Grounded in framing theory, narrative theory, and social capital theory, the research explores how volunteers construct persuasive anti-drug messages through culturally rooted storytelling, emotional framing, and symbolic communication. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through interviews, focus groups, observations, and campaign materials with 18 youth volunteers. The findings reveal that volunteers effectively used personal experiences and local narratives to foster trust and collective identity, transforming individual challenges into shared stories of hope and resistance. Emotional strategies, such as gain-framed and fear-based appeals, were deliberately crafted to trigger empathy and promote behavioral change. Volunteers also capitalized on their deep integration within community networks to enhance message credibility and reach, cultivating both bonding and bridging social capital. The study challenges top-down approaches in health campaigns, illustrating the power of peer-led, culturally resonant communication. It contributes a layered communication model for grassroots health advocacy and underscores the transformative impact of narrative-driven volunteer engagement. The study recommends integrating cultural framing in training programs and exploring digital channels to scale grassroots messaging in future research.

ygotsky’s Sociocultural Theory and the Socialisation Theory, the study evaluates how the duration and frequency of gadget use influence key social competencies, including verbal communication, cooperative behavior, and empathy in children aged 3 to 6 years. Employing a quantitative, cross-sectional design, the study collected data from 100 children using parent-administered questionnaires and direct observational methods, followed by analysis through multiple linear regression. The findings demonstrate that both the duration and frequency of gadget use exert a statistically significant influence on children’s social interaction (p < 0.05), accounting for 19% of the variance (R² = 0.190). The remaining variation is likely influenced by external variables such as parenting styles, digital content quality, and psychological factors. These outcomes underscore the importance of regulated gadget use, active parental involvement, and integrative educational practices that promote both digital literacy and interpersonal development.

i Kota dan Kepala Pelaksana BPBD Kota Surabaya dalam mendukung penanggulangan bencana melalui kebijakan dan kegiatan yang dilakukan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk mengevaluasi dampak dan efektivitas langkah-langkah yang diambil oleh kedua pemangku kepentingan, menggunakan data sekunder dari peraturan daerah yang relevan. Kepemimpinan Wali Kota dinilai berdasarkan sembilan aspek: Peraturan Daerah tentang Penyelenggaraan Penanggulangan Bencana, pembentukan BPBD, Forum PRB, penyebaran informasi kebencanaan, Rencana Penanggulangan Bencana, Tataruang Berbasis Pengurangan Risiko Bencana, alokasi anggaran, RPJMD, dan dukungan lainnya untuk BPBD. Sementara itu, kepemimpinan Kepala Pelaksana BPBD dinilai berdasarkan enam aspek: pengkajian risiko dan perencanaan terpadu, pengembangan sistem informasi, pendidikan dan logistik, penanganan kawasan rawan bencana, peningkatan efektivitas pencegahan dan mitigasi bencana, kesiapsiagaan dan penanganan darurat bencana, serta pemulihan bencana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan Wali Kota Surabaya telah melaksanakan 8 dari 9 aspek penting penanggulangan bencana, mencerminkan komitmen kuat dalam memperkuat kerangka hukum dan operasional. Sementara itu, kepemimpinan Kepala Pelaksana BPBD juga efektif dalam menjalankan enam aspek utama. Kebijakan dan inisiatif Wali Kota Eri Cahyadi dan Kepala BPBD Agus Hebi Djuniantoro menunjukkan kesiapan dan kapasitas Surabaya dalam mengelola risiko bencana secara komprehensif sangat mendukung penanggulangan bencana di Kota Surabaya.

