ed is classroom action research which aims to determine whether there is an increase in performance and learning outcomes of the subjects, namely students. The population of this research is all students of Class X SMA Asuhan Daya Medan. The sample is class X-IPA, totaling 25 students, who are taught using the inquiry learning model based on the concept of freedom of learning. This type of research is carried out using two cycles to achieve good learning outcomes. The instrument in this question consists of 14 multiple-choice questions with options (a, b, c, d and e) which are tested for validity, reliability and level of test difficulty. Learning outcomes are obtained using the Gain value according to the results of the hypothesis test, learning outcomes increase from ???? ̅ pre-cycle = 36.36 to ???? ̅ cycle I = 68.91 N-Gain = 0.44 and is classified as neutral. learning improvement from ???? ̅ diaphragm = 36.36 ???? ̅ cycle II = 85.09 with N-Gain = 0.74 is classified as high. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah Active Learning (pembelajaran aktif), di mana siswa terlibat langsung dalam praktikum pembuatan aplikasi untuk memecahkan masalah nyata di sekolah. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan teknis siswa dalam penguasaan HTML, CSS, JavaScript, dan sistem manajemen basis data MySQL. rutama terkait pencatatan transaksi, pemisahan keuangan usaha dan pribadi, serta penyusunan pembukuan sederhana. Kondisi tersebut juga ditemukan pada pelaku UMKM kuliner di Kelurahan Tanjung Anom. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan dan kemampuan penyusunan pembukuan sederhana bagi pelaku UMKM kuliner. Program dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan 15 peserta melalui tahapan identifikasi kebutuhan, persiapan kegiatan, pelaksanaan pendampingan, dan evaluasi program. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, diskusi interaktif, simulasi kasus, praktik penyusunan buku kas harian, serta evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai pentingnya literasi keuangan, pencatatan transaksi, penyusunan buku kas sederhana, dan perhitungan laba usaha. Selain itu, peserta menunjukkan kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam melakukan pencatatan pemasukan dan pengeluaran secara sistematis. Program ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kapasitas pengelolaan keuangan UMKM sehingga dapat mendukung keberlanjutan dan pengembangan usaha pada masa mendatang.
Culinary Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in supporting local economic activities and community income generation. However, many business owners still face challenges in financial management, particularly in transaction recording, separating business and personal finances, and preparing simple bookkeeping records. Similar conditions were identified among culinary MSME owners in Tanjung Anom Village. This community service program aimed to improve financial literacy and simple bookkeeping skills among culinary MSME entrepreneurs. The program involved 15 participants and was implemented through four stages: needs assessment, program preparation, mentoring implementation, and evaluation. The methods included training sessions, interactive discussions, case simulations, daily cash book practices, and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. The results demonstrated significant improvements in participants’ understanding of financial literacy, transaction recording, simple bookkeeping preparation, and profit calculation. Participants also showed better capability in recording business income and expenses in a more systematic manner. The program contributed positively to strengthening the financial management capacity of culinary MSMEs and is expected to support business sustainability and future business growth

Abdi Budi Mulia dalam menerapkan Checklist Self Assessment (CSA) Report sebagai instrumen evaluasi mandiri untuk mendukung pencegahan fraud dan mengurangi temuan audit internal. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif yang meliputi identifikasi permasalahan, pelatihan penyusunan CSA Report, pendampingan implementasi, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa peserta memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai pengendalian internal, manajemen risiko, dan pentingnya pengawasan mandiri dalam aktivitas operasional. Selain itu, peserta mampu menyusun indikator pengendalian, melakukan identifikasi risiko secara lebih sistematis, serta mengimplementasikan CSA Report sesuai dengan kebutuhan unit kerja masing-masing. Penerapan CSA Report juga mendorong terbentuknya mekanisme pengawasan yang lebih proaktif sehingga potensi kesalahan dan ketidaksesuaian prosedur dapat dikenali lebih awal sebelum menjadi temuan audit. Recurring internal audit findings indicate that existing control mechanisms have not fully ensured consistent procedural compliance across all work units. Such conditions may increase the risk of operational errors and irregularities if preventive control measures are not adequately implemented. This community service program aimed to enhance the knowledge and capabilities of staff and management at PT. Abdi Budi Mulia in implementing a Checklist Self Assessment (CSA) Report as a self-evaluation instrument to support fraud prevention and reduce internal audit findings. The program employed a participatory approach consisting of problem identification, CSA Report training, implementation assistance, and activity evaluation. The results demonstrated that participants gained a better understanding of internal control, risk management, and the importance of self-monitoring in operational activities. Participants were also able to develop relevant control indicators, identify operational risks more systematically, and implement CSA Reports according to the specific needs of their respective work units. Furthermore, the implementation of CSA Reports encouraged a more proactive monitoring mechanism, enabling potential errors and procedural non-compliance to be identified before becoming audit findings. Therefore, CSA Report implementation can serve as an effective alternative for strengthening internal control systems and supporting sustainable fraud prevention efforts within the organization

