Potret Kehidupan Sosial, Politik, Ekonomi dan Kultural Muslim Minoritas Di Kawasan Afrika

Abstract: Perkembangan Islam di dunia tidak hanya sebatas ranah akidah saja, tetapi juga pada ranah-ranah yang lain seperti ranah sosial, politik, ekonomi, dan pendidikan. Di Afrika, negara-negara yang menjadi basis Islam sejak zaman… man klasik hingga zaman modern diantaranya, Mesir, Sudan, Ethiopia (Afrika Timur), dan Maroko (Afrika Barat). Perkembangan Islam di berbagai bidang inilah yang menjadikan Islam sempurna dan mudah diterima di semua kalangan. Meskipun begitu seiring berjalannya waktu akibat dari pengaruh dari agama-agama lain seperti Kristen menyebabkan munculnya minoritas Muslim. Beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan terbentuknya minoritas muslim yaitu, tanah-tanah muslim di kuasai oleh pejaja, gerakan pindah agaman dari non muslim menjadi muslim, emigrasi muslim ke daerah-daerah yang penduduk muslimnya kecil.  Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji kehidupan sosial, politik, ekonomi dan kultural Muslim minoritas di kawasan Afrika Barat dan Afrika Timur. Adapun metode yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian library research (Studi Literature). Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa paradigma ras dan kebudayaan menjadi permasalahan yang sangat krusial dan kaum muslimin umumnya senantiasa terjerumus pada simbol-simbol keagamaan sehingga kestabilan politik akan tetap sulit di capai. Kehidupan sosial-budaya masyarakat Minoritas Muslim di Afrika sering kali terjadi diskriminasi oleh pihak mayoritas. Keadaan ekonomi masyarakat Muslim minoritas di Afrika sebagian besar masyarakatnya bergantung pada pertanian. Keadaan kultural masyarakat minoritas Muslim di Afrika masih mempertahankan kepercayaan adat, melakukan ritual untuk leluhur.

Abstract: Artikel ini bertujuan mengangkat tema ritual keagamaan masyarakat Islam Sunda, adapun metode yang digunakan  adalah Pendekatan kepustakaan (library research) yaitu pendekatan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan… data dan informasi dengan bantuan bermacam-macam material yang terdapat di ruang perpustakaan, seperti buku buku, majalah-majalah, dokumen, catatan dan kisah-kisah sejarah dan lain-lainnya. Adapun hasil dari pembahasan ini yaitu Proses penyebaran Islam di Tatar Sunda tidak seluruhnya diterima di beberapa tempat, masih terdapat komunitas yang bertahan dalam ajaran leluhurnya seperti masyarakat Baduy. Mereka adalah komunitas yang tidak mau memeluk Islam dan terkungkung di satu wilayah religius yang khas. Masuknya agama Islam ke Tatar Sunda menyebabkan terpisahnya komunitas penganut ajaran Sunda Wiwitan yang taat dengan mereka yang kemudian menganut Islam. Ritual keislaman masyarakat Sunda dan keyakinannya masih terdapat pengaruh dari ajaran leluhur seperti meminta pada roh orang baik yang telah meninggal, namun ada yang berpendapat bahwa meminta pada roh orang yang meninggal tersebut hanyalah sebagai penyampai kepada Allah atau dalam kajian Islam disebut dengan tawassul. Kemudian terdapat juga acara peringatan Muludan atau kelahiran Nabi Muhammad Saw yang mana peringatan tersebut juga terdapat ajaran leluhur yang bertentangan Islam, maka acara Muludan tersebut diubah dengan cara memberikan ceramah tentang kisah kelahiran dan kehidupan Nabi Muhammad Saw.

Student And Teacher Perceptions Of Extensive Reading Practice

Abstract: Extensive reading practice is a reading activity that involves a variety of materials outside the official curriculum. This research aims to understand how students and teachers implement Extensive Reading Practice and its… ts impact on language learning. The research method used is a literature review, in which information is collected and analyzed from various sources such as journal articles, books, and related references. The results showed that Extensive Reading Practice received positive responses from students and teachers. Students reported improved reading skills, increased vocabulary, better text comprehension, and increased interest in reading. Meanwhile, teachers reported that extensive reading practice increased students' motivation to learn and active participation in language learning. The role of the school in providing adequate resources for extensive reading practice is also very important. This includes a well-stocked library and a variety of reading materials to support different reading activities. Overall, this study shows that extensive reading practice has significant benefits for students and teachers in improving language proficiency and motivation to learn.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis fenomena bullying di sekolah berdasarkan teori… ori belajar sosial Albert Bandura, yang menekankan pengaruh observasi dan imitasi terhadap pembentukan perilaku. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah library research dengan mengkaji berbagai literatur relevan, termasuk teori belajar sosial dan data empiris terkait bullying. Hasil penelitian diharapkan memberikan pemahaman komprehensif mengenai faktor penyebab bullying, seperti pengaruh lingkungan, media, dan pola asuh, serta menawarkan solusi praktis. Pemecahan mencakup pengawasan konten media oleh orang tua, keteladanan guru, penguatan nilai agama, dan penciptaan lingkungan keluarga yang harmonis. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi dasar kebijakan preventif dan kuratif, sehingga tercipta lingkungan pendidikan yang aman dan mendukung perkembangan karakter siswa.

