Isabelita Madeira Soares, Artur Natalino Corte Real Araújo, Natalia Pereira
Abstract: Anemia in pregnant women is a serious health problem with negative impacts on the health of the mother and fetus. The aim of this research is to conduct a literature review on strategies for reducing and preventing anemia… a in pregnant women. This study used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to collect and evaluate 20 relevant articles regarding strategies for reducing and preventing anemia in pregnant women. A literature search was conducted through various databases and articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected for analysis. The main finding of this literature review is that several effective strategies have been identified for the reduction and prevention of anemia in pregnant women, including iron and folic acid supplementation, dietary changes, regular check-ups, health education, and community-based awareness campaigns. Factors such as public awareness, supportive health policies, and easy access to health services play an important role in supporting the successful implementation of these strategies. However, there are also obstacles such as limited access and resources, non-compliance, and cultural challenges that can hinder efforts to prevent anemia. The conclusion of this research is that strategies for reducing and preventing anemia in pregnant women require a holistic approach involving various aspects, including strengthening health services, targeted health education, and cross-sector collaboration. By implementing appropriate recommendations, it is hoped that a significant reduction in the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women can be achieved and improve the overall health of mothers and fetuses.

Preliminary Evaluation of Gaussian Naive Bayes for Multi-Label Hate Speech and Abusive Language Detection on Indonesian Twitter

Handayani, Tri Pratiwi, Hasyim, Wahyudin, Wati, Nursetia
Abstract: Automatic detection of hate speech and abusive language is crucial for combating online toxicity. This study explores Gaussian Naive Bayes for multi-label classification of hate speech on Indonesian Twitter, including target,… rget, category, and level. We combined TF-IDF features with contextual BERT embeddings. The model achieved balanced performance for general hate speech and good non-abusive language detection. However, it exhibited limitations with imbalanced data and specific hate speech types. The classifier consistently favored the majority class (non-hateful/non-abusive) across labels, particularly struggling with HS_Gender, HS_Physical, etc. This suggests difficulty detecting less frequent but potentially severe hate speech, likely due to limited training data. Overall accuracy and F1-scores confirm that while Gaussian Naive Bayes is efficient, it lacks robustness for nuanced multi-label classification with imbalanced datasets. This necessitates exploring alternative approaches for effectively detecting specific and less frequent hate speech.

Etelvina Jose S. Tilman, Eugenia Carvalho de Araujo, Natalia Pereira, Artur N. Cortereal Araujo, Jose Dionisiio Ximenes
Abstract: This study investigates the relationship between teenage pregnancy and future maternal mental health by using qualitative methods and relying on literature review as the main data source. The background of this study is… based on the importance of a deeper understanding of the impact of teenage pregnancy on maternal mental health, given the high prevalence of teenage pregnancy in Indonesia and its long-term negative impact. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that support or hinder the mental health of mothers who experience teenage pregnancy, and to present key findings from the relevant literature in this context. The research method used was a qualitative analysis of relevant literature studies found through systematic searches in academic databases and scientific journals. This approach allowed us to explore the findings of various studies and gain an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon under study. The main results of this study show that teenage pregnancy has a significant impact on the mother's future mental health, including an increased risk of depression, anxiety and postnatal stress. Factors such as social support, access to mental health services, and economic conditions play an important role in determining the mother's future mental health. The conclusion of this study is that efforts to improve future maternal mental health should be a priority in public policy and clinical practice. A holistic approach that takes into account the various factors that influence maternal mental health, as well as cross-sectoral cooperation, is needed to create a supportive environment for adolescent mothers to achieve optimal mental well-being.

Shibotik: Inovasi Kreatif Teknik Pewarnaan Kain Batik (Studi Kasus Industri Kerajinan Batik Komar)

Dipodiwiryo, Rafi Arlei
Abstract: This research aims to explore innovation in batik coloring techniques through the collaboration of conventional wax and stamp methods with Shibori resist dyeing, known as Shibotik. Conducted at Batik Komar, the qualitative… ve approach employed involved participant observation and in-depth interviews. Over a five-month period, the researcher actively engaged in activities at the batik house, observing production processes, interacting with craftsmen, and creating works using Shibotik coloring techniques. The findings reveal that Batik Komar successfully developed Shibotik as an innovative form of textile art. By combining six basic Shibori dyeing techniques—Arashi, Itajime, Kanoko, Kumo, Miura, and Nui—they created new patterns that blend the clarity of traditional batik motifs with the unpredictable edges of Shibori motifs. This collaboration not only produces beautiful and narrative fabrics but also has a positive impact on the community. The increased interest in Shibori, particularly among young entrepreneurs, creates economic opportunities and new jobs. However, suggestions for further research highlight the creative potential of coloring techniques and their economic and cultural impact, particularly on Indonesia's cultural heritage. The study also outlines practical implications, such as enhancing education and training opportunities in batik and Shibori techniques at the local level. Additionally, the emphasis on sustainability suggests investigating the application of Shibori techniques with environmentally friendly principles. In conclusion, Shibotik contributes not only to preserving Indonesia's batik heritage but also opens new potentials in the creative industry. Its novelty lies in cross-cultural collaboration and the creative utilization of coloring techniques, presenting new opportunities for textile art development. The implications can guide further research in the contexts of education and the sustainability of traditional arts.
