Abstract: The research was conducted at the Food Security Office of Medan City Jl. Kramat Indah /Selambo Ujung . The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Gandasil D fertilizer on the growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica… ssica rapa L), to determine the effect of watering frequency on the growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L) and to determine the effect of both on the growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L). Based on the results of the study, the treatment of Gandasil D fertilizer had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, wet weight, selling weight with a fertilizer concentration of 3 g / l water and a watering frequency of 1 time in one day compared to 1 time in 3 days of watering and the interaction between the treatment of Gandasil D fertilizer and watering frequency had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, wet weight, and selling weight.

THE EFFECT OF COW MANURE AND UREA FERTILIZER APPLICATION ON THE GROWTH

Abstract: This study expects to determine the impact of cow compost and urea manure to increase yields and ideal plant development. This exploration was completed at the Medan City Food Security Administration, Jl. Delightful Kramat/Selambo… at/Selambo Ujung. From May to August 2023. This study utilized a factorial randomized bunch plan (RBD) which comprised of 2 treatment factors with the image S which comprised of 3 levels, in particular; ( S1) 1 kg/plot (S2) 2 kg/plot and (S3) 3 kg/plot. The subsequent factorial is the U image which consists of 3 levels to be specific; (U1) 30 g/plot (U2) 40 g/plot and (P3) 50 g/plot. With the goal that 9 medicines were obtained. Every treatment was rehashed multiple times. The perception information was then examined with the F trial of change at the 5% level, in the event that the thing that matters was huge, the test was gone on with the Duncan test. From the aftereffects of the examination and conversation completed, the accompanying ends were obtained: 1). The impact of cow fertilizer application affected plant level, number of leaves, number of blossoms, number of cases and unit weight of bean plants (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) 2). The impact of applying urea manure meaningfully affected plant level, significantly affected the quantity of leaves, fundamentally affected the quantity of blossoms and affected the quantity of cases and unit weight of bean plants (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) 3). The communication between the treatment of cow excrement and urea manure essentially affected plant level, number of blossoms, number of cases and unit weight, but not altogether unique on the quantity of leaves of bean plants (Phaseolus vulgaris L.)

THE EFFECT OF DOLOMITE AND NPK FERTILIZER APPLICATION ON GROWTH

Abstract: This research was conducted at the UPT Benih Induk Palawija located in North Sumatra, precisely at Jl. Pendidikan No. 23, Tanjung Selamat, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency, the research was conducted in the period… of June--September 2023. RAK or Randomized Block Design through factorial with two treatment factors was used as the method of this research. Three levels namely: D1 = 0 g / plot (0 kg / ha), D2 = 40 g / plot (270 kg / ha), D3 = 60 g / plot (400 kg / ha), the three of them became the first factor of dolomite (D) dosage which was grouped into three levels. In addition, N1 = 30 g / plot (200 kg / ha), N2 = 45 g / plot (300 kg / ha), N3 = 60 g / plot (400 kg / ha), the three of them became the second factor of NPK Mutiara fertilizer dosage which was divided into three levels. Dolomite application, 60 g/plot produces optimal yield and growth of peanut plants, namely the weight of 100 dry seeds, plant height, pod weight per plot, flowering age, pod weight per plant, number of branches, number of filled pods per plant, number of gynophores per plant, number of empty pods per plant, and total number of pods per plant are significantly affected by dolomite application. Meanwhile, application of NPK Mutiara fertilizer with a dose of 60 g/plot shows the same thing. The combination of dolomite and NPK Mutiara fertilizer only has a significant effect on the number of gynophores per plant.

Abstract: The Tudang Sipulung tradition represents the crystallization of deliberative consensus values that persist within the agrarian communities of South Sulawesi. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation process… cess of the Tudang Sipulung custom in Marannu Village, Maros Regency. Employing a qualitative research method with a distinct anthropological approach, data were gathered through participant observation and in-depth interviews with key informants. The findings reveal that the execution of Tudang Sipulung in Marannu Village is not merely a ceremonial ritual but a structured forum for collective decision-making. This procession involves a synergy between traditional leaders, village government officials, agricultural extension workers, and the farming community, particularly in preparation for the rice planting season. The primary agenda includes determining planting schedules, selecting seed varieties, and managing irrigation systems to minimize the risk of crop failure. Anthropologically, this tradition serves as a medium for social integration, bridging local wisdom with technical government policies. This study concludes that the sustainability of Tudang Sipulung is a crucial factor in maintaining food security and social harmony within the Marannu Village community.

