Pengolahan Sampah Organik Rumah Tangga Menjadi Pupuk Organik Cair Sebagai Pendukung Urban Farming Tanaman Toga

Abstract: The low level of public awareness about the importance of waste management has caused waste in Mentari Village Housing, km 21, not to be managed properly. Making Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) is one solution to overcome… e this problem. The process of making POC produces a liquid that can be used as organic fertilizer, while the solids produced can be used as a garden media. The focus of the community service activities carried out is the cultivation of TOGA plants and the use of household organic waste as fertilizer for TOGA plants. The implementation of this activity program consists of several stages of activity, namely observation of existing conditions, socialization of activities, training in making liquid organic fertilizer, mentoring and evaluation. With this activity, the Mentari Willage km 21 housing community is marked by a change in knowledge for the better regarding the cultivation of TOGA gardens and the importance of processing household waste into organic fertilizer which can contribute to sustainable agriculture. Keywords: liquid organic fertilizer; organic waste; TOGA plants.   Abstrak: Masih rendahnya kesadaran warga tentang pentingnya pengelolaan sampah menyebabkan sampah di Perumahan Mentari Village km 21 belum terkelola dengan baik. Pembuatan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) merupakan salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut.  Proses pembuatan POC menghasilkan cairan yang dapat digunakan sebagai pupuk organic, sedangkan padatan yang dihasilkan dapat dijadikan sebagai media tanam. Fokus dari kegiatan pengadian masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah budidaya tanaman TOGA dan pemanfaatan sampah organik rumah tangga sebagai pupuk tanaman TOGA. Pelaksanaan program kegiatan ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan kegiatan yaitu observasi kondisi eksisting, sosialisasi kegiatan, pelatihan pembuatan pupuk oraganik cair, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, masyarakat perumahan Mentari Willage km 21 yang ditandai dengan adanya perubahan pengetahuan menjadi tebih baik terkait budidaya tamana TOGA dan pentingnya pengolahan sampah rumah tangga menjadi pupuk organik yang dapat berkontribusi dalam pertanian berkelanjutan. Ecopreneurship Pesantren Inovasi Pengolahan Sabut Kelapa Menjadi Green Product Cocopeat

Abstract: Coconut fiber or coir is the outer part of the coconut fruit that is often considered as waste after the meat and water are extracted. Without proper processing, discarded coconut fibers will accumulate in the surrounding… g environment and creating a number of environmental problems. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of the students through training in processing coconut fiber waste into cocopeat using a chopping machine. This cocopeat product can be used as an organic planting medium. This training was held at the Al Mimbar boarding school in Jombang, East Java, which can create an alternative source of income for the boarding school and foster environmental awareness among students. The methods used in this training include socialization and hands-on practice in making cocopeat. The results of this activity show that the students are increasingly aware of the environment, are able to process coconut fiber waste into quality cocopeat, and understand the economic value of the product as well as the market potential that can be utilized by the pesantren to get additional sources of funding from the sales of cocopeat. Thus, this program can be the first step for pesantren in developing sustainable environment-based businesses, as well as making a positive contribution to improving the local economy. Keywords: ecopreneurship; coconut fiber; cocopeat   Abstrak: Serabut kelapa atau sabut kelapa adalah bagian luar dari buah kelapa yang sering dianggap sebagai limbah setelah diambil daging dan airnya. Tanpa pengolahan yang tepat, serabut kelapa dibuang akan menumpuk di lingkungan sekitar sehingga menciptakan sejumlah masalah lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para santri melalui pelatihan pengolahan limbah serabut kelapa menjadi cocopeat dengan menggunakan mesin pencacah. Produk cocopeat ini dapat digunakan sebagai media tanam organik. Pelatihan ini diselenggarakan di pondok pesantren Al Mimbar Jombang Jawa Timur yang dapat menciptakan sumber pendapatan alternatif bagi pesantren dan menumbuhkan kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan santri. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini meliputi sosialisasi dan praktek langsung pembuatan cocopeat. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa para santri semakin sadar akan lingkungan, mampu mengolah limbah serabut kelapa menjadi cocopeat berkualitas, dan memahami nilai ekonomis dari produk tersebut serta potensi pasar yang dapat dimanfaatkan pesantren mendapatkan tambahan sumber pendanaan dari pendapat penjualan cocopeat. Dengan demikian, program ini dapat menjadi langkah awal bagi pesantren dalam mengembangkan usaha berbasis lingkungan yang berkelanjutan, serta memberikan kontribusi positif bagi peningkatan perekonomian lokal. Edukasi Pengelolaan Sampah Organik Dan Anorganik Bagi Masyarakat Dan Anak Sekolah Dasar Di Desa Buruan

