Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sistem mampu membedakan kendaraan yang bergerak dengan objek statis secara akurat melalui Virtual Counting Line. Dengan beban komputasi yang ringan dan biaya rendah, sistem ini efektif menjadi solusi otomatisasi manajemen parkir di lingkungan kampus.
Parking management issues at Politeknik Jambi often lead to inefficiencies due to manual counting systems prone to human error. This study aims to design an automatic vehicle counting system based on digital image processing. The method utilizes Background Subtraction with the MOG2 algorithm and OpenCV using smartphone video input. The system integrates image preprocessing, morphological operations, and Euclidean Distance Tracker to track and count vehicles in real-time. The results demonstrate that the system can accurately distinguish between moving vehicles and static objects via a Virtual Counting Line. With low computational requirements and cost-effectiveness, this system offers an efficient automation solution for campus parking management.

From initial observations, it was seen that students' enthusiasm for learning tended to be low, as seen from their inactive attitudes, little interaction, and easily distracted when teachers used less diverse learning methods. To address this, a Smartboard was proposed as an innovative solution. This tool is an interactive whiteboard that uses multimedia and audiovisual technology, so it can combine teaching materials with images, videos, and animations to make learning more interesting and diverse. The method used in this study was the correlation method, namely a quantitative method that studies the relationship between the use of Smartboard interactive features and the level of student enthusiasm for learning. The results showed that the use of Smartboard in learning was proven to be able to increase student enthusiasm for learning. After implementing the Smartboard, students appeared more active and enthusiastic during the learning process, so that their enthusiasm for learning increased and reduced boredom. The implementation of Smartboard involves game-based learning methods such as Duck Race Games and Wordwall, which successfully trigger students' curiosity, focus, and enthusiasm, and encourage them to actively participate in answering questions and interacting in class.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki berbagai tantangan etika sosial yang muncul terkait dengan pemakaian media sosial dan merumuskan solusi yang dapat dilaksanakan oleh individu, masyarakat, institusi pendidikan, pemerintah, serta penyedia platform media sosial. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode tinjauan pustaka, mengacu pada cara yang diterapkan untuk menggali informasi dan pengetahuan yang bersumber dari referensi buku, jurnal dan artikel yang relevan dengan etika komunikasi serta pemanfaatan media sosial pada era digital. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya tantangan dalam etika sosial yang paling penting dalam media sosial meliputi penyebaran informasi yang tidak benar serta hoaks, anonimitas yang mengurangi rasa tanggung jawab, meningkatnya ujaran kebencian dan perundungan siber, serta hilangnya rasa empati dalam komunikasi digital. Banyak pengguna media sosial yang tidak menyadari bahwa tindakan mereka, serta unggahan dan komentar yang dibuat, dapat berdampak pada orang lain dan masyarakat secara umum. This research aims to explore the challenges faced by Mechanical Engineering Education (PTM) students in maintaining Islamic discipline amid high academic demands. The method used is a Literature Review with a critical approach, which collects and analyzes various literature to identify gaps in knowledge. The main findings reveal that the primary challenges include the decline of ethical values such as honesty due to the impact of social changes and technological advancements, the risk of weakened character caused by the influence of global secular culture, and the heavy curriculum burden that leads to mental and physical exhaustion as well as conflicts between academic schedules and religious obligations. Furthermore, students' excessive focus on achieving high GPA and technical skills often neglects moral development, compounded by the lack of integration of the ta’dib concept and insufficient support from social environments that can enforce discipline. Therefore, a holistic and integrated solution is necessary to make Islamic ethics the foundation of academic and professional behavior,balancing technical expertise and spiritual aspects so that PTM students can become competent individuals with strong Islamic character.

main criticisms of the Islamic world is the tendency to understand the Qur'an and Sunnah
literally without considering their historical and social context. He offers a double movement
methodology, an approach that traces the original meaning of the text in its historical
context, then applies it to modern conditions. This approach allows Islam to remain
relevant without losing its essence. In addition to the interpretation methodology, Rahman
also contributed to the reform of Islamic education, the integration of science with religion,
and the reconstruction of Islamic law based on the principle of maqasid al-shariah. He
emphasized the importance of reopening the door of ijtihad so that Muslims do not get
caught up in taqlid, namely the attitude of accepting Islamic law dogmatically without
critical evaluation. Rahman also criticized Islamic fundamentalism which tends to reject
modernity absolutely, as well as radical secularism which seeks to eliminate the spiritual
aspect of human life. According to him, Muslims must be able to adopt the positive aspects
of modernity, such as the development of science and technology, without sacrificing
Islamic values. With a more rational and contextual approach, Rahman provides a
foundation for Islamic renewal that is not only based on tradition, but also open to the
development of the times. His thoughts offer solutions to various global challenges faced by Muslims, including in
legal, social, and economic aspects. Thus, modernity is not a threat to Islam, but rather
an opportunity to strengthen Islamic values in the lives of contemporary society.

This paper examines the ethics of Ibn Miskawayh, a 10th-century Muslim philosopher, specifically the concept of hifz al-nasl (preservation of lineage) as one of the five maqasid al-shari’a (Islamic principles), to address this issue. Hifz al-nasl emphasizes the protection of human lineage, including family honor, women’s dignity, and social integrity, which are relevant to the psychological damage, trauma, and moral degradation caused by deepfakes. Through an analysis of the texts Tahdhib al-Akhlaq and Al-Fauz al-Asghar, this concept is outlined as a preventive and curative principle: prevention through strengthening individual morals and regulating technology, and treatment through restorative justice. Ibn Miskawayh combines Aristotelian philosophy with Islam, making hifz al-nasl a collective obligation to maintain the balance of the soul (nafs) and society. Its applications to deepfakes include: (1) ethical use of AI based on piety and ‘adl; (2) legal regulations that protect privacy as an extension of preserving lineage; and (3) moral education to build digital resilience. This study concludes that Ibn Miskawaih’s approach offers a holistic framework, integrating spiritual, ethical, and legal dimensions, that is more adaptive than technological solutions alone. Recommendations include the development of contemporary fatwas and ethical AI platforms for the digital age.

The solution implemented involved a service-learning approach through instructional sessions and direct observation with business managers to understand the production process, marketing strategies, and quality management practices. The purpose of this activity was to identify innovation and branding practices rooted in the authenticity of local products, as well as to provide academic contributions through the application of management theories in real MSME contexts. This program also contributed to the partner by preparing business development recommendations based on innovation and digital marketing. The findings reveal that product innovation utilizing local bee biodiversity, the implementation of ISO-standard quality systems, and the use of digital media have strengthened the brand image and competitiveness of Rumah Madu. This experience demonstrates that service learning serves as an effective approach in bridging academic learning with the enhancement of local business capacity in a sustainable manner.
