Abstract:Digital financial transparency is crucial for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly for building accountable and trustworthy public institutions. Limited studies examine whether digitalization…
actually delivers accessible financial information and whether such transparency strengthens sustainable public governance. This study addresses that gap by constructing an original, multi-dimensional, portal-level Digital Financial Transparency Index (DFTI) and linking it to sustainable public governance, an association not previously tested at the Indonesian subnational level. Using a quantitative, explanatory design, financial management and public information portals are assessed through content analysis. Twenty-one indicators covering organizational information, financial transparency, and website accessibility are aggregated into the DFTI. Sustainable public governance is proxied by the 2024 electronic-based government system (SPBE) index, the only nationally standardized, externally assessed, and annually published measure of digital public administration maturity in Indonesia. Ordinary least squares regression tests the hypothesis, complemented by Spearman correlation as a non-parametric robustness check suited to the small city and regency subsamples. The findings show DFTI has a positive and significant effect on SPBE (β = 0.026; p = 0.032). The effect operates through content rather than appearance: among regencies, organizational information and financial transparency correlate significantly (p < 0.05) with SPBE, website accessibility does not. The results provide recommendations that local governments should adopt a standardized minimum financial-disclosure content and prioritize the weakest indicators, which are raw data, citizen-friendly budget summaries, and personal data protection. Also the provincial government should channel budget-capacity support to low-DFTI regencies, where transparency and maturity are most strongly associated with budget resources to advance SDG 17.
Abstract:The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of work-life balance on employee performance The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of work-life balance on employee performance with motivation as a moderator.…
a moderator. The study aims to determine and analyze whether motivation plays a role in improving employee performance across all districts in the island of Sebatik, as well as to determine and analyze whether motivation moderates the relationship between work-life balance and employee performance in all districts in the island of Sebatik. The research method used in this study is quantitative research. The population in this study consists of all Civil Servants in all districts on the island of Sebatik, totaling 110 employees. The sampling method used is census technique, which includes all 110 elements being investigated. Therefore, it analyzes all objects, all indicators, all events, and incidents. The data used in this study is primary data, collected through the distribution of questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this study is quantitative data analysis using statistical methods. The statistical method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The research findings indicate that there is a significant positive influence of motivation on improving employee performance across all districts in the island of Sebatik. However, motivation does not moderate the relationship between work-life balance and employee performance in all districts on the island of Sebatik. Therefore, motivation is not a moderating variable in this study. This means that motivation cannot strengthen or weaken the relationship between work-life balance and employee performance.
Abstract:The transition into emerging adulthood frequently induces life-direction anxiety, commonly known as a quarter-life crisis, among university students. This correlational quantitative investigation was designed to evaluate…
the correlation between the intensity of the quarter-life crisis (Variable X) and self-esteem (Variable Y) among active students at the State Christian Institute of Kupang (IAKN Kupang). Employing a sample of 30 participants gathered via probability sampling techniques, data collection was conducted utilizing Likert-scale questionnaires and statistically processed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation formula. The empirical analysis demonstrates a significant and highly robust positive correlation between the investigated constructs ($r = 0.769$; $p = 0.000$). This outcome highlights a noteworthy theoretical anomaly, wherein heightened levels of crisis are unexpectedly linked with enhanced self-esteem. This distinct psychological pattern is driven by active internal introspection, a purposeful pursuit of life meaning, and personal identity consolidation amid adversity. Furthermore, the campus culture at IAKN Kupang—characterized by comprehensive spiritual mentoring, robust peer networks, and a nurturing social atmosphere—serves as a constructive emotional buffer. These external dynamics empower students to navigate developmental stress adaptively, demonstrating that rather than diminishing their self-worth, the identity crisis ultimately bolsters their personal resilience.
Abstract:This study investigated the effectiveness of the Complete‑Sentence Model in enhancing paragraph‑writing ability among ninth‑grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Sibabangun. Specifically, it aimed to (1) describe the implementation…
ementation of the Complete‑Sentence Model in teaching paragraph writing, (2) measure students’ paragraph‑writing ability before and after the intervention, and (3) determine whether the model produced a statistically significant improvement. A pre‑experimental one‑group pretest–posttest design was employed. The population was all Grade IX students (N = 84); a purposive sample of 29 students from class IX C participated. Data were collected via observation checklists and writing tests. Findings show that implementation quality was rated as good (mean = 3.4). Students’ mean writing score improved markedly from 39 (pretest; fail) to 75 (posttest; good). A paired t‑test confirmed the improvement was statistically significant (t = 11.78 > tcritical = 2.05), leading to acceptance of the hypothesis. The results indicate that the Complete‑Sentence Model is an effective instructional strategy for improving paragraph‑writing ability among ninth‑grade students at the study site.
