THE EFFECT OF PHET-ASSISTED JIGSAW TYPE COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL ON STUDENTS' LEARNING OUTCOMES INPRIVATE HIGH SCHOOL GRADE XI WAVE MATERIALGAJAH MADA MEDAN 2022/2023 Academic Year

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the broad impact of the use of the Jigsaw cooperative mastery model assisted by PheT on the results of students' attention recognition on the greatness of XI SMA Gajah Mada Medan&#8230; Academic Year 2022/2023. The form of this research is a quasi-experimental research. The population of this study was all students of class XI MIPA at SMA Swasta Gajah Mada Medan Academic Year 2022/2023. The sample in this study was taken using cluster random sampling, namely the experimental class of 30 students implemented to the Jigsaw cooperative mastery model assisted by PhET and the control class of 28 students implemented to the DI version. This observation tool uses an essay test with ten proven questions used in this study. The average pre-test score of the experimental class is 32.89 with a normal deviation of 2.99 and the average post-test score is 84.33 with a normal deviation of 2.72. These figures are based entirely on research findings. The suggested pretest ratings and desired deviations for the manipulation style were 35.44 and 3.82, respectively , and the intended posttest ratings were 71.33 and 5.93. Lcount Ltable was accepted for each instruction with a daily distribution, even as Fcount obtained Ftable for homogeneous elegance. The results of the statistical test (t-party test ) and dk 56 found that the initial abilities of the 2 lessons were the same because tcount < ttable, or -0.84 1.94, is true. Furthermore, exclusive treatment has been applied to 2 lessons and towards the end of the lesson a publication test was given. THE EFFECT OF THE PROJECT BASED LEARNING MODEL USED BY CANVA ON THE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF GRADE X MIA STUDENTS OF SMA PARULIAN 2 MEDANACADEMIC YEAR 2023/2024

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Canva Assisted Mission Based Learning Version on students' Physics learning outcomes on the Measurement material of class X Semester I of SMA Parulian 2 Medan in the&#8230; he 2023/2024 Academic Year. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study. The population of this study was all students of class X MIA semester I of SMA Parulian 2 Medan which includes 2 subjects with a total of 30 students. Sampling was carried out by General Sampling where the number of samples was equal to the number of populations, so that the sample in this test changed to 15 students of class X MIA 1 as an experimental model, who were taught to use Canva. Assisted efforts based on the purchase of model information and 15 students of sophistication X MIA 2. as beauty manipulation were taught with a direct introduction model assisted with Canva. The research device used a multiple-desire view at along with 14 items with five choices (a, b, c, d, and e) which had been tested beforehand to determine the validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and item differentiation. Before examining the hypothesis, the normality and homogeneity of the records were checked first. The results show that the general pretest score for the test is 43.20 with a complete deviation of 8.23 and for the ordinary one is forty-two.75 with a standard deviation of seven, sixty-four. For preliminary competency tcount = 0.329 and ttable = 2.05. shows that tcount < ttable, then the initial talent of both classes is identical. After getting knowledge about ending, the post-test changed to finished for both lessons and the average trial cost changed to 80.79 with an average difference of 8.68 while for the elegance of manipulation the publication test cost became 72.67 with a current deviation of 8.15. Based on the pre-test homogeneity test, it was obtained Fcount = 1.162 along with Ftable = 2.48. because Fcount (1.162) < Ftable (2.48), then the pretest research fact turned out to be homogeneous, then the publish-check homogeneity test obtained Fcount = 1.213 along with Ftable = 2.48. because Fcount (1.213) < Ftable (2.48) then the post-test research data is homogeneous, then the statistical test (one-tailed t-test) obtained tcount = 2.67 and ttable = 1.70 at a significance level of α = 0.05, with dk as much as 28. Because tcount > ttable, being unique (2.67 > 1.70), this indicates that there may be a very large effect of the Canva Assisted learning-based task version on Physics students gaining knowledge about the results in the problem of interweaving of sophistication X Semester I personal strengths of the Parulian 2 Medan faculty in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Pengembangan Model Pendampingan Berbasis Project Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris Di SDN 15 Padang Genting

