Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Augmented Reality pada Materi Pengenalan Perangkat Lunak Kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 4 Singkawang

Abstract: The objective of this study is to create augmented reality educational tools for teaching software introduction topics at Singkawang 4 State Middle School. Evaluating the viability and user reception of educational content… nt delivered through augmented reality technology. Methods of data collection involving interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique employs descriptive statistics. The ADDIE paradigm is employed in the research and development process. This learning media is developed through a sequential process consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The participants in this study were eighth-grade students from Singkawang 4 State Middle School. The product feasibility testing step was conducted by a pair of media specialists and one material specialist. The research findings indicated that the feasibility evaluation conducted by media specialists obtained a score of 155 out of a total possible score of 168, placing it in the “very feasible” category. The examination conducted by material experts achieved a score of 71 out of a possible 80, placing it in the “very feasible” category. The mean score attained from the extensive evaluation of 33 eighth-grade students at Singkawang State Middle School 4 was 2550 out of a possible maximum score of 3036. The assessment categorized the score as “highly appropriate” for utilization as a learning tool.

Fenomena Thrifting di Pasar Loak Jembatan Item Jatinegara

Abstract: The phenomenon of thrifting at Pasar Loak Jembatan Item Jatinegara demonstrates the continuity and evolution of frugal shopping practices involving the purchase of second-hand items. This research delineates the long history… tory of thrifting, from the medieval period to the emergence of organizations such as Salvation Army and Goodwill that popularized it in the 19th century. The COVID-19 pandemic has reignited interest in thrifting due to economic pressures prompting people to save on expenses. The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive, utilizing in-depth interviews and direct observations at Pasar Loak Jembatan Item Jatinegara. The findings reveal that traders employ two main strategies: selling directly at the market and through online platforms. Meanwhile, consumers have diverse motivations, ranging from meeting household needs to a desire to collect unique and antique items. Analysis of Alfred Schutz’s phenomenological theory is used to understand the reasons and goals behind consumer’s choices in thrifting. The researcher finds that each individual has different motives, such as goal motives (In order to motive) and because motives (Because motive), underlying their decisions to engage in thrifting. The conclusion of this research is that the phenomenon of thrifting at Pasar Loak Jembatan Item Jatinegara reflects the evolving and relevant dynamics of consumer culture, adapting to social and economic changes. With the evolution of this practice, the second-hand market becomes a favorite place for people to find affordable items, while traders and consumers continue to adapt to technological advancements and changes in the economic landscape. This study provides valuable insights into how thrifting is not just an economic phenomenon but also reflects the identity and preferences of consumers in a constantly changing shopping culture.

Abstract: Self-reward is used as a sign of appreciation and reward for individuals for the efforts that have been passed before. High school kids' self-rewarding can play a significant part in piquing their interest in learning. Giving… iving appreciation to oneself or doing self-reward needs to be done by some students because by doing self-reward students can give appreciation for the endeavors undertaken and feel happy to be able to maintain mental health. This research uses the literature review research method. This study adopts a qualitative methodology, as well as the methods for data analysis used are those that include content analysis. This research is also used in three actions: data gathering, reducing, presenting, and making conclusions. This investigation concludes that the use of the self-reward strategy is important for students to develop learning achievement. Additionally, self-reward can foster learning motivation among students.

The Influence of Organizational Culture, Principal Leadership and Work Motivation to Teacher Commitment at SMPN Kepulauan Riau

Abstract: Abstract In schools, up to now there are still symptoms of problems related to organizational culture, principal leadership and work motivation with teacher commitment, so that in the aspect of teacher hard work it is still… till in the sufficient category and needs improvement. It is necessary to examine the influence of organizational culture, principal leadership and work motivation on teacher commitment. This research aims to examine the direct and indirect influence of organizational culture, principal leadership, and work motivation to teacher commitment at SMPN Kepulauan Riau. This research is research with an associative quantitative approach with a survey design taking the location of SMPN Kepulauan Riau. The population in this study was 801 teachers with civil servant status and the sample was 80 teachers. The results of the analysis show that there is a simultaneous direct influence between organizational culture, principal leadership and work motivation to teacher commitment at SMPN Kepulauan Riau with a multiple correlation coefficient of (0.460) with a contribution of (73.96%). The conclusion is that organizational culture, principal leadership and teacher work motivation partially or simultaneously influence teacher commitment. The implication is that the better the organizational culture, principal leadership and work motivation, the higher the teacher commitment at SMPN Kepulauan Riau.

Pentingnya Konservasi Preventif Pada Benda-Benda Koleksi di Museum Kasunanan Keraton Surakarta

Abstract: Surakarta Kasunanan Palace Museum is a private museum which contains the Palace's private collections. Many of them are now damaged, dusty, and even destroyed by age. Preventive conservation is used to prevent and minimize… ze damage to museum collections. This research aims to discuss damage to museum collections and preventive conservation management that has been taking place at the Surakarta Kasunanan Palace Museum. Method used in this research is descriptive with kualitatif aproach method with interviews, observation and literature studies to collect data and use simple analysis. The results found that many collections in the Surakarta Kasunanan Palace Museum were unkempt and dusty. The preventive conservation carried out so far has only been less than optimal in terms of cleaning. The lack of available resources is also a factor in preventing preventive conservation efforts from running well.

