Dampak Virtual Reality terhadap Identitas Individu dalam Novel Ready Player One Karya Ernest Cline

Abstract: Ernest Cline's novel Ready Player One depicts the impact of Virtual Reality (VR) on individual identity. The aim of this research is to analyze how VR is constructed as a space for testing individual identity in the novel… l Ready Player One. This research uses qualitative methods with a discourse analytic approach to examine how virtual identities are constructed in novels. Research data was obtained through novel analysis. Analysis was carried out by re-reading the novel and noting each scene that symbolized virtual identity. The research results show that Virtual Reality can be a place for individuals to experiment with their identity. In this novel, the main character Wade Watts uses an Avatar named Parzival to take part in a competition in the OASIS, a virtual world created by James Halliday. Wade chose this Avatar because he wanted to be a brave and strong figure, different from his true identity in the real world. Virtual Reality can have both positive and negative impacts on an individual's identity. On the one hand, Virtual Reality can be a place for individuals to experiment with their identity and find a more authentic identity. On the other hand, Virtual Reality can also influence individual identity by creating false and unrealistic virtual identities.

The Influence of Audit Fees on Audit Quality

Abstract: This study investigates how audit fees impact audit quality. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the effect of audit fees on audit quality in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange… e which are categorized as LQ45. This study was conducted using the verification method. Researchers involved 225 LQ45 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2020. The data used comes from secondary data collected through the documentation method. In analyzing the data, this study uses panel data regression statistical testing with a random effect model. The findings of this study are that audit fees are positive to audit quality based on the calculation of panel data regression analysis conducted through the Eviews 9 program.

Abstract: The purchase decision is the main goal or purpose of selling a product. This study aims to analyze the influence of marketing experience, price and brand trust on purchasing decisions. This study was conducted using a descriptive… scriptive quantitative research method with data collection using a research tool in the form of questionnaires distributed directly to respondents. The subjects of this study include consumers who purchased Jotun brand paint products from CV. Asia Maju Rantauprapat during the period specified by the author. Determining the sample size used the purposive sampling technique with a total of 65 consumers. To analyze and analyze the research data, it was carried out using the computer program SPSS version 20 with instrumental testing, classical hypothesis testing, multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing. Research results show that marketing experience, price and brand trust have a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions. At the same time, marketing experience, price and brand trust have a positive and significant impact on purchase decisions with a contribution of 0.888 or 88.80% and the remaining 11.20% is influenced by other factors. Other factors were not considered in this study.

Abstract: In the era now, the rapid development of technology makes people use the internet. E-commerce players use the internet as a digital marketing medium. One of the e-commerce that developed at that time was Bukalapak. This… study aims to determine the effect of trust and ease of use of applications on purchasing decisions on the Bukalapak site in East Lombok. The method used in this research is associative method and the type of data used is quantitative data. The population of this study were all people who used the Bukalapak application in East Lombok. Determination of the sample using Non-Probability Sampling with a total of 75 respondents. The data analysis method uses validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, hypothesis testing and multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the trust variable has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions The Ease-of-Use variable has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions.  

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Perbandingan Di SD Swasta  Al-Washliyah 80

Abstract: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji dampak penerapan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada topik perbandingan di Sekolah Dasar Swasta AlWashliyah 80 Kisaran. Metode penelitian&#8230; nelitian yang digunakan Adalah eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang dipilih adalah pengambilan sampel klaster, yang melibatkan siswa dari kelas VI B dan VI C sebagai subjek penelitian.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dan uji-T untuk pengujian hipotesis. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data dari kedua kelas tersebut berdistribusi normal, dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,052 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 0,693 untuk kelas kontrol; kedua nilai tersebut melebihi 0,05. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan nilai Sig. (dua sisi) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05; oleh karena itu, H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam prestasi belajar matematika antara siswa yang menggunakan model PBL dan mereka yang belajar secara konvensional. Oleh karena itu, model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah telah terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika siswa. This study was conducted to examine the impact of implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on students’ mathematics learning outcomes in the topic of ratios at AlWashliyah Private Elementary School 80 Kisaran. The research method used was an experiment with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique selected was cluster sampling, involving students from classes VI B and VI C as research subjects. The data analysis techniques used included the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and the t-test for hypothesis testing. The results of the normality test indicated that the data from both classes were normally distributed, with significance values of 0.052 for the experimental class and 0.693 for the control class; both values exceeded 0.05. The results of the hypothesis testing showed a Sig. (two-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05; therefore, H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. This proves that there is a significant difference in mathematics achievement between students who used the PBL model and those who learned conventionally. Therefore, the Problem-Based Learning model has been proven effective in improving students’ mathematics achievement.