ingin mengetahui peran ormas pada bidang pengembangan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan (library research). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ormas Islam didirikan dengan tujuan mulia yaitu menjawab keresahan dan melayani kebutuhan masyarakat pada aspek keberagamaan. Untuk mengeksplor lebih dalam tentang perilaku keberagamaan dalam konteks sosial setidaknya membutuhkan tiga pendekatan, yaitu pendekatan sosial, pendekatan agama, dan pendekatan psikologi. Awal munculnya ormas Islam dapat dikelompokkan pada tiga alasan yaitu: pertama, dakwah Islami; kedua, pendidikan; dan ketiga, pemberdayaan ekonomi umat. Ketiga alasan inilah yang melatarbelakangi pergerakan Islam saat itu, sebab urusan politik diawasi dan dikontrol oleh penjajah Hindia Belanda. Kelahiran organisasi keagamaan Islam diawali dengan adanya Jami’at Al Khair di Jakarta (1905), kemudian Al Irsyad (1911), merupakan ormas keturunan Arab di Indonesia pengembangan dari Jami’at Al Khair, seterusnya muncul Syarikat Dagang Islam (1911), dan berikutnya lahir Muhammadiyah di Yogyakarta (1912), Persatuan Islam (1923) di Bandung, Nahdatul Ulama di Surabaya (1926), Al Jami’atul Washliyah di Medan (1930) serta Persatuan Tarbiyah Islamiyah (PERTI) di Canduang Bukittinggi dan Al Ittihadiyah di Medan (l935).

Pertanyaan yang akan dijawab dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Apa sejarah munculnya Al-Qur’an Terjemah Bahasa Madura? (2) Bagaimana konteks lokal dalam Al-Qur’an dan terjemahannya dalam bahasa Madura. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Al-Qur'an terjemah Bahasa Madura terbagi menjadi tiga jenis, yang masing-masing merupakan kesatuan. Pertama, karya dari Jamaah Pengajian Surabaya (JPS), kedua, dari Lembaga Penerjemahan dan Pengkajian Al-Qur'an (LP2Q), dan ketiga, karya Tim Penerjemah IAIN Madura. Model penerjemahan yang diterapkan adalah model dinamis atau komunikatif, yang dalam istilah ulumul Qur'an dikenal sebagai terjemah harfiyyah atau tafsiriyyah. Proses penerjemahan dilakukan dengan menyesuaikan dengan bahasa dan budaya Madura, bukan hanya berdasarkan struktur gramatikal bahasa Arab sebagai sumber. Dialek yang digunakan dalam terjemahan umumnya adalah dialek Pamekasan-Sumenep, meskipun ada bagian yang menggunakan dialek Bangkalan-Sampang. Hirarki bahasa Madura yang diterapkan dalam penerjemahan bervariasi tergantung pada struktur dan ayat yang diterjemahkan, mencakup tingkatan iyâ-enjâ', engghi-enten, tèngghi/alos, serta bhâsa enghhi-bhuntèn. r marriage dispensations through Article 7 paragraph (2). This normative loophole raises academic questions about how the law works in social reality and how preventive measures can be institutionalized. This study aims to assess the implementation of regional policies, particularly Perwali No. 32 of 2024, and to examine the practices of religious courts in deciding on marriage dispensations using Lawrence M. Friedman's Legal System Theory and the principle of Sadd al-Dzarīʿah as analytical tools. Empirical research methods were used through interviews, observations, documentation, and qualitative analysis of two cases of marriage dispensation that were rejected and granted. The results of the study show that the significant decrease in the number of marriage dispensations in Surabaya occurred due to the synergy of the legal structure (Religious Court, DP3APPKB, Ministry of Religious Affairs, RT/RW), legal substance through the Perwali which tightened procedures, and changes in the legal culture of society. The courts applied new standards that are more protective and based on maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah , making marriage dispensations an emergency mechanism rather than a legalization of child marriage. This study provides theoretical implications in the form of an integrative model between maqāṣid and the modern legal system, as well as practical implications in the form of recommendations to replicate the Surabaya model in other regions in an effort to protect children.

trengths and weaknesses of Controlled Speaking Practices and it was also to find whether Controlled Speaking Practices is effective in improving the speaking skill of senior students or not. The study took place at SMA TA’MIRIYAH Surabaya. The school carried out Controlled Speaking Practices in conversation class in the first grade of senior high school students. Qualitative descriptive approach and observation were applied in this study. The writer used recording and field notes as the techniques in conducting observation. The writer analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of controlled speaking practice which were according to three aspects: the result of practicing the task, how the teacher conducted the task, and the way students’ talk in the class. From the data analysis, Controlled Speaking Practices also can indicate that this is the right technique to improve the students’ speaking skill. The researcher concluded that Controlled Speaking Practices might be a tool of practice speaking English which can assist the students to achieve good speaking English.