This approach encompasses a variety of curriculum design methods and strategies and focuses on key aspects of foreign language learning. The purpose of this article is to examine curricular approaches to foreign language teaching in Indonesia. This type of research is qualitative research (qualitative research). Qualitative research seeks to understand and interpret the meaning of events in specific situations from the researcher's unique perspective. Qualitative research is a research-based process for understanding the problems of understanding and interpreting texts and creating big pictures from words in a scientific setting. The data collection method used in this study is a data collection method using the library search method. The results of this study demonstrate that this approach has been used as a perspective for curriculum development. Each institution takes a different approach depending on the educational goals they are trying to achieve.

Curriculum Approaches in English Language Teaching in Indonesia

Abstract: This study used library research research methods to investigate curriculum approaches in English language teaching in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to identify curriculum approaches commonly used in English language… nguage teaching in Indonesia and to understand how these approaches shape teaching methods and strategies applied in language classrooms. In this study, the author conducted a comprehensive literature review of relevant literature, including textbooks, research journals, articles, and education policies related to English language teaching in Indonesia. The data collected were analyzed qualitatively to identify curriculum approaches commonly used in the context of English language teaching in Indonesia. The results of this study show that some curriculum approaches commonly used in English teaching in Indonesia include content-based approaches, communicative approaches, task-based approaches, and grammar-based approaches. The selection of this curriculum approach is based on the goals and objectives of the program, as well as the needs and interests of learners. In conclusion, in Indonesia, English teaching is influenced by various curriculum approaches, which shape the methods and strategies applied in language classes. The choice of curriculum approach in English language teaching depends on the goals and objectives of the program, as well as the needs and interests of learners. Different approaches can be used in combination to create a comprehensive and effective language learning experience so that language learners can easily master the language in a formal setting.

Abstract: The Independent curriculum is a new curriculum used in Indonesia and a transitional curriculum from K-13 curriculum. Therefore, this study aims to examine how the role of a teacher in implementing the new curriculum in the… he class they teach, especially English teachers. This study used library research methods, the data were taken from several articles and similar research. The source of data came from Google Scholar by using keywords the role of the teacher in the independent curriculum and the application of the independent curriculum in English classes. The results of this study indicate that English teachers are people who play an important role in implementing the independent curriculum. The English teacher in this curriculum acts as a giver of understanding, and has influence to improve the quality of education as well as an adapter that aligns the curriculum with the characteristics and needs of students. English teachers can implement an independent curriculum by changing teaching methods, using new strategies to improve learning outcomes. For curriculum implementation there are several strategies that English teachers can use such as games, music, using interactive learning media when teaching, then you can also use Role-play, Information-gap activities, Jigsaw activities, open-ended discussions and debates.

THE ANALYSIS OF THE FORMAT AND PRESENTATION OF ENGLISH COURSE IN CURRICULUM MERDEKA

Abstract: This article discusses the analysis of the format and presentation of the English course in the Merdeka Curriculum. The Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum with an intracurricular learning system that provides teachers with… th the freedom to choose teaching materials according to the needs and interests of the students. English is one of the subjects programmed in the Merdeka Curriculum. The English language learning in the Merdeka Curriculum is designed to help individuals improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English. This research adopts a library research method by collecting data and information from relevant literature sources. The collected data is analyzed through a review and understanding of existing literature. The research findings indicate that the Merdeka Curriculum provides comprehensive guidelines regarding identity, structure, teaching methods, and assessment, with a focus on flexibility in subject selection and the development of individual potential.

The Implementation Of Authentic Assessment In English Language Teaching

Abstract: This study aims to compare four types of authentic assessment in an educational context: project assessment, portfolio assessment, written assessment, and performance assessment. The research method used is library research.… rch. The research findings show that authentic assessment is effective in promoting deep concept understanding and application of knowledge in real situations. Project assessment provides students with opportunities to integrate skills and knowledge in tasks relevant to the real world. Portfolio assessment allows students to reflect on their development holistically through a collection of work. Simulation assessments give students the experience of applying knowledge in a structured context. Case study assessments develop critical thinking skills in complex situations. In conclusion, educators need to consider learning objectives and student characteristics in choosing the appropriate type of authentic assessment. This research provides practical guidance for educators in designing effective assessments that motivate students. The results of this study encourage further discussion and research on the development of authentic assessment methods in education.
