Abstract:This study aimed to analyze the response of several cayenne pepper varieties (Capsicum frutescens L.) on the growth and yield of cayenne pepper cultivated in the cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) alley cropping system. The research…
arch was conducted from April to July 2025 at Mon Jambe Village, Jeumpa District, and the Kopbun Suka Tani Sejahtera Business Research Center, Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency. The experiment employed a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with four varieties as treatments and three replications, resulting in 12 experimental units. The tested varieties were Rajo, Genie, Bara, and Tetra Hijau. Data were collected through observations of plant height, number of leaves, number of fruits, fruit weight, and fresh biomass weight, and were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) to determine differences among treatments. The results showed that the varietal factor had a highly significant effect on leaf number and a significant effect on fruit number and fruit weight. The Bara variety exhibited the most adaptive and productive performance under the cocoa alley cropping system, as indicated by superior vegetative growth and yield compared to other varieties. The novelty of this study lies in emphasizing that varietal selection is a key factor in optimizing the utilization of cocoa alley spaces for cayenne pepper cultivation. These findings are expected to provide a scientific basis for developing cayenne pepper cultivation technologies in cocoa alley systems and to serve as a reference for further research on adaptive variety development under such environmental conditions.
Abstract:The discourse on casino legalization in Indonesia arises as a response to the widespread illegal gambling that remains difficult to eradicate despite being prohibited under the Criminal Code (KUHP), Law No. 7 of 1974, and…
d the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE). The gap between legal norms (das sollen) and social reality (das sein) shows that prohibition alone has not been effective. This research uses a qualitative method with a normative juridical approach based on legislation and a comparative approach, particularly examining Malaysia and Singapore, which have successfully managed casinos through strict regulations. The findings indicate that casino legalization in Indonesia could serve as an alternative fiscal policy, provided that clear regulations are established, ensuring economic benefits such as increased state revenue and effective control over illegal gambling, without undermining national morals and values.
Abstract:This study aims to construct an integrated constellation model and determine optimal strategies for reinforcing lecturers’ professional commitment at leading private universities in Bogor. Utilizing the POP-SDM (Modeling…
ng and Optimization of Management Resources) framework, the research integrates elements of local wisdom and organizational support within a systemic approach to human resource development. The exploratory qualitative phase involved in-depth interviews and focus group discussions to uncover major determinants influencing professional commitment. From the thematic analysis, four principal variables emerged—teamwork, organizational climate, religiosity, and work motivation—which were validated through expert judgment. Quantitative verification was subsequently performed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique to examine both direct and indirect relationships among constructs. The analysis confirmed that all variables exert positive and significant effects on lecturers’ professional commitment, with work motivation being the most dominant factor. To refine improvement priorities, the SITOREM (Scientific Identification Theory for Conducting Operational Research in Educational Management) method was applied, identifying indicators that should be improved, maintained, or further developed. The findings offer empirical and practical insights, including: (1) a validated POP-SDM–based commitment model combining cultural and organizational dimensions; (2) evidence-based strategies to enhance lecturer professionalism; and (3) an optimization framework to guide sustainable lecturer development in higher education institutions.
Abstract:This study examines the influence of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), focusing on Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) and Perceived Usefulness (PU), on users’ Behavioral Intention (BI) to adopt and continue using M-Din, a…
a Sharia-based mobile banking application at Bank Muamalat in West Java. Employing a quantitative survey of 100 active M-Din users, data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that PEOU significantly affects PU, and both PEOU and PU significantly influence BI; additionally, PU partially mediates the effect of PEOU on BI. This research contributes to the digital banking literature by reaffirming TAM constructs within an Islamic finance context and offers practical recommendations for optimizing Sharia-compliant mobile banking strategies. Implications for enhancing user interface design and promoting key features to boost adoption are discussed.
Abstract:The integration of digitalization and Management Information Systems (MIS) has profoundly enhanced human resource efficiency, service quality, and operational effectiveness at Klinik Pratama Bunda Sarini. This study explores…
ores the role of MIS in optimizing workforce management and improving patient-centered care, highlighting both its advantages and the challenges encountered during implementation. Researchers employed a qualitative case study approach, utilizing semi-structured interviews and document analysis to examine HR professionals' experiences with digital transformation. The findings indicate that MIS has streamlined administrative workflows, reduced clerical inefficiencies, and improved real-time data accessibility, facilitating faster decision-making and higher patient satisfaction. However, workforce resistance, digital literacy limitations, and data security concerns created obstacles in the transition process. Structured HR-led training programs and phased implementation strategies effectively addressed these challenges. The study underscores the importance of sustained investment in workforce development, cybersecurity measures, and digital infrastructure to support long-term healthcare digitalization. Future research should evaluate the long-term impact of digital adoption in small-scale healthcare institutions.
Abstract:This study aims to examine the relationship between employee training and development programs and customer satisfaction levels within the hospitality sector, with a particular focus on MaxOne Hotels in Makassar. Employing…
ng a mixed-methods approach, the research integrates employee surveys, customer feedback, and performance metric analysis to assess the influence of training programs on service quality and customer experiences. The findings reveal that employee training and development variables account for only 1.4% of the variance in customer satisfaction, with the remaining 98.6% influenced by other factors. Nevertheless, well-structured training program designs were shown to significantly enhance employees' critical thinking, communication, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, technology-based training demonstrates substantial potential for improving service efficiency and facilitating adaptation to operational innovations. In conclusion, while the direct impact of training on customer satisfaction is relatively minor, thoughtfully designed training programs remain essential for delivering high-quality customer experiences and sustaining competitiveness in the industry. This research offers valuable insights into strategies for optimizing training effectiveness in the hospitality sector.
