search uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through documentation studies and in-depth interviews with informants from the Bukittinggi City Regional Financial Agency. The research results show that the tax potential in Bukittinggi City is very large, especially from the hotel and restaurant sector, but has not been fully explored optimally. Tax target setting is still fluctuating and does not fully reflect the real potential available. Factors that influence the success or achievement of targets include the level of taxpayer compliance, the quality of data collection, the tax administration system, as well as the influence of fiscal policy and local economic conditions. The optimization strategy implemented includes carrying out intensive outreach, developing a digital tax reporting system, updating and registering new data, as well as approaches that provide taxpayer education and awareness. This research recommends strengthening data, taking approaches with various agencies and maximizing tourism management to support a sustainable increase in Regional Original Income (PAD).

Core”. The main objective is to understand how conversational maxims and implicatures are applied in the context of podcasts to convey messages about self-confidence and self-love to listeners. The methods used are conversational analysis based on pragmatics theory, conversational analysis based on Grice's (1975), theory of maxims and qualitative methods based on Creswell's (2007), theory then the data analyzed are transcriptions of Selena Gomez podcasts that have been selected based on their relevance to the research topic. The analysis is done by looking at how each conversational maxim (maxims of quantity, quality, relevance, and manner) and the two existing implicatures (conventional implicature and conversational implicature) are applied in the verbal expressions in the podcast. The result is that the four maxims and two implicatures are all found in Selena Gomez's podcast.

si pengadaan barang guna mendukung pemeliharaan dan operasional Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dalam sistem pengadaan barang PT. POMI guna memastikan ketersediaan stok yang optimal tanpa menyebabkan overstocking. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dengan pihak terkait dalam pengadaan barang, serta analisis dokumen sistem pengelolaan persediaan yang digunakan, yaitu Maximo system. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT. POMI menerapkan EOQ dalam menentukan jumlah dan waktu pemesanan barang untuk menyeimbangkan biaya pemesanan dan penyimpanan. Sistem Maximo berperan dalam mengotomatisasi perhitungan reorder point (ROP) dan pemantauan stok secara real-time, sehingga memudahkan proses pengambilan keputusan dalam pengadaan barang. Selain itu, PT. POMI menetapkan kebijakan safety stock dan batas maksimum persediaan untuk mencegah risiko kekurangan stok atau penumpukan barang yang tidak efisien. Sistem ini memungkinkan pemantauan stok berbasis data historis dan analisis permintaan barang secara periodik. Namun, terdapat tantangan dalam implementasi, seperti ketergantungan pada data terdahulu serta keterbatasan fleksibilitas dalam menghadapi fluktuasi permintaan mendadak. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana penerapan EOQ dan sistem manajemen persediaan berbasis digital dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pengadaan barang di industri energi. Rekomendasi lebih lanjut mencakup optimalisasi parameter EOQ berdasarkan pola permintaan aktual serta peningkatan integrasi sistem Maximo dengan proses perencanaan strategis perusahaan guna meningkatkan responsivitas terhadap kebutuhan operasional.

ifficulties in using songs and how songs should be implemented in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classroom. A number of previous studies from 2008 to 2015 investigating the use of songs in teaching English have been analysed. Most of the studies used in this research are empirical studies. It is found that the benefits of songs to teach English can be classified into four categories: (1) affective; (2) cognitive; (3) linguistic; and (4) culture. This review presents a better understanding on the benefits and difficulties of using songs to teach English to young learners. It can be argued that teaching English songs to young learners is prominent. At the end, the author outlines several recommendations regarding on how to overcome the difficulties in teaching songs so the use of songs in teaching can be maximised.

Sistem pendidikan Indonesia menghadapi beberapa tantangan, khususnya di bidang kurikulum. Salah satu permasalahan utamanya adalah tidak adanya keselarasan antara kurikulum dan kebutuhan tenaga kerja, sehingga terjadi ketidaksesuaian antara keterampilan yang diajarkan di sekolah dengan yang dibutuhkan oleh pasar tenaga kerja. Selain itu, sistem pendidikan telah dikritik karena penekanannya yang berat pada hafalan dan hafalan, yang dipandang sebagai penghalang pengembangan pemikiran kritis dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah di kalangan siswa.
Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia, telah dilakukan berbagai upaya untuk mereformasi kurikulum selama bertahun-tahun. Reformasi kurikulum terbaru, Kurikulum 2013, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan relevansi kurikulum dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja, mempromosikan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah, serta membekali siswa dengan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan untuk abad ke-21.
Namun, penerapan Kurikulum baru menghadapi beberapa tantangan, termasuk pelatihan guru yang tidak memadai, kurangnya sumber daya, dan penolakan dari pemangku kepentingan. Artikel ini diakhiri dengan menyoroti perlunya upaya berkelanjutan untuk memastikan keberhasilan penerapan Kurikulum baru dan memaksimalkan potensi dampaknya terhadap kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia.
Abstract
This article provides an overview of the history of curriculum reform in Indonesia, the current state of the curriculum, the process of curriculum reform, and the challenges and implications of implementing the new Curriculum. The article argues that curriculum reform is crucial for Indonesia's education system to meet the needs of its students and prepare them for the challenges of the 21st century.
The Indonesian education system has been facing several challenges, particularly in the area of curriculum. One of the main issues is the lack of alignment between the curriculum and the needs of the workforce, resulting in a mismatch between the skills taught in schools and those required by the labor market. Moreover, the education system has been criticized for its heavy emphasis on rote learning and memorization, which has been seen as a barrier to the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.
To address these challenges and improve the quality of education in Indonesia, there have been multiple attempts to reform the curriculum over the years. The most recent curriculum reform, the 2013 Curriculum, aims to improve the relevance of the curriculum to the needs of the workforce, promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and equip students with the skills required for the 21st century.
However, the implementation of the new Curriculum has faced several challenges, including inadequate teacher training, lack of resources, and resistance from stakeholders. The article concludes by highlighting the need for continued efforts to ensure the successful implementation of the new Curriculum and maximize its potential impact on the quality of education in Indonesia.
