The Role of Pricing in Increasing Customer Satisfaction: Analysis of The Barbershop Services Industry in Makassar City

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the role of price in increasing customer satisfaction in the barbershop service industry in Makassar City. The barbershop services industry has grown rapidly in recent years, and competition… between service providers has become increasingly fierce. One factor that influences customer decisions is the price offered by the service provider. Therefore, this research aims to explore how price can influence customer satisfaction in the barbershop context. This research uses a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to barbershop customers in Makassar City. Data processing was carried out using regression analysis to identify the relationship between price and customer satisfaction. The research results show that price has a significant influence on customer satisfaction in the barbershop service industry. These findings indicate that barbershop service providers need to consider appropriate pricing strategies to increase customer satisfaction. Competitive prices and in line with the quality of services offered can provide added value for customers. Apart from that, this research also shows that there are other factors that can influence customer satisfaction, such as service quality, barbershop environment, and overall customer experience. This research contributes to the understanding of the role of price in increasing customer satisfaction in the barbershop service industry. The results of this research can be a reference for barbershop service providers in developing effective marketing strategies to increase customer satisfaction and maintain competitiveness in a competitive market.

Analysis of The Income Statement in The Room Department of The Harper Perintis Makassar Hotel by Aston in 2020-2022

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the Income Statement of the Room Department at Harper Perintis Makassar By Aston Hotel in the 2020-2022 time span. The hospitality industry plays an important role in the tourism industry and the… he economy of a region. The existence of hotels not only provides a significant economic impact through income and employment for local communities, but also has a social impact by improving living standards and social conditions. The results of this study indicate that although Harper Perintis Makassar By Aston Hotel offers various additional facilities such as swimming pools, restaurants, massage services, and others, room types such as Superior Room and Deluxe Room continue to contribute significant departmental profits. However, there was a decrease in the Room Department's profit and loss at the end of 2017 due to room renovations and new facilities, as well as in 2019 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic which resulted in a decrease in guest visits. This study uses quantitative research methods with a positivism approach. Primary data was obtained from the financial statements of the Rooms Department of Harper Perintis Makassar By Aston Hotel for 2020-2022. Data collection techniques involved field research with observation, direct interviews, and documentation.

Results indicate that a solid corporate image significantly and positively influences customer trust. This trust is crucial in boosting customer loyalty towards Islamic banking services. Highlighting the importance of corporate image, the study reveals its role as a cornerstone in building and reinforcing customer trust, which is crucial for fostering long-term customer relationships. The research provides strategic insights for Islamic banks in Eastern Indonesia, suggesting that a focus on enhancing corporate image and trust can lead to increased customer loyalty. This contribution enriches the understanding of loyalty dynamics within the Islamic banking sector, underscoring the significance of trust and corporate image in the unique market context of Eastern Indonesia.

LandX is an organizer registered with ALUDI which already has OJK permission. The average level of funds collected by LandX for each project is up to 4 billion. The population in this study is 88,572 investors who have registered with LandX as of December 2022. The sample was taken using purposive sampling. The method used is Willingness to Pay (WTP) Analysis using Conditional Valuation Method (CVM). As a result, the average I WTP is IDR 5,788.46 per month and the total IWTP is IDR 5,788.46 per month. 1,724,961.54 per month. The annual economic value of this urinary tract in Rangomali village is IDR 20,699,538.5. Governments are expected to implement payment of environmental services for water use and modernization of source management.

Value Chain Model in Zakat Management at Makassar City National Amil Zakat Agency

Data collection in research is by documentation, observation and interviews. The analysis technique used is descriptive method of value chain model analysis. The results showed that value chain model application can describe the activities carried out and increase the BAZNAS Makassar City value added. Primary activities consisting of zakat receipts, management functions application, zakat distribution, distribution and services. Furthermore secondary activities consist of administration, technology development, human resources management, and institutional facilities.

Development of an Integrated Hybrid (Manual-Digital) Electronic Medical Record System at Damai Clinic

Abstract: The advancement of information technology has accelerated digital transformation in healthcare, particularly through the implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). However, many healthcare facilities still use… hybrid systems that combine manual and digital record-keeping without proper integration, resulting in inefficient patient data management. This study aims to develop an integrated hybrid Electronic Medical Record system at Damai Clinic to improve healthcare services and patient data management. A descriptive research method with a system development approach was employed through system analysis, problem identification, and system design. The results indicate that the proposed system successfully integrates patient registration, medical examination, pharmacy services, payment, and reporting into a single system. The hybrid implementation allows paper-based records to remain as supporting archives while electronic records become the primary source of patient information. The developed system is expected to improve service efficiency, reduce documentation errors, enhance data security, and support digital transformation in healthcare facilities.

HEALTH TECHNOLOGY AND COMMUNICATION SYNERGY FOR COMMUNITY WELL-BEING IN TIMOR LESTE

Abstract: This international community service program aims to improve community welfare through the synergy of health technology and effective communication strategies in Timor Leste. The program was motivated by limited access to… o health services, low health literacy, and contextual challenges in health communication within the community. The implementation methods included health education, training on the use of simple health technologies, community mentoring, and strengthening culturally based health communication. The activities were conducted collaboratively by involving local health workers, community members, students, and lecturers as part of international cooperation. The results indicate an improvement in community understanding of basic health pravtices, more optimal use of health technology, and increased active participation in maintaining personal and community health. In addition, the establishment of international collaboration networks supported the exchange of knowledge and best practices. The evaluation shows that an integrative and participatory approach was effective in supporting program sustainability, despite challenges related to infrastructure limitations and digital literacy. Overall, this community service program contributes significantly to enhancing health literacy and community welfare and can serve as a model for international community engagement based on health technology and communication.

PENINGKATAN LITERASI KEUANGAN SYARIAH DI DESA SENDANG MELALUI DIGITALISASI: PELUANG DAN TANTANGAN DI ERA MODERN

Abstract: Sharia financial literacy has become important with the development of digital financial services and the increasing need for financial management in accordance with sharia principles. However, the understanding of rural… communities regarding digital-based sharia finance is still limited. This community service activity aims to improve Islamic financial literacy in Sendang Village through a digital approach. The methods used include face-to-face and online education, assistance in using Islamic financial applications, and interactive discussions on the opportunities and risks of digital finance. The results of the activity showed that community participation reached 75% with an increase in understanding of Islamic finance products and principles of 60%. However, challenges such as the digital divide and the risk of online fraud were still found. Overall, this activity shows that digitalization is effective in increasing Islamic financial literacy when supported by continuous education and the active role of the government and Islamic financial institutions in creating a safe and inclusive ecosystem.
