This type of research uses qualitative descriptive research because it collects information about the status of an existing problem. By using qualitative descriptive, it aims to better understand the problem more deeply. The results of this study show that transformational leadership has an influence on increasing the motivation of village officials at the Asembagus village office.

Methods: Qualitative research by understanding the phenomenon of what the research subjects experienced, In this study, the authors used a descriptive method, which aims to describe the facts of the Indonesian government's policy and the Thai government's policy in tackling HIV AIDS cases in each country. Results: People diagnosed with HIV should be offered and associated with antiretroviral treatment (ART) as soon as possible after diagnosis and monitored periodically using clinical and laboratory parameters, including tests to measure the virus in the blood (viral load). Indonesia's policies in dealing with HIV AIDS are: Government Policy, Treatment, treatment and support for PLHIV, Conducive Environment, Sustainability of Countermeasures. ction, convenience, administrative certainty, and equitable access for prospective pilgrims in an archipelagic province. A qualitative descriptive approach was used. Data were collected through observation, document review, and in-depth interviews with officials and employees involved in umrah service management at the Regional Office during August-October 2023. The analysis applies six public-policy evaluation criteria: effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and appropriateness. The findings show that the policy has generally met the six criteria. Effectiveness is reflected in administrative preparation, document control, security, and comfort before departure, during the stay in Saudi Arabia, and during return. Efficiency is shown through the use of available resources, a service process of approximately three to ten days, and continuous monitoring of travel providers. Adequacy is reflected in supervision of facilities, accommodation, safety standards, information, and complaint mechanisms. Equity is pursued through equal access, affordable costs, gender sensitivity, and protection of pilgrims. Responsiveness appears in rapid responses to complaints, emergency coordination, and service improvement based on feedback. Appropriateness is demonstrated through compliance with Islamic values, business ethics, regulations, and Saudi Arabian procedures. The study implies that digital registration, transparent quota management, cost audits, emergency response teams, and certified service personnel are needed to strengthen umrah service governance.

e authentic assessment offers various advantages that should not be taken for granted. This study aimed at investigating, 1) the assessment practice in the classroom, 2) the effectiveness of authentic assessment practice for assessing writing skill, and 3) the challenges of the practice. This study was a descriptive case study. The population of the study encompassed 31 learners in grade-5 elementary school. The instruments used for collecting the data were field notes yielded from classroom observation, transcript interview, and related documents. The result of the study performed that (1) the teacher employs several types of assessment, yet authentic assessment is the most preferrable in the practice, (2) the authentic assessment practice in the classroom is effectively depicting learners’ actual competence, comprising real-world relevance, and encouraging evaluation, and (3) the teacher encounters the challenging experience in designing acceptable assessment for learners with diverse level of English competence and the sufficient time, as well. In summary, this study has torched a light on the practice of authentic assessment in originally realizing the function of assessment. The different school setting, teaching experiences, learners’ language proficiency skills, and classroom environment might bring about a distinct result.

of English into Indonesian translation in a folksong entitled The Wellerman. This research applied descriptive qualitative method. In addition, this research combined with purposive sampling technique. Nababan translation quality assessment framework was used to investigate the accuracy and acceptability of the folksong. The whole The Wellerman’s lyrics consist of 28 lines which was then assessed by the raters in terms of its accuracy and acceptability. The raters were 2 translators and 1 writer. The raters were purposely chosen to conduct reliable results of the accuracy and acceptability. This study found the average score of the accuracy was 2. 35 with 198 total scores and the average score of the acceptability was 2.48 with 209 total scores. The result indicates that the translation was relatively accurate and acceptable for the raters. However, it needs further improvement to maintain the context of the source text (ST) in the target text (TT) to reach an accuracy and acceptability in The Wellerman folksong. This study implied that it is crucial to maintain the imagery, narration, and the context of folksong translation.

ys a qualitative descriptive approach with a sample of 15 students selected based on high, medium, and low ability categories. Data were collected through essay tests and analyzed using Newman's Error Analysis, which consists of five stages of errors: reading, understanding, transformation, process skills, and writing the final answer. The analysis results indicate that the highest incidence of errors occurred in the understanding stage and process skills stage, each accounting for 36%. Transformation errors accounted for 21.33%, while reading and final answer writing errors were in the very low category, each at 9.33%. These findings indicate that students still face difficulties in understanding basic concepts and technical steps in geometric transformations. Based on these results, it is recommended that teachers implement systematic learning strategies such as Learning Therapy, emphasizing the understanding of prerequisite concepts, writing down known and asked information, and developing the habit of structuring and evaluating solution steps systematically to minimize similar errors in the future.

his study examines the mechanism of transmitting legal texts without editorial changes and compares the ijtihad of the four schools of jurisprudence regarding time limits to provide consumer protection solutions in the digital age. The methodology employed is normative legal research using a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach through library research. Data collection techniques involved cataloging hadiths on khiyar from the Kutubus Sittah, identifying the structure of the isnad, and analyzing key vocabulary (mufradat). Data analysis was conducted through stages of isnad criticism to assess the quality of the narrators, systematic analysis of the matn, comparative analysis across schools of thought, and the synchronization of traditional principles with modern economic realities. The research results indicate that the hadiths on khiyar possess exceptional chain of transmission quality within the Silsilah adz-Dzahab tradition, ensuring the text’s accuracy free from distortion over fourteen centuries. Regarding the time limit for khiyar syarat, differing viewpoints were identified: the Shafi’i school limits it to a maximum of three days, while the Maliki school allows a duration of up to 38 days depending on the type of object. In conclusion, the principle of khiyar remains relevant in the digital economy through the transformation of the order cancellation feature as a manifestation of khiyar majelis, as well as the return policy as an application of khiyar aib and khiyar syarat. The implications of this research emphasize that the ethical values of khiyar can serve as a foundation for regulators in refining consumer protection laws to minimize information asymmetry and ensure full consent (antaradin) in every online transaction

To explore this phenomenon, the study applies a qualitative descriptive approach, focusing on naturally occurring conversations among students in various campus settings. Data were collected through careful observation and documentation of students’ spoken interactions, allowing for an in-depth understanding of how meaning is constructed in real-life situations. The results indicate that students actively employ both denotative and connotative meanings in their speech. However, connotative meanings appear more dominant, particularly in informal contexts such as casual conversations with peers. This tendency highlights the role of language as a flexible and dynamic tool for expression. Furthermore, the frequent use of connotative language demonstrates students’ creativity in conveying ideas, emotions, and attitudes. It also reflects how language functions as a marker of social identity, helping students build relationships and express group belonging within the academic community.