Abstract: Abstrak Project-Based Learning (PBL) merupakan pendekatan inovatif yang mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di sekolah dasar melalui aktivitas kolaboratif dan berbasis proyek. Namun, guru di SDN 15 Padang&#8230; dang Genting masih mengalami kendala dalam menyusun modul ajar, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), serta mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berbasis proyek secara efektif. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mengembangkan model pendampingan berbasis Project-Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, pelatihan, pendampingan implementasi di kelas, praktik penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran, dan evaluasi reflektif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa model pendampingan yang diterapkan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun modul ajar dan RPP berbasis proyek dengan capaian sebesar 89,3% pada kategori sangat baik. Selain itu, guru menjadi lebih aktif, kreatif, dan mampu melibatkan siswa dalam pembelajaran yang komunikatif dan kolaboratif. Dengan demikian, model pendampingan berbasis Project-Based Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di SDN 15 Padang Genting.   Project-Based Learning (PBL) is an innovative approach that can improve the quality of English language learning in elementary schools through collaborative and project-oriented activities. However, teachers at SDN 15 Padang Genting still face difficulties in developing teaching modules, lesson plans, and implementing project-based learning effectively. This community service activity aimed to develop a mentoring model based on Project-Based Learning to improve teachers’ competence in English language teaching. The methods used included needs analysis, teacher training, classroom mentoring, practical implementation of learning tools, and reflective evaluation. The stages of the activity consisted of identifying teachers’ needs, designing the mentoring model, conducting training sessions, assisting classroom implementation, and evaluating the outcomes. The results showed that the mentoring model improved teachers’ ability to develop project-based teaching modules and lesson plans, achieving a score of 89.3% in the very good category. In addition, teachers became more active and creative in engaging students in collaborative and communicative learning activities. Therefore, the Project-Based Learning mentoring model was effective in improving the quality of English language learning at SDN 15 Padang Genting.

Shariah Fintech And Islamic Economic Sustainability: An Integrative Analysis Between Technology And Maqasid Al-Syari'ah

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of innovation and technology in strengthening the Islamic finance ecosystem in the digital era. The research employs a qualitative-descriptive approach through a literature-based analysis&#8230; sis integrating technology adoption theories (TAM, UTAUT, DOI) and the principles of maqaṣid al-shari’ah as the theoretical foundation. The findings reveal that perceived usefulness, ease of use, social influence, and infrastructural support are the key determinants influencing users’ intentions toward adopting Islamic financial technologies. Furthermore, Shariah-compliant fintech innovation driven by maqaṣid al-shari’ah enhances financial inclusion, ethical governance, and sustainable economic development. The study emphasizes that collaboration among regulators, financial institutions, and educational entities is crucial to developing adaptive regulations and strengthening digital-Shariah literacy. The main conclusion underscores the significance of aligning technological innovation with Islamic ethical principles to advance the competitiveness of the Islamic finance industry globally.

The Influence Of Academic Leadership Styles On The Quality Of Higher Education In Indonesia

Abstract: This study investigates the influence of academic leadership styles on the quality of higher education in Indonesia, focusing on permanent lecturers in public and private universities under the Ministry of Education in South&#8230; outh Sulawesi. Using a quantitative explanatory approach and survey method, data were collected from 120 respondents and analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS. The study examines three leadership styles—transformational, transactional, and distributed—and their impact on teaching quality, institutional governance, student outcomes, and academic services. The findings reveal that all three leadership styles positively affect higher education quality, with transformational leadership having the most significant impact, followed by distributed and transactional styles. These results underscore the importance of visionary and participative leadership in improving institutional performance, particularly in regional universities facing resource and structural limitations. The study contributes theoretically by validating leadership models in a non-Western context and practically by offering insights for leadership development policies. It highlights the need for adaptive leadership strategies tailored to local academic cultures and institutional dynamics to enhance educational quality in Indonesian higher education.

Strengthening Geospatial-Based Maritime Surveillance: A Case Study of Adaptation to Extreme Weather in Critical Shipping Lanes

Abstract: The Malacca Strait is a vital maritime route that faces significant challenges from high traffic volumes and increasingly frequent extreme weather scenarios. These conditions pose serious risks to navigational safety, environmental&#8230; vironmental integrity, and maritime operational security. This study aims to analyse the needs and components of a robust maritime surveillance architecture in the Malacca Strait, particularly in dealing with the impacts of extreme weather and climate change. Additionally, this research will explore the role of geospatial maritime intelligence in enhancing situational awareness and response to maritime incidents. The study findings indicate that a resilient surveillance architecture in the Malacca Strait requires the integration of advanced sensor systems (including multi-spectral radar and meteorological/oceanographic sensors), redundant communication networks, and AI/ML-based intelligent data processing. The adaptive capabilities of the system, including the use of UAVs and USVs, are critical to maintaining operational effectiveness in adverse weather conditions. Additionally, international cooperation and a robust policy framework, encompassing climate change adaptation and ethical considerations, are fundamental to the successful implementation and sustainability of surveillance systems. The Malacca Strait case study highlights specific vulnerabilities and proposes concrete solutions, illustrating a shift from a reactive to a proactive paradigm in maritime security. Building a resilient surveillance architecture in the Malacca Strait is a strategic imperative to safeguard global trade, regional stability, and environmental sustainability amid increasing climate uncertainty. Integrating cutting-edge technology with robust policies and international collaboration will ensure the safety and security of this vital waterway, making it a model for resilient maritime governance globally. A new aspect emphasised is the importance of adapting to climate change and the role of AI in predictive decision-making. This article presents a comprehensive and integrated approach to building a resilient maritime surveillance architecture, with a particular focus on the challenges of extreme weather in the Malacca Strait. Its originality lies in its emphasis on multi-sensor data fusion, the role of artificial intelligence in predictive analytics, and the integration of climate change adaptation into surveillance system design. Additionally, the article underscores the importance of a robust policy framework and international cooperation as the cornerstones of maritime surveillance resilience, offering a blueprint applicable to other critical maritime routes worldwide

