uantitative approach with a causal-associative design and utilizes secondary data obtained from official publications of Bank Indonesia (BI) and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research population consists of 45 banking companies, from which 20 companies meeting the sampling criteria were selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted comprehensively through descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing with the assistance of SPSS software. The findings reveal that, partially, exchange rates have a significant negative effect on stock prices, and interest rates also exert a significant negative effect. Furthermore, simultaneous testing confirms that both independent variables significantly and negatively influence banking stock prices. These results highlight that macroeconomic volatility, particularly exchange rate fluctuations and interest rate movements, are crucial determinants to be considered in capital market analysis. Academically, this study contributes to the literature on the relationship between macroeconomic indicators and stock price dynamics, while practically, the results may serve as a reference for investors in making investment decisions, for policymakers in formulating economic stabilization strategies, and for banking institutions in anticipating market risks arising from both global and domestic economic uncertainty.
Abstract:Economic growth is a key indicator in assessing a country's ability to sustainably increase the output of goods and services. This study aims to analyze the effect of trade openness (TO) and the interaction between foreign…
gn direct investment (FDI) and political stability (PS) on economic growth in member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The study utilizes panel data from 30 OIC member countries over the period 2005–2023, sourced from the World Bank’s World Development Indicators (WDI). The analytical method employed is panel data regression using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) to control for individual heterogeneity across countries, as well as Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to test the moderating role of PS in the relationship between FDI and economic growth. The estimation results show that both TO and FDI have a positive and significant impact on economic growth. However, the interaction between FDI and PS exhibits a negative and significant effect, which contradicts conventional theoretical expectations that political stability should enhance the positive impact of FDI. These findings suggest that in several OIC countries, despite relatively low political stability, FDI continues to flow in response to economic opportunities, strategic interests, or domestic market appeal. In other words, political instability does not always serve as a major barrier to foreign investment, especially when the economic potential remains high. Moreover, FDI under such conditions may serve as an important instrument to strengthen international economic cooperation, expand production capacity, and drive long-term economic growth. These findings provide strategic implications for the formulation of investment and institutional stability policies in OIC countries.
Abstract:The Constitution of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) stipulates that the interests of the people must be voiced and accommodated through legislative channels, represented by the People's Representative…
ve Council (DPR) from the regional to the central government levels. However, it is often found that the hopes of the people are not fully articulated, resulting in certain issues never reaching a final resolution. This study aims to analyze the role of the DPR in voicing the people's interests based on the fourth principle of Pancasila. The method used in this research is qualitative with a literature study approach, where data is collected from various scientific sources. The results of the analysis show that the main functions of the DPR, namely in legislation, oversight, and budgeting, have not been fully optimized due to weak accountability and transparency. This crisis of representation impacts the decline in public trust, low political participation, and increased polarization in society. To address these issues, systemic reforms are needed, including enhancing transparency, strengthening accountability mechanisms, and involving the public actively in the decision-making process. Thus, the goal of the DPR’s existence, which can be achieved, is to voice the will of the people, realize deliberation for consensus, and ensure justice and welfare in line with the substance of Pancasila’s ideology, particularly its fourth principle. This study recommends the need to restore the essence of deliberation for consensus in accordance with the fourth principle of Pancasila, accompanied by better political education and electoral system reforms to ensure that elected representatives are truly competent and focused on the interests of the people.
Abstract:This study was conducted to see the work commitment of the Madrasah principal in improving the effectiveness of Private Junior High Schools (MTs) in the Riau Islands. As an effort to improve the quality of education in madrasas,…
adrasas, it is hoped that private madrasas can compete with other public schools. This study uses a qualitative approach that describes the object of study through the process of extracting facts and object data in the field. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study indicate that the work commitment of the Madrasah principal in improving the effectiveness of private MTs in the Riau Islands is not optimal, because there are still many aspects that have not been achieved in terms of realization, budget constraints for the procurement of Madrasah facilities and infrastructure, increasing the professionalism of human resources, and other facilities that are still very limited. For this reason, the head of private MTs in the Riau Islands Province tries to improve the effectiveness of madrasas by implementing strategic educational development concepts. The roles played by the head of the Madrasah are; 1) focusing on common interests, 2) improving communication and understanding, 3) increasing involvement and participation, and 4) avoiding win-lose solutions. These roles are very helpful in realizing increased effectiveness of education in madrasas.

apital market still faces significant challenges, particularly in terms of risk understanding, perception, and individual motivation for investment. This research aims to explore the factors influencing individual investment interest in PT. Indonex Bangun Investama, a key player in the Indonesian capital market. The research adopts a quantitative approach involving 82 active investors of PT. Indonex Bangun Investama. Data analysis utilizes various statistical techniques such as normality tests, multicollinearity tests, and multiple linear regression analysis to examine the impact of risk, motivation, and investment knowledge variables on investment interest. The analysis results indicate that risk and motivation significantly affect investment interest, while investment knowledge, although important, does not significantly influence investment interest individually. These findings provide deeper insights into the psychological and economic factors underlying individual investment decisions in the Indonesian capital market. The implications of this research suggest the need for a more holistic and strategic educational approach to enhance financial literacy and effective risk mitigation in individual investment strategies. Thus, this research makes a significant contribution to the development of education strategies and risk management in the Indonesian capital market context, laying a foundation for further discussions on expanding accessibility and participation in investment among the public.

ll-being of shareholders and attracts investors’ interest. Corporate value is often gauged by the stock price in the capital market, making it crucial for companies to plan sound financial strategies. This research focuses on the banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021 to 2023, evaluating the influence of investment policy, dividend policy, and profitability on corporate value. The study employs a descriptive quantitative method using secondary data from the companies’ financial reports. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to assess the relationships between these variables. The results indicate that investment policy and profitability have a positive but not significant effect on corporate value, while dividend policy has a significant positive impact. Corporate value is also affected by stock price fluctuations, which are often inconsistent. These findings affirm that dividend policy is a crucial factor in enhancing corporate value, while investment policy and profitability, although important, do not have a significant impact within the study period. Overall, these independent variables collectively have a significant influence on corporate value in the banking sector on the IDX. This research provides insights for company management in formulating effective strategies to increase corporate value.