dang Genting masih mengalami kendala dalam menyusun modul ajar, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), serta mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berbasis proyek secara efektif. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mengembangkan model pendampingan berbasis Project-Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, pelatihan, pendampingan implementasi di kelas, praktik penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran, dan evaluasi reflektif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa model pendampingan yang diterapkan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun modul ajar dan RPP berbasis proyek dengan capaian sebesar 89,3% pada kategori sangat baik. Selain itu, guru menjadi lebih aktif, kreatif, dan mampu melibatkan siswa dalam pembelajaran yang komunikatif dan kolaboratif. Dengan demikian, model pendampingan berbasis Project-Based Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di SDN 15 Padang Genting.
Project-Based Learning (PBL) is an innovative approach that can improve the quality of English language learning in elementary schools through collaborative and project-oriented activities. However, teachers at SDN 15 Padang Genting still face difficulties in developing teaching modules, lesson plans, and implementing project-based learning effectively. This community service activity aimed to develop a mentoring model based on Project-Based Learning to improve teachers’ competence in English language teaching. The methods used included needs analysis, teacher training, classroom mentoring, practical implementation of learning tools, and reflective evaluation. The stages of the activity consisted of identifying teachers’ needs, designing the mentoring model, conducting training sessions, assisting classroom implementation, and evaluating the outcomes. The results showed that the mentoring model improved teachers’ ability to develop project-based teaching modules and lesson plans, achieving a score of 89.3% in the very good category. In addition, teachers became more active and creative in engaging students in collaborative and communicative learning activities. Therefore, the Project-Based Learning mentoring model was effective in improving the quality of English language learning at SDN 15 Padang Genting.

This study aims to describe the form of leadership communication strategies, employee work motivation, and at the same time determine the effect of leadership communication strategies in increasing employee work motivation at the Medan City Cultural Office. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach and type of research through interviews and observations of informants to obtain research data. The results of the study indicate that the leadership communication strategy of the Cultural Office still needs to be improved in the area of clarity and even distribution of organizational messages that should be adjusted to its main duties and functions. Furthermore, it was found that intrinsic motivational factors, such as recognition, were the dominant factor in driving work motivation. Finally, it was found that the leadership communication strategy implemented influenced the increase or decrease in employee work motivation at the Medan City Cultural Service.

financial bookkeeping can strengthen women’s empowerment within the PKK Dawis 2 group in Surodinawan Village, Mojokerto City. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach, data were obtained through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The implementation of structured administrative procedures, including agenda preparation, attendance recording, and systematic documentation, resulted in increased participation, clearer decision-making processes, and stronger organizational coordination. Likewise, the adoption of basic financial bookkeeping enabled members to record income and expenditures accurately, prepare monthly financial reports, and improve accountability in managing community funds. The findings show that training and guided practice helped members build confidence, develop financial literacy, and contribute more actively to organizational activities. Overall, the study concludes that strengthening administrative discipline and transparent bookkeeping significantly enhances women’s agency and organizational resilience, offering a practical model for similar community groups.

Additionally, this research will explore the role of geospatial maritime intelligence in enhancing situational awareness and response to maritime incidents. The study findings indicate that a resilient surveillance architecture in the Malacca Strait requires the integration of advanced sensor systems (including multi-spectral radar and meteorological/oceanographic sensors), redundant communication networks, and AI/ML-based intelligent data processing. The adaptive capabilities of the system, including the use of UAVs and USVs, are critical to maintaining operational effectiveness in adverse weather conditions. Additionally, international cooperation and a robust policy framework, encompassing climate change adaptation and ethical considerations, are fundamental to the successful implementation and sustainability of surveillance systems. The Malacca Strait case study highlights specific vulnerabilities and proposes concrete solutions, illustrating a shift from a reactive to a proactive paradigm in maritime security.