Abstract: Skincare that focuses solely on the physical aspects often ignores the emotional impact that can significantly affect skin health. This review aims to examine the importance of psychodermatology in skincare, focusing on… understanding the link between emotions and skin health. The study adopted a library research method focusing on integrative and comprehensive literature analysis to explore the interrelationship between psychodermatology and skincare. The results revealed that psychodermatology is crucial in detailing and addressing the dynamics of skin health and emotions. Involving the psychological dimension in skincare is a response to skin problems and a preventive measure that can positively impact an individual's skin and mental health. The findings highlight the influence of stress and emotions on skin health as a critical focus, as stress and emotional tension can trigger inflammatory responses that significantly affect skin conditions. Meanwhile, psychological interventions in skincare are emerging as innovative solutions that offer therapeutic approaches to help individuals manage stress, anxiety and self-image issues that may arise from skin conditions. Furthermore, the role of psychosocial factors in skin care confirms the importance of integrating self-image, appearance perception, and emotional support in designing treatment programs that focus on sustainability and overall well-being. Future studies should focus on identifying stressors that affect skin health and developing effective psychodermatology therapies for holistic skin care.

Analysis of Employee Loyalty with Job Satisfaction as Intervening Variable

Abstract: The objective of this study is to examine the influence of factors such as work motivation, salary, work environment, and career development on employee loyalty. It also explores the role of employee job satisfaction as… a mediator in this relationship. The research will be conducted at 9 coffee shops located in Semarang City. The population involved in this study consists of all employees working at 9 coffee shops in Semarang City. The sample used comprises 98 individuals who have been working for more than 1 year. Data analysis in this study was conducted using the SmartPLS 3.0 software. Testing hypotheses using the PLS method. The findings indicated that the job satisfaction of coffee shop workers in Semarang City was impacted by factors such as motivation, salary, work environment, and career growth. Enhanced work drive and remuneration will lead to heightened job contentment. Similarly, an improved work environment and opportunities for professional growth would enhance employee job satisfaction. One thing that affects loyalty is job satisfaction. This suggests that when job satisfaction grows, employee loyalty also increases. Job satisfaction acts as a mediator between salary and loyalty, work environment and loyalty, and career development and loyalty. However, it does not act as an intermediary between work motivation and loyalty.

Dampak Virtual Reality terhadap Identitas Individu dalam Novel Ready Player One Karya Ernest Cline

Abstract: Ernest Cline's novel Ready Player One depicts the impact of Virtual Reality (VR) on individual identity. The aim of this research is to analyze how VR is constructed as a space for testing individual identity in the novel… l Ready Player One. This research uses qualitative methods with a discourse analytic approach to examine how virtual identities are constructed in novels. Research data was obtained through novel analysis. Analysis was carried out by re-reading the novel and noting each scene that symbolized virtual identity. The research results show that Virtual Reality can be a place for individuals to experiment with their identity. In this novel, the main character Wade Watts uses an Avatar named Parzival to take part in a competition in the OASIS, a virtual world created by James Halliday. Wade chose this Avatar because he wanted to be a brave and strong figure, different from his true identity in the real world. Virtual Reality can have both positive and negative impacts on an individual's identity. On the one hand, Virtual Reality can be a place for individuals to experiment with their identity and find a more authentic identity. On the other hand, Virtual Reality can also influence individual identity by creating false and unrealistic virtual identities.

Abstract: Livestock agribusiness is an integral part of agricultural development as a subsector that fulfills society's animal protein needs. This research was carried out at the Goatday Farm located in Seyegan District, Sleman Regency… gency on June 22 - August 20, 2023. This research aims to analyze the upstream-to-downstream agribusiness system of the Goatday farm, analyze the strategies that Goatday has implemented, and analyze the strategies that Goatday can implement in the future. The data sources in this research were obtained from key informants and follow-up informants. The key informant in this research is Mr. Muhammad Farid Akrom the owner of the Goatday farm, while further informants are Mr. Ahmad Fauzi and Mr. Hendri the person in charge of the Goatday farm, and Mr. Hermawan the partner of the Goatday breeder. The analysis used is descriptive analysis, Business Model Canvas (BMC), and SWOT analysis. The result of this research was that Goatday has implemented an agribusiness system on its farms that is integrated. Goatday has also implemented partnerships and has a well-systemized farm. Based on the SWOT analysis, the strategy that Goatday can implement in the future is to create an education-based farm and provide more training to staff and partners regarding efficient maintenance management.

Faktor yang Memengaruhi Penerapan Protokol Kesehatan di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 pada Pengunjung RSUD Tanjung Pura

Abstract: Health development in Indonesia generally aims to increase awareness, ability and willingness to live healthily for every resident in order to achieve the highest level of health, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.… The aim of this research is to determine the influence of knowledge, attitudes and support from health workers on the implementation of health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic among visitors at Tanjung Pura Hospital, Langkat Regency. The method in this research uses an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. The research population was all visitors to Tanjung Pura Regional Hospital in October 2022 with a total sample of 96 people using the Accidental Sampling technique. The data collected was obtained by interviews using a questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis. The results of the study showed that knowledge was poor as much as 57.3%, positive attitude was 56.3%, support from health workers was poor as much as 53.1%. The results of bivariate analysis show that the knowledge variable is 0.000, attitude is 0.001, support from health workers is 0.001. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the variables of knowledge, attitudes and support of health workers on the implementation of health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is recommended that hospitals implement strict health protocol checks, such as carrying out checks at hospital entrances, making regulations regarding health protocol raids, and imposing sanctions for those who do not comply with health protocols.
