he research method used is the library research research method, library research is research carried out using library literature. The data collection process focuses on collecting various sources and relevant data, scientific literature, and other writings related to thoughts on educational reform in Minangkabau. The results of the research show that there are thoughts about educational reform carried out by several prominent figures in Minangkabau such as Abdul Karim Amrullah, Abdullah Ahmad, Rahmah El-Yunusiyah, and Sheikh Sulaiman Ar-rasuli. The results of the thinking of these figures were to change the education system from halaqah to madrasa, organizing the place of study with a classroom system, using classical books as the main learning source, adding general subjects such as arithmetic, natural sciences and so on. Among the legacies of figures who contributed greatly to Islamic education in Minangkabau are Sumatra Tawalib Padang Panjang, Adabiah School, Diniyah Putri Padang Panjang, and MTI Canduang. It is hoped that the results of this research will be able to guide progress in the field of education, especially Islamic education in Minangkabau, then this research is also expected to be able to become a reference and benchmark for further research on different topics.

Islamic education began to develop from the time of the Prophet, the time of Khulafaur Rasyidin, the time of the Umayyah Daulah, the time of the Abbasid Daulah, until the present. Islamic education during the time of the Abbasid Daula experienced a golden age, at which time Islamic education was marked by amazing progress in the fields of science, culture and civilization, so that its existence can be proven through various sources of information recorded in history books and observers of history from various parts of the world that were once ruled by Islam. The aim of writing this article is to discuss the dynamics of Islamic education during the Abbasid period and its role in the development of Islamic education. The research method used in this research is library research. Sources of information for this research were obtained through various sources, print media, online media regarding the topics discussed. In this research, validation tests were carried out on experts, namely media experts, language experts, and material experts. The validation results from media experts obtained 83% with very feasible criteria. The linguist's validation results were 100% with very feasible criteria. The material expert validation results were 94.4% with very feasible criteria. The results of the student response questionnaire were 97.4% with very adequate criteria. These results show that interactive video learning media using Canva on theme 1 the Beauty of Togetherness subtheme 1 learning 1 is proven valid, interesting, innovative, and very suitable for use in the learning process.

The results of this study are 1) preparation for the implementation of simaan at the Ar-raudhoh Islamic boarding school, namely by repeating memorization as often as possible and for a long time. 2) the implementation of the simaan method in the Ar-raudhoh islamic boarding school is a.simaan weekly, b.simaan semester, c.simaan memorization even 5, 10,15, 20, 25 juz, d.simaan kubro is simaan 30 juz in one sitting. 3) the simaan method can improve the memorization of the Qur'an in the Ar-raudhoh islamic boarding school by careful and continuous preparation, but if the simaan method is not done with istiqomah, then memorization will not be maintained. 4) Tahsin can improve the memorization of the Qur'an in terms of minimizing mistakes, because in Tahsin reading the Qur'an must be done carefully, because if ignored it will cause a change in meaning. 5) driving factors in carrying out simaan methods such as: giving motivation, giving memorization targets, desires from oneself and others.
