would enhance employee job satisfaction. One thing that affects loyalty is job satisfaction. This suggests that when job satisfaction grows, employee loyalty also increases. Job satisfaction acts as a mediator between salary and loyalty, work environment and loyalty, and career development and loyalty. However, it does not act as an intermediary between work motivation and loyalty.

This study aimed to determined the relationship… of work motivation to nurse performance.This is quantitative research with a cross sectional approach, the population was 103 nurses in inpatient room and the sample was 51 nurse data collection techniques used questionnaires. The result showed that the variable of appreciation acquired (0.007), work itself (0.034) and job promotion (0.035) had a link with nursing performance. While the responsibility variable of received a value (0.891) the appreciation, work, and job promotion have a relationship with nurse performance, whereas responsibility have no relationship with nurse performance. Abstract: Love is the initial motivation for couples to decide to get married. However, love can change over the course of marriage. The pros and cons regarding the truth that love is the foundation and reason for the survival of… a marriage need to be studied further. The importance of knowing the most important elements in marriage will minimize conflict and even divorce. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques based on literature studies. The study of marriage and all components of marriage is the object of this research. The main research data comes from the book "A Triangular Theory of Love" by Robert J. Sternberg and "The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work" by John Gottman. Apart from that, supporting data such as books and articles related to marriage and studies of love in married life are also used as supporting references. The research results show the dynamics of changes in the type of love during marriage. There are three components to love including: (1) the intimacy component; (2) passion component; and (3) commitment component. These three components can form different types of love. The love component can increase and decrease and even disappear. However, the component of love that is a factor in a marriage lasting a long time is the component of commitment. This is because even if the passion and intimacy of a husband and wife change, if the marriage commitment is maintained firmly, the marriage will still be able to survive. The commitment component in love is the most important element in marriage which is the reason for the formation and survival of a marriage.
