Transformation Of Islamic Education Management In The Digital Era: Trends And Implications For Learning Quality

Abstract: This research aims to examine the transformation of Islamic education management in the digital era and its implications for the quality of learning, with a focus on the innovation of technology use in teaching and administration.… istration. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation in several Islamic educational institutions that have implemented digital technology. Research results reveal that the adoption of technology such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and administrative digitization has improved the effectiveness of the learning process and the efficiency of school management. The findings also indicate that this transformation brings significant changes to the organizational culture, creating higher transparency and accountability in the management of educational institutions. The novelty of this research lies in the comprehensive analysis of the challenges and strategies faced by Islamic educational institutions in aligning technological advancements with traditional values, as well as the emphasis on the importance of continuous training for educators to enhance technological competence. Nevertheless, there are still obstacles such as limited infrastructure and a lack of digital literacy among educators. This research concludes that digital transformation in Islamic educational institutions offers great potential in improving the quality of education, provided it is accompanied by the enhancement of educators' capacities and equitable access to technology

Connectivism Practice in English Language Teaching (ELT): Teachers' Perception on Benefits and Challenges

Abstract: Connectivism provides abundant enchanting experiences in ELT context due to the benefits that it offers. However, as the practice requires technology integration, physical, and psychological readiness, teachers discover… challenges upon the implementation. This study aims at investigating the benefits and challenges of the practice in ELT context. Through content analysis qualitative study, the study attains the targeted exploration. 5 experienced English teachers are selected to conduct semi-structured interviews. The data were analyzed and reviewed by the researchers and experts for affording the valid results. The results provide valuable insights towards the issues that are raised. This study sheds a light on the essence of digital environment in ELT which assists the feasible various sources of learning to be attained. Findings revealed that Connectivism can definitely foster learners’ language skills, such as speaking, listening, and pronunciation through the various digital platforms that are provided. Interestingly, connectivism is advantageous for strengthening learners' 21st century skills, namely critical thinking, collaboration, communication skills, and creativity in learning English. On the other hand, the challenges encountered by teachers in integrating connectivism are 1) inadequate facilities and infrastructure, 2) lack of training and development in educator resources, and 3) low internet network access or the bandwidth.

The Role of Internet to Bridge Language Gaps in Learning English as a Foreign Language in Solo's Multilingual

Abstract: This study investigates the role of the internet in bridging language gaps and enhancing English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction within Solo's multilingual context. The focus is on how internet resources aid students… ents in navigating between Bahasa Jawa, Bahasa Indonesia, and English, reflecting the multilingual dynamics of EFL classrooms. Utilizing a qualitative approach, semi-structured interviews were conducted with students from grade XII public senior high schools in Solo, Central Java. The findings reveal that the internet plays a significant role in facilitating language learning by providing access to diverse resources and interactive platforms. It is reported that internet tools help them create more engaging and culturally relevant lessons, which cater to the multilingual backgrounds of the students. Students highlighted that online resources offer immediate feedback, diverse learning materials, and opportunities for practicing English in real-world contexts, which are crucial for mastering a foreign language. Moreover, the study shows that the internet supports students in developing digital literacy skills, which are essential for effective language learning in the 21st century. The use of internet-based learning tools helps students seamlessly transition between languages, enhancing their overall language proficiency and confidence in using English. This research underscores the importance of integrating internet resources in EFL education to address the unique linguistic needs of students in multilingual settings. Future studies should explore the long-term impacts of internet use on language acquisition and its potential integration with traditional teaching methods to create a more holistic and effective EFL learning environment.

Adapting And Resilient: How Indonesian Consumers Navigate E-Commerce Restrictions In The Post-Pandemic Retail Industry

Abstract: This research aims to examine changes in consumer attitudes and purchasing power in the Indonesian market after the pandemic, with a focus on the impact of restrictions on online sales via social media. The COVID-19 pandemic… emic has significantly changed consumer behavior, triggering a shift from conventional transactions to online platforms. However, online sales restrictions implemented by the Indonesian government raise questions about how consumers will respond and adapt to these changes. This research uses qualitative research methods, namely by describing systematically by conducting literature reviews about post-pandemic consumer behavior, and the impact of social media on purchasing decisions, surveys or questionnaires, and in-depth interviews with consumers to understand attitudes, and their experiences regarding online shopping on social media during the post-pandemic period. The research results reveal that restrictions on online sales via social media influence consumers' attitudes towards online shopping, forcing them to look for other alternatives or change purchasing preferences. Apart from that, these restrictions also have an impact on consumer purchasing power and consumption patterns. This analysis describes post-pandemic market dynamics in Indonesia, where e-commerce companies and business people have to adapt to changes in consumer behavior. Policy implications for the government and marketing strategies for business people are also discussed in the research providing an in-depth look at how to optimize market potential in Indonesia. amid restrictions on online sales. Exploring Students' Experience Of Using Nearpod In Grammar Lesson In Relation With Students’ Increased Engagement: A Descriptive Qualitative Approach