Abstract:The conflict surrounding the Rempang Eco-City National Strategic Project (PSN) on Rempang Island, Batam City, Riau Islands Province, is one of the most complex development policy crises of the past decade. This study analyzes…
lyzes the neglected environmental disaster mitigation dimensions in the acceleration of the Rempang Eco-City PSN from nine environmental perspectives, while evaluating whether the cancellation of this strategic development policy is a normatively and empirically justifiable choice. Using a qualitative research approach with a case study design, the study combines regulatory analysis based on legal documents including Laws, Government Regulations, Presidential Regulations, Ministerial Regulations, Environmental Impact Assessment (AMDAL) documents, and the Batam City Spatial Plan (RTRW) with field data from secondary sources compiled between 2023–2025. The findings reveal four main conclusions: (1) regulatory incoherence exists between Permenko Ekuin No. 7/2023 and Law No. 32/2009 on Environmental Protection and Management (PPLH) as well as Law No. 27/2007 on Coastal Zone Management; (2) the AMDAL process was carried out procedurally without participatory substance and was only initiated after the conflict erupted; (3) environmental impacts including threats of deforestation of protected forests, mangrove ecosystem degradation, and sea sand exploitation have not been adequately mitigated; and (4) resistance from approximately 80% of affected residents indicates a failure of the Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) principle. The most recent development shows that through Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 12 of 2025, signed by President Prabowo Subianto on February 10, 2025, Rempang Eco-City is no longer listed among the 77 national strategic projects. This study recommends a comprehensive policy evaluation for Rempang Island development based on an independent AMDAL review, fulfillment of the rights of the Malay indigenous community, and a moratorium on all construction activities until legal certainty is established.

could significantly improve students’ writing performance, especially in writing descriptive text. The study employed a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test. The sample consisted of 20 eleventh-grade students selected from SMA Negeri 8 Padangsidimpuan. The data were collected through writing composition tests and observation during the learning process. The results showed that the students’ writing performance improved after being taught through Word Wall media. The mean score of the pre-test was lower than the post-test mean score, indicating a positive effect of the treatment. The hypothesis test also showed that the use of Word Wall media had a significant impact on students’ writing skills. It can be concluded that technology-enhanced Word Wall media is effective in supporting students’ writing development and creating more interactive and engaging EFL learning.
Abstract:AThis study aims to empirically test and analyze the influence of Budgetary Decentralization (DP)—including the dynamics of Decentralization Curtailment—and the Effectiveness of the Internal Control System (ICS) on the Quality…
he Quality of Financial Statement Accountability (QFSA) at the Ambon City Cooperatives Office. QFSA is considered a crucial reflection of public entity responsibility, affected by the mechanism of fiscal authority allocation and the internal oversight system. This quantitative research employs a survey method, with the population being all staff involved in the financial cycle at the Ambon City Cooperatives Office (Head of Office, PPK, and PPTK). Given the limited number of relevant subjects, a Saturated Sampling (Census) technique was used. Primary data was collected via a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with SPSS software. Empirically, the results are expected to prove that (1) Budgetary Decentralization (including curtailment dynamics) has a significant influence on QFSA, and (2) The effectiveness of a robust ICS is positively and significantly correlated with QFSA. These findings are important for enriching the public sector accounting literature, highlighting the necessity of balancing delegated authority (decentralization) with the strengthening of internal control to achieve optimal financial statement accountability at the Local Government Unit (SKPD) level
Abstract:The rising prevalence of obesity in Indonesia contributes to increased risk of metabolic diseases such as diabetes mellitus. Body Mass Index (BMI) is commonly used to assess nutritional status and may be correlated with…
long-term blood glucose levels measured by Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c). This study aimed to explore the relationship between BMI and HbA1c levels in patients at Prima Medika General Hospital, Denpasar. A cross-sectional analytic observational design was employed, involving 30 purposively selected respondents. BMI was calculated from weight and height measurements, while HbA1c levels were assessed using the immunoturbidimetric method. Results showed an even distribution of respondents in the normal and overweight BMI categories (each 46.5%), while 50% had HbA1c levels >8%. However, Pearson correlation analysis indicated no statistically significant relationship between BMI and HbA1c levels (p=0.982; r=-0.004). The study concludes that BMI does not have a linear correlation with HbA1c levels. Other factors such as type and duration of therapy, disease progression, and patient adherence may play a greater role in influencing glycemic control and should be further investigated.
Abstract:This study examines the effectiveness of implementing Collaborative Learning as a strategy to strengthen Literasi digital among elementary school students, emerging as a response to challenges related to students’ limited…
ted ability to access, understand, and utilize digital information critically and responsibly. The main problem addressed in this research concerns the lack of learning models capable of integrating cooperation, creativity, and critical thinking skills with digital competencies relevant to 21st-century demands. Employing a descriptive qualitative method supported by a literature review, the data were collected from various scientific sources such as books, journals, articles, and previous studies. The findings indicate that Collaborative Learning effectively enhances students’ Literasi digital skills through activities emphasizing interaction, discussion, problem-solving, and the use of digital platforms such as Google Classroom, Canva, Kahoot, and Padlet. The teacher’s role as a facilitator is crucial in creating an active, adaptive, and student-centered learning environment. Challenges such as limited devices and internet access still arise, yet these can be mitigated through teacher competency development, parental support, and the optimal use of accessible digital resources. The study concludes that integrating Collaborative Learning with Literasi digital not only improves academic competence but also fosters a learning ecosystem that is engaging, participatory, and aligned with technological advancements. The novelty of this research lies in highlighting that student collaboration, when combined with appropriate technological integration, can serve as an effective strategy for strengthening Literasi digital sustainably at the elementary school level.
