thcare facilities, inadequate public amenities, environmental conditions requiring improvement, low socio-cultural activities, and limited local MSME development. The students implemented six main programs: establishing a reading corner; collaborating with the integrated health post (Posyandu) through elderly exercise, nutrition education, and supplementary feeding; renovating and organizing the village maternity post (Polindes); conducting greening and community clean-up activities at schools and the village; organizing the 17th August 2025 Independence Day celebration; and developing MSMEs based on egg-laying ducks into salted eggs and salted egg crackers. Methods employed included participatory observation, socialization, mentoring, hands-on practice, and active participation in socio-cultural activities. Evaluation was conducted through discussions with partners, field notes, and visual documentation. The results showed an improvement in literacy, the establishment of healthy habits among children and the elderly, a greener environment, successful organization of the Independence Day celebration, and increased economic value of local MSMEs. The program also enhanced students’ soft skills and strengthened synergy among students, villagers, and village officials, thus providing a positive impact on the community capacity of Buatan I Village.

Public speaking is a crucial skill in various aspects of life, ranging from education to the professional world. This ability not only helps in academic presentations but also impacts how a person communicates and influences others. At the high school level and equivalent, students begin preparing for the next stage in their education or entering the workforce. Many challenges arise for students when speaking in front of an audience in a formal setting and explaining their presentations. Students face difficulties due to a lack of self-confidence, nervousness, panic, and a lack of mastery over the material they will present. In addition to a lack of self-confidence, other challenges include limited vocabulary, low communication skills, fear of judgment from others, and insufficient preparation. Basic public speaking training at Al Ma'shum High School in Kisaran would be highly beneficial for students to boost their self-confidence, enhance their communication skills, sharpen their critical and logical thinking abilities, and equip them for entering the workforce. The basic public speaking training will involve methods such as self-introduction exercises, role-playing, speech structure practice, impromptu speaking, expression training, intonation and articulation exercises, as well as feedback and evaluation.

Third, staff training to ensure effective use of the system. The initial results of the program show improved record-keeping of canteen sales and visitor satisfaction. The digital payment system accelerates transactions, reduces errors, and streamlines sales tracking. Interactive and varied learning methods aim to increase student interest and participation in the learning process. Apart from that, the use of technology is also an important part of increasing digital literacy and numeracy. Through training, workshops, development of digital educational content, and integration of digital and computing skills into the curriculum, we aim to enable students to develop skills that meet the needs of our time. Through these programs, it is hoped that students will improve their literacy and numeracy skills, help them handle digital information better and prepare them to face the challenges of this digital era. ongoing issues in early reading ability among students. This study aimed to describe the early reading ability of the first-grade students at SDN 014 Tarakan through diagnostic assessment in terms of five key aspects: reading letters, reading syllables, reading words, reading paragraphs, and comprehending information from reading. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed in this study. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings revealed that in the letter reading aspect, 34 out of 55 students were fluent, while 21 were not. In the syllable reading aspect, 27 students were fluent, and 28 were not. In the word reading aspect, 21 students read fluently, while 34 did not. In the paragraph reading aspect, 15 students read fluently, and 40 struggled. In the comprehension aspect, 16 students could understand the content, whereas 39 had difficulties with comprehension. The study also identified several challenges faced by students with reading difficulties. These included poor memorization of letter shapes, frequent errors such as changing, omitting, or misplacing letters, difficulty with long words, limited vocabulary, and lack of concentration while reading.

Teachers act as primary cultural models, fostering a respectful social environment. However, challenges persist, such as the social dissonance between the school's structured discipline and the students' varied external home environments. Ultimately, this study demonstrates that embedding repetitive cultural rituals within educational institutions effectively instills core values of empathy, respect, and social harmony, providing a sustainable model for early childhood character development.

ng number of SKTM applications each year, which has not been matched by optimal service quality improvements. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation involving 11 informants consisting of village officials and community members. The results show that, in general, the SKTM service at Karang Indah Village Office is relatively effective, particularly in terms of procedures and costs, which are simple, transparent, and free of charge. The service completion time is also relatively fast, often completed within one working day. However, several challenges still affect service effectiveness, such as inconsistencies in procedural implementation, limited facilities and infrastructure, manual administrative systems, and insufficient public awareness regarding the requirements for obtaining SKTM. Additionally, coordination between neighborhood units (RT) and the village office remains suboptimal, potentially causing service delays. This study concludes that the effectiveness of SKTM service delivery in Karang Indah Village needs improvement through digital service innovation, capacity building for administrative staff, and strengthening supervision and public outreach.
