secondary data from January 2015 to December 2025, comprising 132 observations. CSPI data were obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, DJIA, gold price, and oil price data were obtained from Investing.com, while exchange rate data were sourced from Bank Indonesia. The analysis employed the two-step Engle-Granger Error Correction Model (EG-ECM) to identify long-run relationships and short-run adjustment dynamics. The long-run results show that gold prices, world oil prices, and the DJIA have positive and significant effects on the CSPI, whereas the rupiah exchange rate has a negative but insignificant effect. In the short run, the exchange rate has a negative and significant effect on the CSPI, while gold prices, oil prices, and the DJIA have positive and significant effects. The Error Correction Term coefficient of -0.1325 is negative and significant, indicating that approximately 13.25% of short-run disequilibrium is corrected each month toward long-run equilibrium. These findings imply that investors and policymakers should closely monitor global market conditions, commodity price movements, and exchange rate volatility to support investment decisions and maintain Indonesian capital market stability
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the application of game theory in understanding strategic behavior among firms in an oligopolistic market. Using a qualitative approach with a literature review method, this research examines the…
he concepts of Nash equilibrium, dominant strategy, and price discrimination as foundations for determining optimal strategies among market players. The findings show that game theory, particularly the Cournot, Bertrand, and Stackelberg models, effectively explains competitive interactions in markets with limited participants. Moreover, regulations such as Law No. 5 of 1999 play an important role in maintaining fair competition. Game theory proves to be an effective analytical tool for formulating corporate strategies and economic policies in oligopolistic markets

emphasizing the real interaction between demand and supply as a factor that affects the market balance at the regional level. The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of demand and supply on the balance of the consumer goods market in Makassar. This study adopts a quantitative approach by using primary data from 250 respondents, consisting of 200 consumers and 50 traders with questions using a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis is carried out with multiple linear regression using SPSS version 25, as well as involving validity testing, reliability and classic assumption testing. Research findings show that the demand and supply variables have a positive and significant effect on the market balance with an Adjusted R² of 0.285. Together, the two variables explain 28.5% variation in market balance. This result shows that the increase in demand and the availability of the supply of consumer goods are the key to maintaining price stability in the local market.
Abstract:Inflation is a fundamental measure of macroeconomic stability that negatively impacts the nation's economy and affects many other macroeconomic variables. Thus, in this study, the major objective was based on modeling and…
d forecasting inflation in Ethiopia and its components using a VAR model. The analysis was based on annual data from 1992 to 2021, encompassing 30 years. The results indicated that all five series were non-stationary at the level but stationary after their first differencing at a 5% level of significance. Johansen's cointegration tests were conducted. The results indicated the presence of at least one co-integration relationship between the variables. The Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) was fitted to model short run and long run relationships among inflation and other macro-econometric series such as GDP growth, government expenditure, money supply, and imports, and the result indicated that the coefficient of error correction term is negative (-0.279), which indicated that the fitted VECM model continues to move toward long run equilibrium and converges. Granger causality tests were employed to explore potential causal relationships. Impulse response analysis and variance decomposition were used to determine the short-run interactions among the variables. Finally, using the fitted model, out-of-sample forecasts were produced, yielding forecasted plots and values for the endogenous variables. According to the forecasted inflation rates for the next five years, prices are projected to decrease by approximately 18.0% in 2022, 6.8% in 2023, and then increase by approximately 8.3% in 2024. Subsequently, prices are expected to decrease by approximately 2% in 2025 and 5% in 2026 over the specified time periods.
Abstract:This study investigates the tensile uplift capacity of screw piles in clay soil as an alternative anchoring system for slope stabilization in cohesive ground conditions. The research aims to address the limited availability…
ity of empirical field data on screw-pile behavior under repeated loading and to evaluate the agreement between theoretical predictions and actual in situ responses. The methodology employs an experimental approach through in situ testing with screw-pile diameters of 10 cm, 15 cm, and 20 cm, and embedment depths ranging from 0.6 m to 1.0 m. The tests were conducted under both static and repeated tensile loading using a hydraulic jack system, accompanied by vertical deformation measurements to establish load–displacement curves. Theoretical capacity was calculated using a limit equilibrium approach for comparison with experimental results. The findings reveal a nonlinear load–displacement response, characterized by initial stiffness followed by progressive deformation into the post-yield stage. At a maximum load of 2.858 tons, deformation increased with diameter, from 5.10 cm (10 cm) to 8.49 cm (20 cm). Under repeated loading, failure occurred at a lower load of approximately 1.6 tons with a maximum deformation of 1.648 cm, indicating potential capacity degradation due to cyclic loading. The comparison between theoretical and field results shows significant deviations, with analytical predictions generally underestimating the in situ capacity. This highlights the limitations of simplified models that do not fully account for shaft adhesion, installation disturbance, soil heterogeneity, pore-water pressure effects, and cyclic degradation. Overall, this study contributes valuable field pull-out test data for screw piles in clay under repeated loading, emphasizing the need for design calibration based on full-scale testing for slope stabilization applications. The results also suggest opportunities for further research involving long-term monitoring and advanced modeling of cyclic degradation.
