Abstract: The background of this research is that there has not been a habit of using academic information systems by both lecturers and students, there are no educational staff from the field of computer science or informatics, and… nd the limited budget they have. This research approach is a qualitative research with case study method. The results of this study indicate that academic information system planning refers to the blue print for the development, management and utilization of higher education information systems. The organization assigns a direct assistant to the Head of Academic and Student Affairs who is assisted by two operators, whose operational direction is based on a decree issued by the leadership which is fully managed by the Telecommunications Center. Coordination of academic information systems based on the participation and support of all parties. Control is carried out directly by the Chairman as the leader. The obstacles faced in general are that there is no budget available considering the need for the development of an Academic Information System that requires a large amount of money, the age of most of the lecturers is old so it is quite difficult to adapt to changes towards digital and the ability of lecturers to use information systems is still low. The solution is to encourage students and lecturers to want to get used to adapting and learning in the use of academic information systems

Then, the research method used in this study was descriptive-holistic aiming at finding out descriptive and holistic explanations as well as examining the assumptions used in more depth based on the findings and interpretations of the data in the research field. The data were collected through documentation techniques, interviews, and direct observation by the researcher. The results showed that the management of teacher performance improvement was able to make teachers professional, when the management of improving teacher performance was carried out based on the principles of scientific management and adjusted to the needs and characteristics of the school. Both schools (Madrasah) have been quite successful in implementing teacher performance management optimally. It could be seen in the efforts of both schools in several aspects examined. The planning aspects of both schools (Madrasah) involved a contextual analysis of all school resources and the school’s goals. The implementation of the aspects, in both schools (Madrasah), involved various performance indicators such as; (1) providing the guidance and distributing teacher self-evaluation tools; (2) carrying out academic supervision; (3) studying and concluding the results of academic supervision; (4) communicating the results of academic supervision to the teachers individually; (5) discussed the follow-up including; (a) conducting a non-formal program covering of handling cases that were individual and casuistic in nature (curative); (b) conducting a formal program, namely handling cases that were general in nature, and carried out by all teachers through training in the form of developing and deepening performance points such as composing a lesson plan. Both schools (Madrasah) showed their uniqueness, especially in the indicators of problem solving and following up. The evaluation aspects of both schools (Madrasah) were quite good at measuring existing education services, as well as measuring the extent to which the school elements have achieved predetermined qualifications. Adusei, Opoku, Adwoa Eduam, Mercy, Praise Afeku, Benjamin, Kwabla Segbefia, Samuel
Abstract: It is generally accepted that a teacher's perception of efficacy correlates with the quality of instruction they offer. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics that senior high school (SHS) mathematics… tics teachers in Ghana's Ashanti Region regard as the most influential in influencing their confidence in their abilities to teach their subject. It was requested that 154 senior high school teachers from 20 different senior high schools reply to a questionnaire containing 12 items. According to the results of an independent sample t-test, male teachers have significantly stronger self-efficacy views than their female colleagues. Again, the results of a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) test reveal that there was no statistically significant difference between the means of the five groups of teacher teaching experience in terms of teacher efficacy. Teachers should take part in ongoing professional development activities to make sure they are still good at their jobs.

Arrest and Detention in Indonesian Criminal Procedure Code under Human Rights Perspective

Arif Setiawan, Muhammad
Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the regulatory framework on arrest and detention in Indonesian Criminal Procedure Code under human rights perspective. This study employed doctrinal legal research using statute and conceptual… approaches. The findings of this research reveal that the principles of law enforcement and human rights, which include the principles of legality, necessity, and proportionality, are essentially general principles that can be used to determine whether state actions that interfere with citizens' rights and freedoms violate or do not violate human rights. The legal provisions concerning arrest and detention did not fit the human rights standpoint particularly in the context of procedure and the length of detention. The proportionality and the necessity principle have not been fully considered as the ethical basis for arresting the perpetrator of a crime. Hence, what is needed is to amend the Criminal Procedure Code considering the adoption of both necessity and proportionality principle in the arrest and detention.

Analisis Pengaruh Ukuran Mata Pisau Serta Variasi Putaran Terhadap Kualitas Dan Kuantitas Pada Mesin Pencacah Daun

Devi Marchelina Siahaan, Sri, Sufriadi Purba, Jhon
Abstract: Processing leaves to make compost is generally still done by chopping using a machete, or many are not chopped, making it difficult for the leaves to decompose or rot. This research aims to determine the results of chopping… ing using a single blade and by varying the size of the blade and varying the rotation speed of the machine. The benefit of this research is to determine the influence of leaf chopper machine components, especially the number of leaf chopper blades, using descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection methods, literature studies and observations. The research location is in the HKBP Nommensen University Laboratory workshop, Pematang Siantar, North Sumatra. The research process took the form of testing carried out in several stages, namely using a single blade by varying the length of the blade and varying the rotation speed of the machine to compare the speed and chopping results. Three trials were carried out each with varying blade lengths of 30cm, 35cm and 40cm and rotation variations of 2500rpm, 3000rpm and 5000rpm. The results are in the form of a comparison of speed and counting results between variations of 30cm, 35cm and 40cm. The test results more effectively lead to variations in blade size of 40cm. And the results of testing the engine rotation speed which is more effective leads to a rotation speed variation of 5000rpm.
