l be recognized by the world, one factor is how the majority of people in a country master, develop and utilize science and technology. The purpose of writing this literature review is none other than to explain in detail the development of individuals in facing developments in science, which has so far become a topic of discussion in the world of education. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, namely research in the form of a literature study which aims to analyze, evaluate, identify, observe, find and determine relevant research topics. The results of data analysis conclude that science and technology are human achievements that must be utilized in understanding and practicing something. In line with this principle, science is actually a process experienced by individuals in their development. The poorer the knowledge, the narrower the insight in understanding something, the narrower a person's thinking about a science. In conclusion, development is a skill in the structure and function of the body or an increase in more complex abilities in a regular and predictable pattern as a result of experience and the maturation process. Development is also very closely related to social, motor, intellectual and emotional abilities. So it becomes very necessary how a learning design is formed to provide freedom to be creative on an ongoing basis in order to optimize and develop students work.

tory of thrifting, from the medieval period to the emergence of organizations such as Salvation Army and Goodwill that popularized it in the 19th century. The COVID-19 pandemic has reignited interest in thrifting due to economic pressures prompting people to save on expenses. The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive, utilizing in-depth interviews and direct observations at Pasar Loak Jembatan Item Jatinegara. The findings reveal that traders employ two main strategies: selling directly at the market and through online platforms. Meanwhile, consumers have diverse motivations, ranging from meeting household needs to a desire to collect unique and antique items. Analysis of Alfred Schutz’s phenomenological theory is used to understand the reasons and goals behind consumer’s choices in thrifting. The researcher finds that each individual has different motives, such as goal motives (In order to motive) and because motives (Because motive), underlying their decisions to engage in thrifting. The conclusion of this research is that the phenomenon of thrifting at Pasar Loak Jembatan Item Jatinegara reflects the evolving and relevant dynamics of consumer culture, adapting to social and economic changes. With the evolution of this practice, the second-hand market becomes a favorite place for people to find affordable items, while traders and consumers continue to adapt to technological advancements and changes in the economic landscape. This study provides valuable insights into how thrifting is not just an economic phenomenon but also reflects the identity and preferences of consumers in a constantly changing shopping culture.

Through qualitative research methods with the type of library research, this research focuses on how to implement social studies learning using a constructivist approach because the challenges and teaching of social studies are often associated with still using traditional learning which tends to be monotonous and does not encourage student involvement. The research results show that the constructivist approach can actually provide social studies teachers with access to choose appropriate learning rules, provide opportunities to make their own assessments and of course can reduce the teacher's burden because the teacher only acts as a facilitator.

Involving the psychological dimension in skincare is a response to skin problems and a preventive measure that can positively impact an individual's skin and mental health. The findings highlight the influence of stress and emotions on skin health as a critical focus, as stress and emotional tension can trigger inflammatory responses that significantly affect skin conditions. Meanwhile, psychological interventions in skincare are emerging as innovative solutions that offer therapeutic approaches to help individuals manage stress, anxiety and self-image issues that may arise from skin conditions. This method helps understand the relevance of new research and its relationship with previous research, identifying all previous scientific literature, including books, journal articles and theses, relating to the potential of the hotel business as a Staycation trend. This research aims to determine the potential of the hotel business as a Staycation trend. The research results show that 4-star and 3-star hotels differ in their understanding and application of the terms Daycation and Staycation, which mean a holiday of one day or a maximum of eight hours, however two out of five hotels still use the term Staycation even though the holiday is less than eight hours. During the pandemic, the term Staycation is also used. The findings indicate that it is important to maintain or improve hotel products and the use of digital marketing, especially social media, and continue to innovate to maintain a good image which relate to the prospects of the hotel business as a holiday style.

serta perencanaan masa depan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan karier siswa melalui layanan bimbingan konseling berbasis Tes RIASEC. Tes RIASEC digunakan untuk memetakan minat dan tipe kepribadian siswa agar dapat menentukan pelajaran peminatan yang sesuai. Sebanyak 422 siswa kelas X SMAN 2 Makassar mengikuti asesmen ini, yang diadaptasi dari instrumen terbuka Glints Indonesia dan dimodifikasi sesuai konteks lokal. Pelaksanaan tes dilakukan secara klasikal dengan pendampingan guru BK dan mahasiswa Psikologi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tipe kepribadian Social mendominasi (42%), diikuti oleh Artistic (19%) dan Realistic (13%). Konseling lanjutan bersama siswa dan orang tua dilakukan untuk membahas hasil tes serta membantu siswa menentukan pelajaran peminatan yang selaras dengan minat dan potensinya. Refleksi kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman konsep diri, kepercayaan diri, serta motivasi dalam perencanaan karier. Oleh karena itu, penerapan layanan bimbingan berbasis RIASEC perlu dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dalam sistem pendidikan.