A waste management system that utilizes vacant land is an option because of the unavailability of waste management methods. Penggunaan Teknologi E-Commerce Dan Pelatihan Fotografi Untuk Meningkatkan Pemasaran Produk Kelompok Mama Romi

This PKM activity can help independent partners in the process of developing ICT-based product promotions to the wider community, thereby creating new benefits that have an impact on increasing income. Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Dengan Budidaya Maggot Dan Pupuk Kasgot Untuk Meningkatkan Nilai Guna Sampah Organik Rumah Tangga

Abstract: The purpose of this Community Partnership Empowerment (PKM) activity is to increase partner knowledge in reducing household organic waste by cultivating maggot as an alternative feed and the application of kasgot which can… an be used as planting media and organic fertilizer. The partner's problem is that the partner's knowledge is low in processing organic waste; poultry feed and fertilizers commonly used by partners are very expensive. The method used in overcoming the problem is socialization with lectures and discussions to increase understanding of the role of maggot in reducing household organic waste, can be used as animal feed and kasgot as a planting medium and organic fertilizer; as well as direct practice of maggot cultivation and making organic fertilizer with kasgot raw materials. The conclusion from the results of these activities is that the PKM activity partner participants have seen an increase in partner understanding of the role of maggot in reducing household organic waste and other benefits it produces after socialization (with lectures and question and answer discussions) and partners understand how to cultivate maggot and make organic fertilizer with kasgot raw materials. Keywords: kasgot; maggot; household organic waste.   Abstrak: Tujuan dari kegiatan kegiatan Pemberdayaan Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini yaitu untuk menambah pengetahuan mitra dalam mengurangi sampah organik rumah tangga dengan budidaya maggot sebagai pakan alternatif serta aplikasi kasgot yang dapat dijadikan media tanam dan pupuk organik. Permasalahan mitra adalah pengetahuan mitra rendah dalam pengolahan sampah organik; pakan ternak unggas dan pupuk yang biasa digunakan mitra harganya sangat mahal. Metode yang dilakukan dalam mengatasi masalah yaitu dengan sosialisasi dengan ceramah dan diskusi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang peran maggot dalam mengurangi sampah organik rumah tangga, dapat dijadikan pakan ternak serta kasgot sebagai media tanam dan pupuk organik; serta praktek langsung budidaya maggot dan pembuatan pupuk organik dengan bahan baku kasgot. Kesimpulan dari hasil kegiatan tersebut bahwa peserta mitra kegiatan PKM terlihat adanya peningkatan pemahaman mitra tentang peran maggot dalam mengurangi sampah organik rumah tangga serta manfaat lain yang dihasilkannya setelah dilakukan sosialisasi (dengan ceramah dan diskusi tanya jawab) dan mitra memahami cara budidaya maggot serta pembuatan pupuk organik dengan bahan baku kasgot. Pemberdayaan Ibu-Ibu Kader Surabaya Hebat Dalam Pemilahan Sampah Anorganik Bernilai Ekonomis Di Kampung Pulosari

