Digital Entrepreneurial Mindset Development: Strategies to Increase the Economic Competitiveness of Indonesia's Gen Z in the E-Commerce Era

Abstract: This systematic literature review (SLR) article discusses the role of e-commerce education to increase the economic growth of generation z (Gen Z) in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to determine aspects of e-commerce… erce education to support the economic growth of Gen Z in Indonesia. E-commerce education is understood as a place to form the right self-potential to improve Gen Z's digital skills. The method of writing a systematic literature review (SLR) article is a library research method sourced from the Scopus database. The results of this literature review study found that e-commerce education integrated with industry can create Gen Z who have skills in managing digital technology, creativity, and are able to adapt according to the job market. The implications of this study are to encourage the government, academics, and industry players to assist Gen Z through e-commerce education so that their potential becomes a source of economic growth in Indonesia in the future.

Analysis of Coastal Tourism Development Strategy in Indonesia to Improve Community Economy

Abstract: Coastal tourism plays a crucial role in Indonesia’s economic growth, particularly in enhancing local community welfare. This study aims to analyze effective strategies for developing coastal tourism to improve the community’s… unity’s economy. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis in selected coastal tourism areas. The findings reveal that sustainable tourism development, community empowerment, and digital marketing adoption significantly contribute to economic improvement. However, challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, environmental degradation, and policy inconsistencies hinder optimal development. The study suggests a collaborative approach involving government, local communities, and private sectors to establish sustainable and inclusive coastal tourism strategies. Strengthening infrastructure, promoting eco-tourism, and enhancing digital tourism platforms are recommended to maximize economic benefits. These findings provide insights for policymakers and stakeholders to formulate more effective coastal tourism policies in Indonesia.

By using a digital marketing strategy, MSMEs can reach a wider market at a more efficient cost and can increase sales and income for MSMEs.

Literature Review: Online Marketing Activities Towards Increasing The Income of Traditional Market Traders in South Sulawesi

Abstract: Online marketing is one of the main strategies in increasing business income, including for traditional market traders in South Sulawesi. Although internet penetration in Indonesia, especially in South Sulawesi, continues… s to grow, many traditional market traders have not utilized digital potential to market their products. This study aims to explore online marketing activities implemented by traditional market traders in Gowa Regency, as well as to analyze their influence on increasing income and the factors that influence their success. Based on literature studies, the use of social media and e-commerce platforms has been shown to increase product visibility and attract more consumers, which in turn can increase sales. However, the adoption of digital technology among traditional market traders is still limited, mainly due to the lack of skills in managing social media accounts and digital platforms. This study uses a qualitative approach with interviews and observation methods of traders in traditional markets in Gowa Regency. The results of the study show that online marketing has a positive influence on increasing trader income, but the level of adoption varies based on factors such as age, education, and business experience. Therefore, digital marketing training and support from the government and trader associations are needed to accelerate the adoption of this technology. This study is expected to provide recommendations for the development of more effective digital marketing strategies for traditional market traders in South Sulawesi, in order to increase competitiveness and strengthen the local economy.

Abstract: In the digital era, entrepreneurship has undergone significant transformation, particularly in human capital management. This study explores strategies for human capital development within digital entrepreneurial environments,… ments, focusing on digital skills training, collaborative learning, and flexible work arrangements. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), and document analysis. The findings indicate that entrepreneurs who adopt digital-based human capital development strategies experience improvements in workforce skills, innovation, and business productivity. However, challenges such as limited resources, resistance to change, and digital literacy gaps remain significant barriers, particularly for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This study highlights the role of leadership and digital platforms as solutions to overcome these obstacles. The findings provide valuable insights for business practitioners and policymakers in designing more effective and sustainable human capital development strategies in the digital age.

