miums, which are more actuarially fair but administratively more complex. This study designs a Hybrid Fractional Premiums model that combines both approaches through a weighted linear combination using parameter , based on the 2023 Indonesian Mortality Table (TMPI), a 5% interest rate, a 10-year coverage period, and monthly premium payments. This descriptive quantitative study applies actuarial mathematics, covering the present value of insurance benefits, true fractional, apportionable fractional, and hybrid annuity factors, up to premium determination using the equivalence principle. The results show that the hybrid premium consistently lies between the true fractional and apportionable premiums, increases sharply with the insured's age, and is higher for males than females due to differences in mortality rates. Changes in the value of have a linear effect on the premium, although the impact is relatively small (a difference of less than IDR 200 per month). The hybrid model with is recommended as the optimal balance between actuarial fairness and ease of implementation, offering a more flexible alternative for premium determination in Indonesia's life insurance industry.

This study implements the 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm combined with Huffman compression to protect the confidentiality and integrity of student grade files in Excel (.xlsx) format, and evaluates its effectiveness through functional, performance, and security testing. The system was developed as a Python desktop application with a CustomTkinter interface, in which the encryption process runs Huffman compression before AES-128, while integrity verification uses SHA-256 hashing. Testing was conducted on seven student grade files from MA Ma'ahid Kudus. The results show that all files were successfully encrypted and decrypted without failure or data alteration, with encryption times of 0.0142-0.0828 seconds and decryption times of 0.0046-0.1417 seconds. The SHA-256 hash values of the original and decrypted files were identical for all samples, yielding 100% recovery accuracy, while the file size increase from padding and header insertion ranged only from 1,092 to 1,101 bytes. The study concludes that the combination of AES-128 and Huffman compression is an effective and efficient solution for protecting student grade data in educational institutions.

emudahan monitoring terhadap kepercayaan pengguna QRIS di Bekasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 100 responden yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan regresi linier berganda menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics versi 26, meliputi uji validitas, reliabilitas, asumsi klasik, uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transparansi transaksi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepercayaan pengguna QRIS (t = 9,206; sig. = 0,000), demikian pula kemudahan monitoring (t = 3,690; sig. = 0,000). Secara simultan, kedua variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepercayaan pengguna (F = 107,119; sig. = 0,000), dengan nilai R Square 0,688 yang menunjukkan bahwa 68,8% variasi kepercayaan pengguna dijelaskan oleh kedua variabel, sedangkan 31,2% dijelaskan oleh faktor lain. Persamaan regresi yang diperoleh adalah Y = 7,843 + 0,592X1 + 0,243X2. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik transparansi transaksi dan semakin mudah monitoring dilakukan, semakin tinggi kepercayaan pengguna QRIS di Bekasi.

actually delivers accessible financial information and whether such transparency strengthens sustainable public governance. This study addresses that gap by constructing an original, multi-dimensional, portal-level Digital Financial Transparency Index (DFTI) and linking it to sustainable public governance, an association not previously tested at the Indonesian subnational level. Using a quantitative, explanatory design, financial management and public information portals are assessed through content analysis. Twenty-one indicators covering organizational information, financial transparency, and website accessibility are aggregated into the DFTI. Sustainable public governance is proxied by the 2024 electronic-based government system (SPBE) index, the only nationally standardized, externally assessed, and annually published measure of digital public administration maturity in Indonesia. Ordinary least squares regression tests the hypothesis, complemented by Spearman correlation as a non-parametric robustness check suited to the small city and regency subsamples. The findings show DFTI has a positive and significant effect on SPBE (β = 0.026; p = 0.032). The effect operates through content rather than appearance: among regencies, organizational information and financial transparency correlate significantly (p < 0.05) with SPBE, website accessibility does not. The results provide recommendations that local governments should adopt a standardized minimum financial-disclosure content and prioritize the weakest indicators, which are raw data, citizen-friendly budget summaries, and personal data protection. Also the provincial government should channel budget-capacity support to low-DFTI regencies, where transparency and maturity are most strongly associated with budget resources to advance SDG 17.

