llenges, such as limited resources, a lack of community capacity in management, and dependence on external parties. This study aims to analyze community empowerment based on local participation through the management of the tourism village, using the community empowerment theory proposed by Jim Ife. The study emphasizes the importance of resource, opportunity, knowledge, and skill indicators in supporting the success of community empowerment. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, collecting data through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. The primary informants of the study include community leaders, local business actors, and tourism village managers. The findings reveal that empowerment through resource indicators has increased the income of craft businesses by 150%, from IDR 2 million to IDR 5 million per month. Furthermore, the opportunity indicator successfully opened avenues for the community to manage homestays, increasing income by up to 70% compared to previous levels. The knowledge and skill indicators also proved significant, with more than 90% of the community actively participating in training, which supports the sustainable economy of the tourism village. The conclusion of this study highlights that community empowerment based on local participation has a positive impact on the economic independence of the Panglipuran Village community. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of community empowerment elements with local wisdom values, such as mutual cooperation and cultural preservation. This model contributes not only to economic development but also serves as a best practice example in sustainable local participation-based tourism village management.

This study uses a qualitative approach that describes the object of study through the process of extracting facts and object data in the field. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study indicate that the work commitment of the Madrasah principal in improving the effectiveness of private MTs in the Riau Islands is not optimal, because there are still many aspects that have not been achieved in terms of realization, budget constraints for the procurement of Madrasah facilities and infrastructure, increasing the professionalism of human resources, and other facilities that are still very limited. For this reason, the head of private MTs in the Riau Islands Province tries to improve the effectiveness of madrasas by implementing strategic educational development concepts. The roles played by the head of the Madrasah are; 1) focusing on common interests, 2) improving communication and understanding, 3) increasing involvement and participation, and 4) avoiding win-lose solutions. These roles are very helpful in realizing increased effectiveness of education in madrasas.

This research aims to explore the factors influencing individual investment interest in PT. Indonex Bangun Investama, a key player in the Indonesian capital market. The research adopts a quantitative approach involving 82 active investors of PT. Indonex Bangun Investama. Data analysis utilizes various statistical techniques such as normality tests, multicollinearity tests, and multiple linear regression analysis to examine the impact of risk, motivation, and investment knowledge variables on investment interest. The analysis results indicate that risk and motivation significantly affect investment interest, while investment knowledge, although important, does not significantly influence investment interest individually. These findings provide deeper insights into the psychological and economic factors underlying individual investment decisions in the Indonesian capital market. The implications of this research suggest the need for a more holistic and strategic educational approach to enhance financial literacy and effective risk mitigation in individual investment strategies. Thus, this research makes a significant contribution to the development of education strategies and risk management in the Indonesian capital market context, laying a foundation for further discussions on expanding accessibility and participation in investment among the public.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing students’ cognitive abilities in learning Physics through a meta-analysis. The PBL model emphasizes student-centered learning, where students are invited to solve real and relevant problems, thus increasing engagement and deeper conceptual understanding. Data were collected from 20 research articles published between 2017 and 2024, which discuss students’ cognitive abilities and the PBL approach. The meta-analysis results show that PBL has a significant effect on improving students’ cognitive abilities in Physics, with 13 articles showing high effect sizes, 3 articles moderate effect sizes, and 4 articles low effect sizes. PBL has proven effective in developing students’ critical, creative, and analytical thinking skills. Additionally, PBL enhances students’ active participation in the learning process and facilitates the understanding and application of Physics concepts in various practical situations. This study asserts that PBL is an effective method for improving students’ cognitive abilities in learning Physics at the high school level, by fostering critical thinking, communication, and practical knowledge application skills. These findings underscore the importance of using innovative learning models such as PBL to advance Physics education and improve student learning outcomes.

This study evaluates student satisfaction with teacher performance at MAS Alwashliyah Petatal using the COmplex PRoportional ASsessment (COPRAS) method, which effectively handles multi-criteria comparisons objectively. Data were collected through questionnaires completed by 66 out of 209 students (31.58% response rate), assessing 16 teachers based on four competency aspects: pedagogical, personality, social, and professional, with 12 sub-criteria. Despite the low participation rate, the data remained representative based on response distribution analysis. The results indicate that the COPRAS method accurately ranks teacher performance, with teacher Lia Novia, S.Pd achieving the highest satisfaction score (100%). These findings can be integrated into school policies, such as annual teacher evaluations and teacher development programs. The implementation of this evaluation system can also serve as a basis for designing teacher training that better aligns with student needs. Thus, the COPRAS method not only helps schools assess teacher performance more objectively but also supports more effective decision-making to enhance teaching quality and overall student satisfaction.