The Effect of Digitalization of Payment Transactions on Regional Expenditures in Mamasa Regency

Abstract: This research aims to analyze and determine the effect of digitalization of payment transactions on regional spending in Mamasa Regency. This research is quantitative research using primary and secondary data sources. The… e primary data source is the results of interviews with Mamasa Regional Government employees who were the research samples where the sample collection method was purposive sampling. Secondary data consists of PAD and regional expenditure data for the last three years as well as other supporting documents. The data collection method is carried out through the following stages: Questionnaire and Interview. The collected data can be analyzed quantitatively using descriptive or inferential statistics to test hypotheses. Analysis of this research data uses regression techniques, namely simple linear analysis. Hypothesis testing is carried out to see the level of significance of the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The research results show that there is a significant positive influence of digitalization of payment transactions on regional spending in Mamasa district.

Analysis of Human Resource Competency in Improving Employee Performance in The Department Communication and Informatics of Gunungsitoli City

Abstract: This study aims to analyze human resource competencies in improving employee performance at the Communication and Information Agency of Gunungsitoli City. Employee competencies, both in terms of technical knowledge, communication… unication skills, and work attitudes, are important factors in determining the success of implementing government duties, especially in the digital era and the implementation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE). This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that most employees have adequate technical skills in operating information technology devices, and demonstrate discipline and responsibility in carrying out their duties. The Communication and Information Agency has also exceeded several strategic performance targets, including improving digital services, public participation, and increasing the SPBE index value. This study recommends the importance of increasing regular training, updating digital infrastructure, and strengthening the competency-based performance evaluation system. Overall findings indicate that the development of HR competencies has a significant contribution to achieving effective, efficient, and adaptive institutional performance to the demands of the digital era.

Enhancing MSME Competitiveness Through Financial Literacy and Digital Transformation in Indonesia

Abstract: Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a cornerstone of Indonesia's economy, contributing 60.5% to the national GDP and employing 97% of the workforce. However, MSMEs face challenges such as low financial literacy… acy and limited adoption of digital technologies, which hinder their competitiveness in the global market. This study explores the synergistic role of financial literacy and digital transformation in enhancing MSME performance and competitiveness. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and policy document analysis. The findings reveal that the average financial literacy level among MSME actors in Indonesia is only 38%, leading to poor financial management and limited access to formal financing. On the other hand, only 16% of MSMEs have integrated digital technologies into their operations, with those who did reporting significant improvements in efficiency and revenue. The integration of financial literacy with digital tools was found to have a multiplier effect, enabling better resource management, improved decision-making, and enhanced market competitiveness. This study highlights the importance of targeted policies to combine financial literacy training with digital technology adoption. By addressing challenges such as infrastructure limitations and resistance to change, stakeholders can foster inclusive economic growth and empower MSMEs to thrive in the digital economy.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the strategic management of PT Sentra Food Indonesia using a SWOT analysis to identify key internal and external factors. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the research utilizes IFAS… S and EFAS matrices to evaluate the company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The analysis includes an examination of the company's brand, distribution network, market reach, and supplier dependencies, using data from company records and industry reports. The findings reveal PT Sentra Food Indonesia's robust brand and distribution network but highlight challenges such as limited market reach and supplier reliance. Opportunities for growth are identified in product innovation, market expansion, and digital transformation. These insights provide recommendations for enhancing the company's sustainability and competitiveness in the dynamic food industry.

Employees Perception of Work-Life Balance Implementation in a Hybrid Work Environment

Abstract: This study examines employees' perceptions of work-life balance implementation in a hybrid work environment, a model that has gained popularity in the post-COVID-19 era. Hybrid work arrangements offer flexibility by allowing… wing employees to alternate between remote and office-based work, providing opportunities to balance professional and personal responsibilities. However, the blurred boundaries between work and personal life in a hybrid setting can create challenges, such as overworking, interruptions during personal time, and social isolation. Using a qualitative approach, this study explores the experiences, challenges, and factors influencing work-life balance in hybrid work environments. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions with employees from various sectors. The findings reveal that while hybrid work promotes flexibility and autonomy, it also increases the risk of stress and burnout due to a lack of clear boundaries and insufficient organizational support. Factors such as flexible scheduling, supportive leadership, and access to user-friendly digital tools were identified as enablers of work-life balance. This research highlights the dual impact of hybrid work on work-life balance and emphasizes the need for clear organizational policies, leadership training, and technological support to ensure employee well-being. The findings provide actionable recommendations for organizations to optimize hybrid work practices.