Abstract: Plastic waste can cause pollution. Plastic pollution can contaminate land, waterways and oceans. This condition is also a problem in one of the Pulosari villages located in the South Surabaya area. Lack of knowledge and… awareness to sort waste makes this village a problem to be solved in the Community Partnership Program conducted in this village. The implementation of the community partnership program is carried out using training methods to increase partners' knowledge and mentoring methods to improve skills in inorganic waste segregation. The result of implementing the Community Partnership Program is community knowledge and understanding of the importance of waste segregation. Another result is the increase in partners' skills in sorting inorganic waste so that it has economic value which in the end is able to provide additional family income and PKK cash sourced from selling the results of inorganic waste sorting.            Keywords: great Surabaya cadre; waste sorting; inorganic waste    Abstrak: Sampah plastik dapat menimbulkan polusi. Polusi plastik dapat mencemari tanah, saluran air dan lautan.  Kondisi ini juga menjadi permasalahan di salah satu kampung Pulosari yang terletak di wilayah Surabaya Selatan. Kurangnya  pengetahuan dan  kesadaran untuk melakukan pemilahan sampah, membuat kampung tersebut merupakan permasalahan yang akan diselesaikan dalam Program Kemitraan Masyarakat yang dilakukan di kampung ini. Pelaksanaan program kemitraan masyarakat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pelatihan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mitra dan metode pendampingan untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan dalam pemilahan sampah anorganik. Hasil dari pelaksanaan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat adalah pengetahuan dan pemahaman ma-syarakat akan pentingnya pemilahan sampah. One of them is the accumulation of garbage that can cause flooding.… ing. The condition of the Senganan Village area which is in the highlands causes high rainfall in the area. To minimize the occurrence of flooding in the Senganan Village Area, the community must start managing the waste they produce by sorting the waste first. Such as organic waste that can be converted into compost which is useful for fertilizing plants. The general objective of this research is to find out how to overcome the accumulation of organic waste in Senganan Village to minimize the occurrence of flood disasters. The research method that we use in this report is the method of observation and socialization. Based on field observations, many people do not know about biopore technology as an alternative in minimizing flooding and helping reduce the burden of organic waste originating from households. We carried out socialization related to biopore technology and immediately implemented it at the Senganan Village office page. Key words : Organic waste, Biopore Infiltration Hole, Flood, Compost Abstrak : Kondisi pengelolaan sampah di Desa Senganan belum terkelola dengan baik. Sampah tersebut dapat menumpuk dan menyebabkan terjadinya pencemaran lingkungan. Salah satunya penumpukan sampah yang dapat menyebabkan bencana banjir. Kondisi wilayah Desa Senganan yang berada di dataran tinggi menyebabkan curah hujan yang tinggi di Kawasan tersebut. Untuk meminimalisir terjadinya banjir di Kawasan Desa Senganan, masyarakat harus mulai mengelola sampah yang mereka hasilkan dengan cara memilah sampah terlebih dahulu. Seperti sampah organik yang dapat diubah menjadi pupuk kompos yang berguna untuk menyuburkan tanaman. Tujuan umum pada kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengetahui cara menanggulangi penumpukan sampah organik di Desa Senganan, serta meminimalisir terjadinya bencana banjir. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan dalam pemecahan masalah tersebut adalah pemasangan lubang biopori. Berdasarkan observasi lapangan, banyak masyarakat yang belum mengetahui teknologi biopori sebagai alternatif dalam meminimalisir terjadinya banjir dan membantu mengurangi beban sampah organik yang berasal dari rumah tangga. Kegiatan ini dengan menggunakan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan berkesinambungan sehingga tercapai target dari solusi yang ditawarkan. Selama kegiatan berlangsung peserta mengikuti sangat antusian dan berkomitmen untuk mengembangkan produksi pupuk organik dari limbah cair tahu mejadi usaha sampingan dan produk unggulan desa. The Effect Of Giving Manure Type Growth Regulators On The Vegetative Phase Of Chili Plants (Capsicum Frutescens)

Abstract: Cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) is a horticultural commodity with high economic value and continuously increasing market demand. The success of cayenne pepper production is largely determined by vegetative growth… in the early stages, which is influenced by the availability of nutrients and plant growth regulators. The use of manure as a source of organic matter and natural Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) is expected to enhance vegetative growth. This study aimed to determine the effect of manure application and natural PGRs on the vegetative growth of cayenne pepper and to identify the treatment that produces the best growth.The research was conducted from December to January 2026 at the land of the Kopbun Suka Tani Sejahtera Business Research Center, Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency. The study used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with a 4 × 3 pattern and three replications. The first factor was the dosage of manure consisting of 0 kg (control), 1 kg, 1.5 kg, and 2 kg per plant. The second factor was the type of natural PGR, consisting of shallot extract, rice water, and coconut water. The observed parameters included plant height, number of leaves, leaf width, and number of branches at 15, 30, and 45 days after planting (DAP). Data were analyzed using the F-test and continued with the Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) test at a 5% significance level if the results were significant.The results showed that manure application had no significant effect on all vegetative growth parameters up to 45 DAP. The application of natural PGRs also showed no significant effect at 15, 30, and 45 DAP, as well as on other parameters. There was no significant interaction between manure and natural PGRs on all observed parameters.

Benefits of Using Organic Fertilizer for Soil Fertility

The results of this research is that in the current era of globalization, organic is very important for the development of people who want to live healthily and without damaging the surrounding environment by utilizing natural materials or the remnants of kitchen waste. So farmers are expected to be more aware and creative in the use of organic fertilizers and it is hoped that farmers' income will also increase.