Abstrak: Kepuasan siswa terhadap kinerja guru berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Evaluasi kinerja guru diperlukan untuk memahami sejauh mana pengajaran memenuhi harapan siswa. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi tingkat kepuasan siswa terhadap kinerja guru di MAS Alwashliyah Petatal menggunakan metode COmplex PRoportional ASsessment (COPRAS), yang mampu menangani perbandingan multi-kriteria secara objektif. Data diperoleh dari kuesioner yang diisi oleh 66 dari 209 siswa (tingkat respons 31,58%), menilai 16 guru berdasarkan empat aspek kompetensi, yaitu pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial, dan profesional, dengan 12 sub-kriteria. Meskipun partisipasi rendah, data tetap representatif berdasarkan analisis distribusi jawaban. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode COPRAS memberikan pemeringkatan kinerja guru secara akurat, di mana guru Lia Novia, S.Pd memperoleh nilai kepuasan tertinggi (100%). Hasil ini dapat diintegrasikan dalam kebijakan sekolah, seperti evaluasi tahunan guru dan program pengembangan tenaga pendidik. Implementasi sistem evaluasi ini juga dapat digunakan sebagai dasar penyusunan pelatihan guru yang lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Dengan demikian, metode COPRAS tidak hanya membantu sekolah dalam menilai kinerja guru secara lebih objektif tetapi juga mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih tepat untuk meningkatkan mutu pengajaran dan kepuasan siswa.

Abstrak: Perpustakaan adalah salah satu pusat informasi yang sangat dekat dan akrab dengan masyarakat. Seiring dengan meningkatnya peran serta masyarakat untuk membantu pemerintah dalam pelaksanaan peningkatan minat dan budaya baca serta sebagai sarana sumber ilmu pengetahuan, maka telah banyak berdiri perpustakaan di daerah Kabupaten Asahan. Berdirinya perpustakaan daerah untuk mempercepat peningkatan minat dan budaya baca serta sebagai sarana sumber ilmu pengetahuan. This community service activity aims to increase the understanding, capacity, and political participation of women in the PKK group in Ledug village, Kembaran sub-district, especially in the village development process. The methods used include FGD, direct observation, counseling, and village forum simulations. The results of the activity show that the PKK Ledug group has a high motivation to be involved in village development but still faces obstacles such as limited information regarding village political mechanisms and lack of self-confidence. After the community service was implemented, the PKK Ledug group was able to convey aspirations in a more structured manner. The village forum simulation showed an increase in the activeness of the PKK Ledug group in discussions and submitting program proposals. This community service proves that political awareness can be an effective strategy to increase the contribution of the PKK Ledug group in village development.

Abstrak: Partisipasi politik perempuan merupakan aspek penting dalam pembangunan desa yang berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, kapasitas, partisipasi politik perempuan kelompok PKK di desa Ledug, kecamatan Kembaran terutama proses Pembangunan desa. Metode yang digunakan meliputi FGD,observasi langsung,penyuluhan, simulasi forum desa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan kelompok PKK Ledug memiliki motivasi tinggi untuk terlibat dalam pembangunan desa tapi masih menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan informasi terkait mekanisme politik desa, minimnya kepercayaan diri.Setelah pengabdian dilaksanakan, kelompok PKK Ledug dapat menyampaikan aspirasi secara lebuh terstruktur.Simulasi forum desa memperlihatkan peningkatan keaktifan kelompok PKK Ledug dalam berdiskusi, mengajukan usulan program. Pengabdian ini membuktikan bahwa penyadaran politik dapat menjadi strategi efektif dapat meningkatkan konstribusi kelompok PKK Ledug dalam Pembangunan desa.

form of urban farming innovation. Urban farming is a strategic solution to address the challenges of limited land and increasing food needs in urban areas. The implementation method in this community service program consists of five methods, namely Socialization, Training, Technology Application, Mentoring, Monitoring and Evaluation. And through this activity, the Sumber Harapan Farmers Group was equipped with knowledge and skills in integrating catfish cultivation with vegetable crops (BUDIKDAMBER). The results of the Community Service Program showed an increase in the knowledge and skills of the Sumber Harapan Farmers Group from 20% to 87.31% after the community service program was implemented with a Very Good category. This shows that the application of BUDIKDAMBER technology is able to increase the participation of the Sumber Harapan Farmers Group and support food security as well as strengthen the spirit of household independence of the Farmers Group Towards Golden Indonesia 2045.

Abstrak: Program pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan Kelompok Tani Sumber Harapan yang berlokasi di Gurun Laweh, Kecamatan Nanggalo, Kota Padang melalui penerapan Teknologi BUDIKDAMBER (Budidaya Ikan Lele dalam Ember) sebagai bentuk inovasi pertanian perkotaan (Urban Farming). Urban Farming menjadi salah satu solusi strategis dalam menghadapi tantangan dalam keterbatasan lahan dan meningkatnya kebutuhan pangan di wilayah perkotaan. Metode pelaksanaan dalam program pengabdian ini terdiri atas lima metode, yaitu Sosialisasi, Pelatihan, Penerapan Teknologi, Pendampingan, Monitoring dan Evaluasi. Dan melalui kegiatan tersebut maka Kelompok Tani Sumber Harapan dibekali dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengintegrasikan budidaya ikan lele dengan tanaman sayuran (BUDIKDAMBER). Hasil Program Pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan Kelompok Tani Sumber Harapan dari 20% menjadi 87,31% setelah dilaksanakan program pengabdian dengan kategori Baik Sekali. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi BUDIKDAMBER mampu meningkatkan partisipasi Kelompok Tani Sumber Harapan dan mendukung ketahanan pangan serta memperkuat semangat kemandirian rumah tangga Kelompok Tani Menuju Indonesia Emas 2045.