Abstract: Tumbuhan sebagai produsen memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam ekosistem. Beragamnya jenis-jenis tanaman yang tersebar di seluruh negeri ini membuat manusia kerap kali salah membedakan antara tanaman satu dengan yang… ng lain. Namun, dengan berkembangnya kemajuan zaman banyak manusia mulai mengabaikan keberadaannya. Dengan begitu, penulis mengambil langkah inovatif untuk mengenalkan tumbuhan-tumbuhan yang ada disekitar melalui produk ecoprint. Ecoprint sendiri didefinisikan sebagai suatu proses transfer warna dan bentuk ke kain melalui kontak langsung dengan memanfaatkan bagian tumbuhan yang mengandung pigmen warna atau zat antosianin. Tujuan percobaan ini adalah untuk membuat batik ecoprint bermotif tumbuhan untuk mempelajari keanekaragaman dan juga menjelaskan taksonomi terkait tumbuhan-tumbuhan yang dimanfatkan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 25 Juli 2024 bertempat di SD Negeri Jerukagung 1. Metode percobaan yang dilakukan ini adalah metode praktikum secara langsung dengan teknik pounding. Percobaan ini didasari oleh beberapa permasalahan yang ditemui penulis seperti peristiwa Plant Blindness. Istilah tersebut digunakan untuk merujuk orang-orang yang tidak peduli atau memiliki minim pengetahuan mengenai tumbuh-tumbuhan sehingga disebut sebagai seorang buta tanaman. Berdasarkan data percobaan yang diperoleh penulis dapat disimpulkan bahwa ecoprint mampu menjadi alternatif sebagai upaya preventif dalam mengatasi permasalahan Plant Blindness. Selain itu, produk ecoprint juga mampu menjadi salah satu upaya konservatif keanekaragaman hayati yang ada khususnya untuk peserta didik di SD Negeri Jerukagung 1.

Abstract: This study aims to determine and understand the performance of plantation field extension workers who work in the context of managing the National movement program of cocoa in Sigi Regency. This research uses the performance… ance theory proposed by Robbins, consisting of 3 main aspects of assessment, namely: motivation, ability, and opportunity. The research method used, qualitative with a descriptive approach, involved a number of informants interviewed during the study, in addition to displaying as supporting data secondary, the results of the study of literature and the study of documents. This study concluded that the performance of agricultural extension workers working in the National movement program for cocoa in Sigi Regency has not been maximized, not only due to aspects of: motivation, ability, and opportunity, but also caused by various other factors.

A Study on the CTC Method Grinding Machine in Black Tea Processing at PTPN IV Unit Kebun Sidamanik

Abstract: Black tea processing Is categorized into two methods: (1” Orthodox and (2) CTC (Crushing, Tearing, and Curling). These methods are implemented through hands-on activities at the company/factory based on theoretical knowledge,… wledge, which is then applied in the form of field work practice (PKL). The conclusions drawn from the field work practice are as follows: The Sidamanik Plantation Is one of 24 tea plantations under the Sidamanik Plantation Unit of PTPN IV, located in Sidamanik ’istrict. The CTC black tea produced at the Sidamanik factory Is then shipped to the main factory for ’lending there, with the composition regulated by the technology department, as the CTC black tea from the Sidamanik factory does not yet have a s’les label. At the Sidamanik factory, grinding Is performed in two stages using a 15” Rotorvan” (RV) machine for the first grinding and a 36” Teaman CTC 4-Cut machine with four sets of sequential rollers for the second grinding. The Rotorvane’s capacity is 484,739.3533 kg of withered tea leav’s per hour, equivalent to 581,710.4923 ’g of fresh withred tea leaves per hour, and equivalent to ’21,810.1771 kg of dry tea per hour” The CTC plant’s capacity is 18,274.7704 kg of ground tea pe” hour, equivalent to a capacity of 21,930.6017 kg of fresh withered tea leaves per hour, and ”quiv’lent to a capacity of 4,592.2680 k” of dry tea per hour
