any containing harmful substances such as mercury, hydroquinone, and more. This issue began to surface when a beauty doctor, often referred to as the "Detective Doctor," examined and exposed skincare products suspected of being unregistered and containing dangerous ingredients. This research aims to analyze the role of health communication in raising public awareness about the skincare mafia practices through the role of the "Detective Doctor." The method used is qualitative descriptive analysis with case studies of several campaigns conducted by the "Detective Doctor" on social media and other public channels. The results show that the "Detective Doctor" not only reveals dangerous skincare products through scientific research but also plays a role in delivering information to the public via accessible communication platforms such as social media and podcasts. This campaign successfully increased public awareness of the importance of choosing safe beauty products, as well as the importance of verifying skincare product ingredients. This research highlights the significant role of health communication in combating illegal practices in the beauty industry and demonstrates how the "Detective Doctor" can be an agent of change in public health education.

years have experienced cyberbullying. This community service aims to prevent digital bullying through digital literacy education for children at the Muhammadiyah Boys and Girls Orphanage in Kediri City. This activity integrates character education, social skills, and media etiquette. Through the CBR (Community Based Research) method, steps for preventing, reporting, and handling bullying are developed which are expected to be pioneers of anti-bullying campaigns. The results of the community service activities show that the participants can receive digital literacy education to combat cyberbullying well. Children can understand the forms included in cyberbullying and understand the procedures for reporting to relevant parties. Through this activity, participants also understand digital literacy in general and through interactive digital literacy snakes and ladders game activities. This ultimately further improves children's digital literacy knowledge and skills, especially in efforts to combat cyberbullying.

Abstract:This study investigates the communicative practices of youth volunteers involved in Surabaya’s Kelurahan Bersinar anti-drug initiative, highlighting the role of grassroots messaging in shaping public health discourse. Grounded…
Grounded in framing theory, narrative theory, and social capital theory, the research explores how volunteers construct persuasive anti-drug messages through culturally rooted storytelling, emotional framing, and symbolic communication. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through interviews, focus groups, observations, and campaign materials with 18 youth volunteers. The findings reveal that volunteers effectively used personal experiences and local narratives to foster trust and collective identity, transforming individual challenges into shared stories of hope and resistance. Emotional strategies, such as gain-framed and fear-based appeals, were deliberately crafted to trigger empathy and promote behavioral change. Volunteers also capitalized on their deep integration within community networks to enhance message credibility and reach, cultivating both bonding and bridging social capital. The study challenges top-down approaches in health campaigns, illustrating the power of peer-led, culturally resonant communication. It contributes a layered communication model for grassroots health advocacy and underscores the transformative impact of narrative-driven volunteer engagement. The study recommends integrating cultural framing in training programs and exploring digital channels to scale grassroots messaging in future research.
Abstract:Automatic detection of hate speech and abusive language is crucial for combating online toxicity. This study explores Gaussian Naive Bayes for multi-label classification of hate speech on Indonesian Twitter, including target,…
rget, category, and level. We combined TF-IDF features with contextual BERT embeddings. The model achieved balanced performance for general hate speech and good non-abusive language detection. However, it exhibited limitations with imbalanced data and specific hate speech types. The classifier consistently favored the majority class (non-hateful/non-abusive) across labels, particularly struggling with HS_Gender, HS_Physical, etc. This suggests difficulty detecting less frequent but potentially severe hate speech, likely due to limited training data. Overall accuracy and F1-scores confirm that while Gaussian Naive Bayes is efficient, it lacks robustness for nuanced multi-label classification with imbalanced datasets. This necessitates exploring alternative approaches for effectively detecting specific and less frequent hate speech.

Abstract:This study observes university students' perspectives on corruption and civic integrity in Indonesia through a survey of 24 active students. The survey covered aspects such as awareness of corruption, the importance of personal…
ersonal integrity, and the role of students in combating corruption. The majority of respondents acknowledge the importance of integrity in daily life, demonstrate a fair understanding of corruption issues, and recognize a significant role for students in anti-corruption efforts. However, skepticism exists regarding the effectiveness of Indonesia's legal system in addressing corruption. The findings underscore the need for enhanced education on the dangers of corruption, the reinforcement of integrity values, and a call for more transparent and rigorous law enforcement.

n three places namely Bada, Lore and Napu. Although the policy for handling schistosomiasis snails and the impact of the disease has been handled since the colonial era, the Indonesian government has only taken serious action since 1982, which has not been completed until now. The absence of a common view on the problem of schistosomiasis has resulted in an asynchronous implementation of programs and activities related to the alleviation of schistosomiasis. This primary data collection technique also uses secondary data that comes from the Poso health office, the Bada schistosomiasis laboratory and the implementation of triangulation of actors, methods and data through focus group discussions which are expected to be able to map out the issues of involvement and the similarity of viewing problems in the management of schistosomiasis control in the context of the study This takes the area of Bada which is relatively successful although not yet complete. The collaboration model by collaborating with various internal institutional elements of the local government in each related regional apparatus organization, involving the community as an important part by becoming stool collectors, the presence of teachers and priests who provide strengthening information regarding the urgency of participation and collaboration to solve schistosomiasis has a broad impact on program achievements this.