Sistem Informasi Absensi Pegawai Berbasis Web Pada Kantor Camat Kota Kisaran Barat

Abstract: Kantor Camat Kota Kisaran Barat pada saat ini masih melakukan absensi secara manual yaitu dengan menggunakan form absensi yang hanya disimpan menggunakan media kertas akan menimbulkan pemborosan kertas.  Penelitian ini bertujuan&#8230; bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah Aplikasi Berbasis Website yang dapat mengoptimalkan pengelolaan kehadiran pegawai di Kantor Camat Kota Kisaran Barat, dan juga dapat memastikan bahwa kehadiran pegawai sesuai dengan aturan dan kebijakan yang berlaku. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode waterfall yang meliputi: analisis, desain, pengkodean, testing dan pemeliharaan. Dengan dihasilkannya aplikasi absensi pegawai berbasis web dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam proses absensi, pencarian data dan meminimalisir kehilangan serta kesalahan pencatatan data absensi pada Kantor Camat Kota Kisaran Barat.  

Penerapan The Dude Sebagai Monitoring System Untuk Optimalisasi Kinerja Infrastruktur Jaringan

Abstract: Abstract: The development of network infrastructure in higher education environments demands a monitoring system capable of detecting disruptions quickly and accurately. Royal University does not yet have an integrated and&#8230; nd real-time network monitoring system, so network administrators often discover disruptions after receiving reports from users. This condition results in slow response to disruption handling and suboptimal network performance. This study aims to implement The Dude as a network monitoring system to support the optimization of Royal University's network infrastructure performance. The research method used is a qualitative approach with the stages of problem identification, literature study, system analysis, system design, implementation, and system testing. The monitoring system is implemented with The Dude Server architecture running on MikroTik CHR, while The Dude Client is used by the administrator via a laptop. The results show that the system is capable of performing network discovery, monitoring device status in real-time, displaying network topology visualization, recording monitoring history, and providing notifications when disruptions occur. System testing proves that all monitoring functions run according to the analyzed requirements. Thus, the implementation of The Dude is proven effective in increasing the speed of disruption detection, troubleshooting efficiency, and optimizing the network performance of Royal University. Universitas Royal belum memiliki sistem monitoring jaringan yang terintegrasi dan real-time, sehingga administrator jaringan sering mengetahui gangguan setelah menerima laporan dari pengguna. Kondisi ini berdampak pada lambatnya respons penanganan gangguan serta kurang optimalnya kinerja jaringan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan The Dude sebagai sistem monitoring jaringan guna mendukung optimalisasi kinerja infrastruktur jaringan Universitas Royal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan tahapan identifikasi masalah, studi literatur, analisis sistem, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian sistem. Sistem monitoring diimplementasikan dengan arsitektur The Dude Server yang berjalan pada MikroTik CHR, sedangkan The Dude Client digunakan oleh administrator melalui laptop. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu melakukan network discovery, memantau status perangkat secara real-time, menampilkan visualisasi topologi jaringan, mencatat histori monitoring, serta memberikan notifikasi ketika terjadi gangguan. Pengujian sistem membuktikan bahwa seluruh fungsi monitoring berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang telah dianalisis. Dengan demikian, implementasi The Dude terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kecepatan deteksi gangguan, efisiensi troubleshooting, dan optimalisasi kinerja jaringan Universitas Royal. Penerapan Data Mining Metode Regresi Liner Berganda Dalam Memprediksi Penjualan Di Toko F3i Kisaran

Abstract: Abstract: This study is motivated by the underutilization of transaction data at Toko F3I Kisaran in supporting decision-making related to inventory and pricing strategies. Currently, decisions are made conventionally based&#8230; sed on experience, which may lead to overstock or stockout conditions. This research aims to develop a sales prediction model by applying Data Mining techniques using the Multiple Linear Regression method to analyze the influence of stock and price variables on sales. The research methodology includes historical data collection, regression analysis, web-based system design using PHP and MySQL, and system testing through the Black Box method. The results indicate that the developed model is capable of generating measurable and systematic sales estimations based on stock and price variables. The implementation of this system can assist store management in planning inventory levels and pricing strategies more efficiently, thereby improving operational effectiveness and business competitiveness.             Keywords: data mining; multiple linear regression; PHP; sales prediction; web-based system Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum optimalnya pemanfaatan data transaksi penjualan pada Toko F3I Kisaran dalam mendukung pengambilan keputusan terkait persediaan dan penetapan harga. Selama ini, keputusan masih dilakukan secara konvensional berdasarkan pengalaman, sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan overstock maupun stockout. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun model prediksi penjualan dengan menerapkan teknik Data Mining menggunakan metode Regresi Linier Berganda guna menganalisis pengaruh variabel stok dan harga terhadap penjualan. Metodologi penelitian meliputi pengumpulan data historis, analisis perhitungan regresi, perancangan sistem berbasis web menggunakan PHP dan MySQL, serta pengujian sistem dengan metode Black Box. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model yang dibangun mampu menghasilkan estimasi penjualan berdasarkan variabel stok dan harga secara lebih terukur dan sistematis. Implementasi sistem ini dapat membantu manajemen toko dalam merencanakan jumlah persediaan dan strategi harga secara lebih efisien, sehingga meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan bisnis dan daya saing perusahaan. Perancangan Robot Penyiram Tanaman Scala 1 : 30 Dengan Sistem Kendali Android Berbasis Embedded System