CNN US and CNN Indonesia’s Textual Practice in Framing Humanitarian Narratives: A Critical Discourse Analysis

Abstract: This study examines the role of textual practice (micro-structure) in shaping humanitarian narratives in news coverage of the Israel-Palestine conflict by CNN US and CNN Indonesia. Employing Fairclough’s Critical Discourse&#8230; urse Analysis (CDA), the research identifies key linguistic features, including lexical choices, sentence structure, modality, rhetorical devices, and pronoun usage, that contribute to the ideological framing of news articles. The findings indicate that CNN US employs neutral and euphemistic language, passive constructions, and hedging devices to maintain journalistic objectivity, whereas CNN Indonesia utilizes emotionally charged language, active voice, and definitive claims to frame the conflict with a strong pro-Palestinian stance. These textual differences underscore the influence of language in constructing public perceptions of humanitarian crises.

Perceptions Of Indonesian University Of Education Academics On Corruption And Integrity Of Citizenship

Abstract: This study observes university students' perspectives on corruption and civic integrity in Indonesia through a survey of 24 active students. The survey covered aspects such as awareness of corruption, the importance of personal&#8230; ersonal integrity, and the role of students in combating corruption. The majority of respondents acknowledge the importance of integrity in daily life, demonstrate a fair understanding of corruption issues, and recognize a significant role for students in anti-corruption efforts. However, skepticism exists regarding the effectiveness of Indonesia's legal system in addressing corruption. The findings underscore the need for enhanced education on the dangers of corruption, the reinforcement of integrity values, and a call for more transparent and rigorous law enforcement.

Analisis Penerapan Balanced Scorecard Terhadap Kinerja UMKM

Abstract: Penelitian yang dilakukan pada sektor UMKM yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa kontribusi penerapan Balanced Scorecard (BSC) dengan menggunakan empat perspektif: keuangan, pelanggan, proses bisnis internal dan pembelajaran&#8230; lajaran dan pertumbuhan. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa sktor UMKM memiliki strategi bisnis yang tepat dan program kerja yang dapat menghadapi perubahan tersebut, memungkinkan untuk mempertahankan dan memperluas bisnisnya di masa depan sesuai dengan visi dan misi. Dengan penelitian ini, penerapan BSC melalui empat perspektif dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa UMKM berorientasi terus menerus untuk mempertahankan kepuasan pelanggan, mendapatkan kepercayaan dari kualitas produk diikuti yang dengan dukungan mereka secara produktif dan berkomitmen, karyawan akan ma mpu memberikan produk / jasa dengan efisien, konsisten dan tepat waktu.

The Effect Of Simon Says Activities In Enhancing Students’ Listening Skills At Smpn 14 Kota Serang

Abstract: This research aimed to find the effect of Simon Says activities in enhancing students’ listening skill at SMPN 14 Kota Serang. Quantitative research method by implementing quasi-experimental study using Simon Says activities&#8230; vities to enhancing students’ listening skill at SMPN 14 Kota Serang. The population was seventh-grade students with 2 classes as a sample. In this study, 37 students in the experiment class and 37 students in the control class made up the sample. The data were collected using listening pre-test and listening post-test as instruments. SPSS 22.0 were used to analysed the data. The result of the research was there was significant difference between experimental class and control class where experimental class score increased to 84.41, while the control class only increased to 74.05. The analysis showed that the mean score of post-test in the experimental class was higher than control class. The result of Independent Sample Test table in this study was 0.000 < 0.05. This value means that the alternative was accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected. It can conclude that there is significant effect of Simon Says activities in enhancing students’ listening skill at SMPN 14 Kota Serang.