The study employed a quantitative associative approach using secondary data obtained from annual reports, sustainability reports, and financial statements. Purposive sampling produced 65 observations that met the research criteria. Data were analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA), supported by classical assumption tests and hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that ESG disclosure does not significantly affect firm value. In contrast, green investment and sustainability reporting quality have positive and significant effects on firm value. Firm size also has a positive and significant direct effect on firm value. However, firm size does not moderate the relationship between ESG disclosure, green investment, or sustainability reporting quality and firm value. Simultaneously, ESG disclosure, green investment, and sustainability reporting quality significantly affect firm value. The first regression model explains 36.0% of the variation in firm value, while the moderation model explains 74.4%. These findings imply that energy sector companies should prioritize concrete green investment initiatives and improve the quality, completeness, and credibility of sustainability reporting to strengthen market value and stakeholder confidence.

using the Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (VAIC) model, which consists of Value Added Capital Employed (VACA), Value Added Human Capital (VAHU), and Structural Capital Value Added (STVA), while financial performance is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA). This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the annual reports and financial statements of 40 banking companies, resulting in 120 observations. Panel data regression analysis is used, with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) selected based on the results of the Chow test and Hausman test. The results indicate that VACA has no significant effect on ROA, whereas VAHU and STVA have a positive and significant effect on ROA. In addition, VACA, VAHU, and STVA simultaneously affect financial performance. These findings suggest that human capital and structural capital efficiency are more closely associated with financial performance than capital employed efficiency. The study provides empirical evidence regarding the role of intellectual capital in supporting the financial performance of banking companies

di Desa Mak Teduh, Kecamatan Kerumutan, Kabupaten Pelalawan, masih menggantungkan transaksi usahanya pada sistem pembayaran tunai. Kondisi ini menjadikan UMKM tertinggal dalam arus digitalisasi ekonomi nasional yang terus berkembang pesat, khususnya melalui perluasan penggunaan Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) oleh Bank Indonesia. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan pembuatan dan penggunaan QRIS kepada pelaku UMKM di Desa Mak Teduh sebagai upaya mendorong digitalisasi sistem pembayaran, memperluas inklusi keuangan, serta meningkatkan daya saing usaha di era ekonomi digital. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KUKERTA) Universitas Riau Tahun 2026 dengan tahapan observasi, identifikasi permasalahan, koordinasi dengan pemerintah desa, sosialisasi, pendampingan pendaftaran, hingga evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman pelaku UMKM terhadap manfaat QRIS, meningkatnya jumlah pelaku usaha yang berhasil mendaftarkan QRIS, serta respons positif terhadap kemudahan bertransaksi non-tunai. Meskipun demikian, kegiatan ini juga menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan jaringan internet, minimnya literasi digital pada pelaku usaha lanjut usia, dan ketiadaan dokumen legalitas usaha. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pendampingan digitalisasi UMKM yang berkelanjutan bagi desa-desa dengan karakteristik serupa di wilayah Provinsi Riau.

academic English literacy among Indonesian undergraduates. Using a quantitative quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group, 60 students were divided into experimental and control groups. Instruments included comprehension tests, learner autonomy questionnaires, and rubric-based writing assessments. Results showed significant improvements in the experimental group. Academic text comprehension increased, particularly in vocabulary mastery (+12%), rhetorical structures (+15%), and recognition of formal registers (+10%). Copilot usage positively predicted learner autonomy, with gains in goal-setting (+14%), strategy selection (+11%), and self-evaluation (+13%). Writing performance also improved, especially in coherence (+13%), argumentation (+16%), and adherence to conventions (+12%). The findings confirm Copilot’s role as both corrective aid and developmental partner, fostering academic literacy and learner autonomy. Implications suggest integrating AI tools into EFL curricula to strengthen academic discourse and independent learning.