Abstract: Abstract: This research discusses the design and development of a plant-watering robot at a 1:30 scale controlled via an Android application and an embedded system based on an Arduino microcontroller. The purpose of this&#8230; study is to produce an automatic plant-watering robot that is efficient, energy-saving, and easy to operate to support agricultural automation. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), which includes stages of requirement identification, design, construction, testing, and system evaluation. The main components used include an Arduino Uno, HC-05 Bluetooth module, L298N motor driver, HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, 12V DC water pump, and a 25W solar panel as an alternative power source. The test results show that the robot can operate automatically with a success rate of 90%, battery endurance of approximately 1 hour and 13 minutes, charging time of about 5 hours and 38 minutes, and the water pump operates effectively for up to 5 hours. The integration of Android control, embedded systems, and solar power makes this robot an innovative solution for environmentally friendly and efficient agricultural automation.      Keywords: plant-watering robot; Android; embedded system; Arduino; solar panel Abstrak: Penelitian ini membahas perancangan dan pengembangan robot penyiram tanaman skala 1:30 yang dikendalikan melalui aplikasi Android dan sistem embedded berbasis mikrokontroler Arduino. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan robot penyiram tanaman otomatis yang efisien, hemat energi, dan mudah dioperasikan untuk mendukung otomasi pertanian. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan tahapan identifikasi kebutuhan, perancangan, pembuatan, pengujian, dan evaluasi sistem. Komponen utama yang digunakan meliputi Arduino Uno, modul Bluetooth HC-05, driver motor L298N, sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04, pompa air DC, dan panel surya 25 W sebagai sumber energi alternatif. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa robot mampu beroperasi secara otomatis dengan tingkat keberhasilan 90%, ketahanan baterai selama ±1 jam 13 menit, lama pengisian daya sekitar 5 jam 38 menit, serta pompa air bekerja efektif hingga 5 jam. Integrasi antara kendali Android, sistem embedded, dan tenaga surya menjadikan robot ini solusi inovatif untuk otomatisasi penyiraman tanaman yang ramah lingkungan dan berpotensi diterapkan pada lahan pertanian sesungguhnya. Perancangan Sistem Informasi Geografis Pemetaan Peninggalan Belanda Di Kota Padang

Abstract: Abstract: Padang City holds various historical relics from the Dutch colonial era, which possess significant historical value and high tourism potential. However, information regarding the locations and descriptions of these&#8230; hese relics is still scattered and difficult to access in an integrated manner. This study aims to design and implement an Android-based Geographic Information System (GIS) that presents an interactive map containing the locations, descriptions, and photos of the heritage sites, along with a regional filter feature to facilitate navigation. The development process began with data collection from the Tourism Office and field observations, followed by map processing in ArcMap, publication to ArcGIS Online, and the creation of an Android application using ArcGIS Maps SDK and Jetpack Compose. Integration with a MySQL database allows the automatic display of location points on the map. The implementation results show that the application can display 33 heritage site points in three districts of Padang City, complete with descriptions, photos, district filters, and Web Map integration. Testing demonstrated that the application runs smoothly, is informative and interactive, and can support cultural preservation efforts while encouraging interest in historical tourism in Padang City. Abstrak: Kota Padang menyimpan berbagai peninggalan bersejarah dari masa kolonial Belanda yang memiliki nilai sejarah dan potensi wisata tinggi. Namun, informasi mengenai lokasi dan deskripsi peninggalan tersebut masih tersebar dan sulit diakses secara terpadu. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) berbasis Android yang menyajikan peta interaktif berisi lokasi, deskripsi, foto peninggalan, serta dilengkapi fitur filter wilayah untuk memudahkan penelusuran. Proses pengembangan diawali dengan pengumpulan data dari Dinas Pariwisata dan observasi lapangan, dilanjutkan dengan pengolahan peta di ArcMap, publikasi ke ArcGIS Online, serta pembuatan aplikasi Android menggunakan ArcGIS Maps SDK dan Jetpack Compose. Integrasi dengan basis data MySQL memungkinkan penampilan titik lokasi secara otomatis pada peta. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan aplikasi mampu menampilkan 33 titik peninggalan di tiga kecamatan di Kota Padang, lengkap dengan deskripsi, foto, filter kecamatan, dan integrasi Web Map. Hasil pengujian membuktikan aplikasi berjalan lancar, informatif, dan interaktif sehingga dapat mendukung upaya pelestarian budaya, dan mendorong peningkatan minat wisata sejarah di Kota Padang.
