How Do Millennial and Z Generations Make Investment Decisions? A Case Study From Makassar City

Abstract: This study purpose to support the Indonesia’s government program to become a developed and prosperous country. The sample for this study the millennial generation and Z generation who live  Makassar City and have total wealth… l wealth or investment around IDR 70 million. We use this generations because the next generation has an important role to build and develop the finance sector in Indonesia and will support to become a developed country. The results show that financial literacy, income and financial behavior significantly positive with investment decisions. It is mean that good financial literacy, higher income, and the well financial behaviour will improve the quality of investment decisions.

This research is a field, data collection techniques used in this study is a triangulation technique (observation, interview and documentation). The method of research is using the method of research qualitative descriptive. The results of this study are the role of BUMDes Sumber Sejahtera in increasing the potential and economic prosperity of the community in Pujonkidul Village through its programs and business units that can open new jobs for residents, increase community incomes and encourage increased PAD Desa.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the financial performance of PT. Gudang Garam Tbk in terms of profitability ratio analysis for 2019-2022. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The data collection technique… in this study uses documentation techniques in the form of balance sheets and income statements for 2018-2022. The profitability ratios used in this study include Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Earnings Per Share (EPS). The results showed that the financial performance of PT. Gudang Garam Tbk for the last four years has tended to be unfavorable, because the average value of the profitability ratio is below the expected standard of measurement. To overcome the problem of declining financial performance, PT. Gudang Garam Tbk must identify and control production and distribution costs more efficiently, develop appropriate pricing and sales strategies, manage accounts receivable properly, and be prudent in using loans with favorable interest rates to increase the company's net profit.

Assessment Of Financial Performance at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Using The Dupont System Method Period 2019-2021

Abstract: Appraisal of a company's performance can be seen both through financial and non-financial aspects. This study specifically measures financial performance by focusing on DuPont System analysis. The DuPont system divides performance… erformance into three components, namely net profit margin, rate of return on assets, and rate of return on equity/capital. However, in this study, only two components of the DuPont System were used, namely return on assets and net profit margin. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The data analyzed comes from the financial reports at PT. State Savings Bank (PERSERO) Tbk specifically in the statement of financial position and annual comprehensive income statement ending December 31 2019 to December 31 2021. The results of the study show that Bank BTN has low financial performance. Judging from the total ROA generated each year, it cannot reach the standard set by Bank Indonesia. Even though it has a low ROA value, Bank BTN is able to increase ROA from year to year.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the work environment on the job satisfaction of the Samsat Office UPT Regional Income Makassar 1 regionally partially and simultaneously. The samples used were 40… employees of the UPT Regional Revenue Samsat Office Makassar Region 1. The data collection technique was carried out by means of a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques consist of validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test consisting of normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear analysis test, hypothesis test, test of the coefficient of determination. Physical Work Environment Variables have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, and Non-Physical Work Environment variables have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. The most dominant variable affecting job satisfaction is the non-physical work environment variable. The dependent variable job satisfaction can be explained by variables consisting of the physical work environment, and the remaining non-physical work environment is explained by other variables that were not examined in this study.

Adoption of Small-Scale Irrigation and Its impact on Household’s Income in Dugda Districts, East Shewa Zone, Oromia, Ethiopia

Abstract: The major of this study was to estimate the impact of Adoption of Small-Scale Irrigation in Dugda district. Data were collected from both primary and secondary data sources. Primary data was collected from 384 household… heads in four kebeles of the district using structured questionnaire. Descriptive, logit and propensity score matching techniques were used for data analysis. The study finding from the propensity score matching technique revealed that the incomes of adopters of small scale irrigation were increased by 37,696.06ETB per annum. This calls for strengthening the available irrigation facilities and expansion of irrigation sector in the study area.

The Effect of Loan Performance on Profit Growth WITH Operational Costs and Operating Income (OCOI) as Intervening Variables at Commercial Banks in Indonesia

Abstract: This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of loan performance on profit growth with operational costs and operating income (OCOI) as intervening variables in commercial banks in Indonesia. The data analysis technique… hnique in this study uses Partial Least Square (PLS) using Smart PLS software. This data analysis technique is used to facilitate researchers in data processing and analysis. The results show that the loan performance coefficient positively and significantly affects profit growth. The results of testing loan performance on profit growth show a path coefficient of 0.372 with a t-statistic value of 3.504. The t-statistic value is smaller than the t-table value (1.96). The coefficient of operating costs and operating income shows a negative and significant impact on profit growth. The results of the OCOI test on profit growth show a path coefficient of -0.638 with a t-statistic value of 6.324. The t-statistic value is greater than the t-table value (1.96). The loan performance coefficient through operational costs and operating income is negative and not significant to profit growth. The results of testing the performance of loans through OCOI on profit growth show a path coefficient of -0.174 with a t-statistic value of 1.756. The t-statistic value is smaller than the t-table value (1.96).

Gowa Makassar Tourism Development Tbk. The sample of this research is the income statement and balance sheet from the financial statements of PT. Gowa Makassar Tourism Development Tbk. 2017 to 2021. The data collection technique used is Documentation. Data analysis techniques are used to assess, identify, and explain the possibility of bankruptcy. The results of this study indicate the analysis of the level of bankruptcy of the modified Altman Z-score model of PT. Gowa Makassar Tourism Development TBK. the 2017-2021 period is categorized as being in good health or not bankrupt.

Comparison of Business Income on Tajuk and Manjung Short Onion Farming in Tande Village Majene Regency West Sulawesi

Abstract: Red onion is a vegetable commodity that has high economic value in terms of fulfilling national consumption and sources of income. There are 2 types of shallots planted by farmers in the Tande Village, namely Tajuk and Manjung.… anjung. There fore we want to see which variety is more profitable. This study aims: (1) to compare the productivity of Tajuk and Manjung shallot farming in Tande Village, East Banggae District, East Banggae Regency (2) to determine the comparison of Tajuk and Manjung shallot farming income in Tande Village, East Banggae District, East Banggae Regency. The research method used is by means of purposive sampling by way of consideration that is having a lot of farmer groups. The samples in this study were 20 farmers of the Tajuk variety and 20 samples of the Manjung variety of shallot farmers. The results showed that (1) the average shallot productivity for the Tajuk variety (Sipatuo Farmers Group) on a 3.40 ha land area was 3.42 tons/ha with an average production of 11.53 tons, and on a 1 ha land area the average the average productivity is 8.50 tons/ha with a total production of 8.50 tons. Whereas for the Manjung variety (Lestari Green Farming Group) the average productivity on a land area of 3.25 Ha is 3.18 Tons/Ha with a total production of 10.32 Tons, - the average shallot productivity on 1 Ha land is 7.90 Tons /Ha with total production of 7.90 tons. (2) the average income of Tajuk shallot farmers is greater than the average income of Manjung shallot farmers. The average income of shallot crowns on a land area of 3.40 Ha is Rp. 79,694,286 the average income of farmers on 1 Ha of land is Rp. 132,486,668. Whereas for the Manjung variety, the average income on a land area of 3.25 is Rp. 63,679,020, - the average income of farmers on 1 Ha of land is Rp. 120,517,501.
