Yulista, Tikollah, M. Ridwan, Afiah, Nur
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effects of professionalism, independence, and work motivation on audit quality at the South Sulawesi Provincial Inspectorate, both simultaneously and partially, and to identify the most dominant… inant factor influencing audit quality. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The research population consisted of all auditors at the South Sulawesi Provincial Inspectorate. A saturated sampling technique was applied, resulting in 53 respondents whose questionnaires were successfully collected and met the research criteria. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that professionalism, independence, and work motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on audit quality. This finding is supported by an F-value of 25.053 with a significance level of 0.001 and an adjusted R-squared value of 0.581, indicating that the three variables explain 58.1% of the variation in audit quality. Partially, professionalism has a positive and significant effect on audit quality, as indicated by a t-value of 2.983 and a significance level of 0.004. Work motivation also has a positive and significant effect on audit quality, with a t-value of 2.910 and a significance level of 0.005. In contrast, independence does not have a significant effect on audit quality, as reflected by a t-value of 1.184 and a significance level of 0.242. Among the examined variables, professionalism has the strongest influence on audit quality, followed by work motivation and independence. These findings suggest that strengthening auditors’ professionalism and work motivation is essential for improving audit quality within the South Sulawesi Provincial Inspectorate.

The Effect of Work-Life Balance and Career Development on The Organizational Commitment of Employees at The Rimba Belian Palm Oil Mill Unit, Region 5, PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV

Sari, Septi Aulia, Yasmin, Devi
Abstract: Maintaining employee commitment is particularly important in palm oil mill operations, where shift work, physical demands, and limited career development opportunities may affect employees’ attachment to the organization.… on. This study examines the influence of work-life balance and career development on the organizational commitment of operational employees at the Rimba Belian Palm Oil Mill Unit, Region 5, PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV. A quantitative associative design was employed, involving all 114 operational employees through a census approach. Data were collected using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression after completing instrument and classical assumption tests. The findings indicate that work-life balance and career development each have a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment. Both variables also jointly contribute significantly to strengthening employees’ commitment to the organization. Work-life balance showed a relatively stronger contribution, suggesting that employees’ ability to manage work demands and personal responsibilities is particularly important in a shift-based operational environment. This study extends the discussion of organizational commitment to the palm oil agro-industry, which remains less frequently examined than service and public-sector organizations. The findings imply that management should improve shift arrangements, rest periods, access to training, and the transparency of promotion and career development processes to maintain employees’ long-term commitment

THE INFLUENCE OF PERCEIVED ACCESSIBILITY, MERCHANT SALES PROMOTION, AND PAIN OF PAYING ON IMPULSE BUYING AMONG QRIS USERS AMONG GEN Z IN MANADO CITY

Ratag, Melbourne Vichard Angelo, Ogi, Imelda W J, Loindong, Sjendry S R
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived accessibility, merchant sales promotion, and pain of paying on impulsive buying among Generation Z QRIS users in Manado City, both partially and simultaneously. This research… earch is motivated by the rapid growth of QRIS usage in Indonesia, which reached a transaction value of IDR 317 trillion with more than 57 million active users in the second quarter of 2025, alongside the increasing phenomenon of unplanned purchasing behavior among Generation Z as the primary users of this digital payment technology. This study employs a quantitative approach with a causal design (explanatory research). The theoretical foundations used are the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) Theory and Mental Accounting Theory. The study population consists of Generation Z QRIS users in Manado City, with a sample of 100 respondents determined using the Lemeshow formula and purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire measured using a Likert Scale. The analysis technique employed is multiple linear regression using IBM SPSS 27 software, encompassing validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, F-test, t-test, and coefficient of determination (R²) test. The results indicate that: (1) Perceived accessibility has a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying (t = 2.176; Sig. = 0.032); (2) Merchant sales promotion has a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying (t = 2.279; Sig. = 0.025); (3) Pain of paying has a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying and is the most dominant variable (t = 3.150; Sig. = 0.002; β = 0.314); (4) Simultaneously, all three variables have a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying (F = 9.972; Sig. < 0.001). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.238 indicates that the three independent variables explain 23.8% of the variation in impulsive buying, while the remaining 76.2% is influenced by other factors outside this research model.

The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires to 60 MSME owners in Ambon City. The data analysis techniques included validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²) analysis using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The results indicate that the implementation of financial measurement instruments does not have a significant effect on the quality of MSME financial performance assessment, with a significance value of 0.209 > 0.05. Meanwhile, quantification methods have a positive and significant effect on the quality of MSME financial performance assessment, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, the implementation of financial measurement instruments and quantification methods significantly affects the quality of MSME financial performance assessment, as indicated by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.797, indicating that 79.7% of the variation in the quality of MSME financial performance assessment can be explained by the two independent variables, while the remaining 20.3% is influenced by other factors outside the research model.

The Effects of Market Access and Logistics Efficiency on The Competitiveness of Salt Farmers in Jeneponto Regency

Aswar, Nurul Fadilah, Hasmyati, Anwar, Nur Indah Atifah, Parawansa, Dian Anggraece Sigit, Musa, Muhammad Ichwan
Abstract: constrained by limited buyer options, price-information gaps, high distribution costs, inadequate storage facilities, and fragmented product flows. This study examines the effects of market access and logistics efficiency… y on the competitiveness of salt farmers. A quantitative explanatory survey was conducted with 100 active salt farmers. The three constructs were measured using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression. Market access had a positive and statistically significant effect on competitiveness (p < 0.05), indicating that broader buyer networks, timely price information, alternative marketing channels, and stronger negotiating opportunities improve farmers’ ability to reach markets and sustain sales. Logistics efficiency also had a positive and significant effect (p < 0.05); reliable transportation, lower distribution costs, appropriate storage, proper handling, and shorter delivery times help preserve quality and reduce avoidable losses. The simultaneous test confirmed that both variables jointly affected competitiveness (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that increasing production alone is insufficient when farmers cannot reach profitable markets through efficient product flows. Collective marketing, transparent market information, shared storage, coordinated transportation, and direct relationships with processing industries are therefore essential for strengthening farmers’ bargaining power and market performance
