Government Digital Marketing Communications for Tourism Development in Bejijong Village

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the tourism potential and marketing strategies in Bejijong Village, a village with a rich history and culture from the Majapahit Kingdom era located in Mojokerto Regency, East Java Province. This… is study explores how village managers conduct managerial and marketing activities to attract tourists and promote local products. The research method involves a SWOT analysis to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the Marketing Mix’s 7P approach implemented by the village. The results of the study indicate that Bejijong Village has several significant advantages, including historical heritage such as Brahu Temple, Petilasan Siti Inggil, and Maha Vihara Majapahit, as well as local products such as smoked salted eggs, lemon juice, pukis lumer (melting) bertoping, tahu lontong (compress rice), and Cempaka batik handicrafts and wayang kulit. However, the challenges faced include less than optimal website management, lack of effective digital marketing strategies, and entrance fees that may be insufficient to support maintenance. This study introduces novelty in marketing strategy analysis by integrating the SWOT and Marketing Mix’s 7P approaches to provide in-depth insights into how management and marketing can be improved. These findings are expected to be a reference for other villages in designing more effective marketing strategies and suggesting improvement steps that can increase the attractiveness and sustainability of culture-based tourist destinations. Abstract: Penelitian ini menganalisis peran ecotourism dan destination heritage terhadap keputusan revisit intention wisatawan di destinasi Danau Toba, Sumatera Utara. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi bagaimana pengalaman wisata… sata ramah lingkungan (ecotourism) dan pelestarian warisan budaya (destination heritage) mempengaruhi niat wisatawan untuk kembali mengunjungi destinasi tersebut. Dalam studi ini, penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan tinjauan literatur yang relevan dari lima tahun terakhir. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi dokumentasi, yaitu mengkaji berbagai sumber sekunder seperti jurnal ilmiah, artikel, laporan, dan ulasan/review wisatawan di website TripAdvisor mengenai destinasi Danau Toba. Hasil dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengelolaan ecotourism dan pelestarian destination heritage dalam meningkatkan revisit intention wisatawan di Danau Toba. The Significant Expressions of Distrust and Pessimism to the Police in Franz Kafka’s Give It Up!

Abstract: This paper investigates matters of district and pessimism to the police in Franz Kafka’s flash fiction entitled Give It Up!. The story is about a walker who gets lost on a town street and then asks a policeman to find the… the route to his destination. Unexpectedly, the policeman told the man to give up looking for the path while turning away and laughing. This story reflects the author's expression of distrust then leads to a state of pessimism either as a philosophical doctrine or as a psychological mentality. In analysis through qualitative method, the figure of the police is an analogy of how the attitude of distrust emerged and developed into a form of pessimism especially to public apparatus. In conclusion, distrust and pessimism are not ex nihilo, but such reaction of any ignorance from public apparatus to any civilian.

The Influence of Transformational Leadership and Communication with Motivation as an Intervening Variable on the Performance of Tourism Village Managers in Ubud District, Gianyar Regency

Abstract: The tourism village as one of the tourist destinations developed by the village community, especially in Ubud District, Gianyar Regency, is managed by Pokdarwis. For this reason, managers are required to provide the best… performance in advancing tourism villages. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of transformational leadership and communication with motivation as an intervening variable on the performance of tourism village managers in Ubud District, Gianyar Regency. The research population is all the administrators or Pokdarwis members of tourist villages in Ubud District as many as 110 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling in order to obtain 93 people as respondents. The method of analysis using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis with SEM-PLS analysis. The results show that directly transformational leadership, communication and motivation have a positive and significant effect on the performance of managers, transformational leadership and communication have a positive and significant effect on motivation, and motivation is positively and significantly able to mediate the influence of transformational leadership on the performance of Tourism Village managers in Ubud District. Gianyar Regency. The implication of the research is the need to improve harmonious relationships between Pokdarwis members as tourism village managers to participate together in developing a better tourist village.

Contribution of Social Media Platforms in Tourism Promotion

Abstract: This study sought to identify the role of social media platforms in tourism marketing and promotion. It was also to evaluate the extent to which social media platforms used to the purpose of tourism promotion in Libya, evaluate… valuate they're contributing to promoting tourism sites in Libya, and to evaluate their extent to which they succeeded in promoting tourism sites in Libya. The convenience sampling method was used in this study where the data was obtained from 120 respondents by using a questionnaire. The study concludes that social media platforms play a very sensitive and important role in the effectiveness of tourism marketing and promotion among all users of these media. Additionally, social media platforms have the ability to provide users with accurate and confident information about their destinations which helped them to make accurate decisions about their destinations and tourism sites that they thinking to travel to or visit. Moreover, the users of these platforms mentioned that since these platforms were available to the end-users it was characterized with their ease of use and provide the users of the ability to share and post their experiences and perspectives regarding the sites they visited. This will facilitate the opportunity for tourism destinations to share, marketing, and promoting their contents with their customers effectively and efficiently.