Abstract: The research aims to investigate the student’s experience of using Nearpod   related to students’ increased engagement in grammar lesson at SMAN 1 in Surakarta. The significant level of engagement is the key for students… udents to keep up with grammar lesson and then gain better comprehension of the lesson.  The research uses descriptive - qualitative method.  The research applies focus group discussion, in-depth interview, observation techniques and document analysis.  To broaden understanding about the level of engagement, the research explores the students’ experiences in learning grammar  using Nearpod. The research then analyzes the data from techniques to identify the pattern, trend, theme and meaning. The result of the research shows that the use of Nearpod in Grammar Lesson has significant impact in increasing students’ engagement. This finding implies the important of integrating subjects with digital platforms to create collaborative and interactive environment of learning.

This research uses a qualitative approach, combining interviews, case studies, and industry analysis to dissect the multifaceted strategy implemented by Gojek. This study explores Gojek's proficient use of digital channels and social media to drive consumer engagement. By analyzing consumer behavior and preferences, the study explains how Gojek tailors its marketing messages to resonate with diverse target audiences. In addition, this study examines the role of strategic partnerships and collaborations in strengthening Gojek's market presence and attracting new consumers. Furthermore, the study explores the impact of innovative features and services introduced by Gojek, such as loyalty programs and seamless user interfaces, on customer acquisition and retention. The study identifies the critical role of data analytics in shaping personalized marketing campaigns that appeal to specific consumer segments. The findings from this study contribute to a broader understanding of effective marketing and communication strategies in technology-based service industries. The insights derived from Gojek's approach provide valuable lessons for businesses looking to navigate a competitive market and expand their consumer base through strategic marketing initiatives.

Greening the System: Implementation of Green Technology in Administrative and Learning Management within Islamic Education Institutions

Abstract: This study explores the implementation of Green Technology (Greentech) in the dual domains of administrative management and pedagogical processes within Islamic education institutions (madrasahs, Islamic schools, and pesantren).… antren). It investigates the potential of Greentech—encompassing energy-efficient hardware, paperless systems, cloud computing, digital learning platforms, and IoT-based resource monitoring—to reduce environmental impact while enhancing operational efficiency and learning outcomes. Employing a mixed-methods sequential explanatory design, the research first surveyed a broad sample of institutions to map adoption levels, followed by in-depth case studies of early adopters. Findings indicate significant potential for reducing carbon footprint and operational costs through virtualization of services, e-learning integration, and smart facility management. However, major challenges persist, including high initial investment, digital literacy gaps among educators, concerns over technology's influence on traditional Islamic pedagogy (talaqqi), and inadequate technological infrastructure. The study concludes that a strategic, values-driven approach aligning Greentech adoption with maqashid sharia (particularly hifdz al-mal/resource preservation) is crucial. It presents a phased integration model that prioritizes technologies offering both environmental and educational benefits, advocating for a balanced fusion of technological efficiency and the preservation of relational, character-based Islamic learning.

Consumer Protection in Live Streaming-Based Commercial Transactions

Abstract: The rapid evolution of digital technologies, particularly live streaming features in e-commerce platforms, has significantly transformed consumer behavior while introducing new risks to consumer protection. Live streaming… g based commercial transactions often involve real time, visually driven interactions that encourage impulsive purchasing decisions, making traditional regulatory frameworks insufficient. This study aims to analyze the primary factors influencing consumer protection in live commerce settings by examining five core variables: product transparency, platform accountability, perceived risk, consumer trust, and digital literacy. Utilizing a qualitative exploratory approach, this research conducted a comprehensive literature review of 77 international journal articles published between 2020 and 2024. The findings indicate that product transparency and platform accountability are fundamental to enhancing consumer trust and reducing perceived risks, whereas digital literacy acts as a moderating factor that empowers consumers to make informed decisions. The study proposes a conceptual framework that integrates behavioral and regulatory dimensions, offering both theoretical insights and practical implications for improving consumer protection in fast paced, interactive digital marketplaces.

Gamified Learning Platforms: Enhancing Student Engagement and Achievement in Hybrid Classrooms

The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing purposive and random sampling to select students from hybrid classrooms. Data were collected through gamification-based platforms, student engagement surveys, and academic performance tests. The findings indicate that the use of gamification significantly increases student engagement, motivation, and academic achievement, particularly when integrated into a hybrid learning environment. This study also highlights challenges such as technology access and the need for teacher training to maximize the benefits of gamification. The results provide practical recommendations for educators to implement gamified elements in their teaching strategies and for platform developers to enhance features that support hybrid learning. Future research should investigate the broader impacts of gamification, particularly on diverse learning styles and across different academic subjects.
