This study uses a qualitative approach that describes the object of study through the process of extracting facts and object data in the field. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study indicate that the work commitment of the Madrasah principal in improving the effectiveness of private MTs in the Riau Islands is not optimal, because there are still many aspects that have not been achieved in terms of realization, budget constraints for the procurement of Madrasah facilities and infrastructure, increasing the professionalism of human resources, and other facilities that are still very limited. For this reason, the head of private MTs in the Riau Islands Province tries to improve the effectiveness of madrasas by implementing strategic educational development concepts. The roles played by the head of the Madrasah are; 1) focusing on common interests, 2) improving communication and understanding, 3) increasing involvement and participation, and 4) avoiding win-lose solutions. These roles are very helpful in realizing increased effectiveness of education in madrasas.

This research aims to explore the factors influencing individual investment interest in PT. Indonex Bangun Investama, a key player in the Indonesian capital market. The research adopts a quantitative approach involving 82 active investors of PT. Indonex Bangun Investama. Data analysis utilizes various statistical techniques such as normality tests, multicollinearity tests, and multiple linear regression analysis to examine the impact of risk, motivation, and investment knowledge variables on investment interest. The analysis results indicate that risk and motivation significantly affect investment interest, while investment knowledge, although important, does not significantly influence investment interest individually. These findings provide deeper insights into the psychological and economic factors underlying individual investment decisions in the Indonesian capital market. The implications of this research suggest the need for a more holistic and strategic educational approach to enhance financial literacy and effective risk mitigation in individual investment strategies. Thus, this research makes a significant contribution to the development of education strategies and risk management in the Indonesian capital market context, laying a foundation for further discussions on expanding accessibility and participation in investment among the public.

The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method with an Ex Post Facto approach. The population of this study is class X students of SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak for the 2023/2024 school year.The data collection techniques in this article are direct communication techniques and also use questionnaires. The validity test of the instrument is used to assess whether the instrument can accurately disclose the data of the variable being studied. The validity of the content and construct was assessed through expert assessment by three validators, consisting of two IT lecturers and one Informatics teacher, to evaluate the suitability of the questionnaire about learning interests and learning disciplines. The data from this research includes information about students of SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak class XA, XB, XC, XD, XE, XF, XG, XH, XI which amounted to 322 students who had previously been observed, this was done to find out the problems at SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak before a study was conducted. The research carried out included one bound variable, namely Learning Outcome (Y), and two independent variables, namely Learning Interest (X1) and Learning Discipline (X2) Variable Data for X1 and X2 was obtained from a questionnaire with a likert scale answer model of 4 (four) alternative answers that were distributed according to the sample needs to 167 students who were the research sample.

The Android operating system is based on a Graphical User Interface (GUI), which makes it easy for students to see how the system works on the outside. This makes using Android smartphones as teaching tools very helpful. Additionally, the portability and wide availability of Android tablets make it easy for students to access educational materials without being limited by time or space. The goal of making engaging learning materials about informatics for high school students in the seventh grade at SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak City is to make learning fun and useful. SMP Negeri 6 Satap Baraka, including supportive and inhibiting factors affecting the implementation of these strategies. The approach used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis. Data sources include the school principal, vice principal, PR team, committee, and the community. Data collection methods consist of interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involve data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that public relations management strategies to increase student enrollment at SMP Negeri 6 Satap Baraka include: 1) Operational Strategies such as the PR team having specific efforts or mechanisms to manage PR programs involving the community and school committee; 2) Persuasive and Educational Strategies including distributing brochures containing the school's vision, mission, and advantages, as well as conducting socialization to emphasize the importance of education for children; 3) Social Responsibility Strategies like door-to-door visits to maintain relationships between the school and the community, and participating in community and institutional activities; 4) Collaboration Strategies involving partnerships with local health centers and participating in community work activities; 5) Supporting factors such as community support and maintaining harmonious relationships fostering good school credibility; 6) Inhibiting factors such as inadequate road infrastructure and the majority of parents being farmers, making it difficult to reach them. The triggering factor discouraging enrollment in this school is the presence of more competitive schools with larger student bodies and an Islamic environment.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing students’ cognitive abilities in learning Physics through a meta-analysis. The PBL model emphasizes student-centered learning, where students are invited to solve real and relevant problems, thus increasing engagement and deeper conceptual understanding. Data were collected from 20 research articles published between 2017 and 2024, which discuss students’ cognitive abilities and the PBL approach. The meta-analysis results show that PBL has a significant effect on improving students’ cognitive abilities in Physics, with 13 articles showing high effect sizes, 3 articles moderate effect sizes, and 4 articles low effect sizes. PBL has proven effective in developing students’ critical, creative, and analytical thinking skills. Additionally, PBL enhances students’ active participation in the learning process and facilitates the understanding and application of Physics concepts in various practical situations. This study asserts that PBL is an effective method for improving students’ cognitive abilities in learning Physics at the high school level, by fostering critical thinking, communication, and practical knowledge application skills. These findings underscore the importance of using innovative learning models such as PBL to advance Physics education and improve student learning outcomes.

The purpose of writing this literature review is none other than to explain in detail the development of individuals in facing developments in science, which has so far become a topic of discussion in the world of education. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, namely research in the form of a literature study which aims to analyze, evaluate, identify, observe, find and determine relevant research topics. The results of data analysis conclude that science and technology are human achievements that must be utilized in understanding and practicing something. In line with this principle, science is actually a process experienced by individuals in their development. The poorer the knowledge, the narrower the insight in understanding something, the narrower a person's thinking about a science. In conclusion, development is a skill in the structure and function of the body or an increase in more complex abilities in a regular and predictable pattern as a result of experience and the maturation process. The ADDIE paradigm is employed in the research and development process. This learning media is developed through a sequential process consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The participants in this study were eighth-grade students from Singkawang 4 State Middle School. The product feasibility testing step was conducted by a pair of media specialists and one material specialist. The research findings indicated that the feasibility evaluation conducted by media specialists obtained a score of 155 out of a total possible score of 168, placing it in the “very feasible” category. The examination conducted by material experts achieved a score of 71 out of a possible 80, placing it in the “very feasible” category. The mean score attained from the extensive evaluation of 33 eighth-grade students at Singkawang State Middle School 4 was 2550 out of a possible maximum score of 3036. The assessment categorized the score as “highly appropriate” for utilization as a learning tool.
