n. This article aims to conceptually examine holistic marketing as a governance-based strategy for enhancing the competitiveness of Islamic educational institutions. This study employs a qualitative approach using library research by critically reviewing scholarly books and journal articles related to holistic marketing, educational service marketing, and Islamic education management. The findings indicate that holistic marketing encompassing internal marketing, external marketing, relationship marketing, and performance marketing can foster sustainable competitive advantage for Islamic educational institutions. This approach ensures consistency between Islamic values, educational service quality, and public trust. Therefore, holistic marketing can be positioned as a strategic governance framework for Islamic schools and madrasahs in strengthening value-based competitiveness.

review of HRM challenges and opportunities within digital workplace environments, drawing on peer-reviewed literature published between 2015 and 2024. Five core dimensions of digital HRM transformation are examined: technology-based talent acquisition, remote and hybrid workforce management, continuous digital competency development, people analytics and data-driven decision-making, and the ethics of algorithmic management. The findings reveal that while digitalization enhances HR efficiency and organizational agility, it simultaneously introduces complex challenges related to employee well-being, digital equity, and data privacy. This article further proposes the Digital HRM Maturity Model as a conceptual framework offering organizations a structured pathway toward sustainable, human-centered digital transformation. Managerial implications and future research directions are discussed accordingly.

The surrounding environment of these traditional houses remains poorly organized, with vacant land left unmanaged and declining awareness of cultural preservation, resulting in suboptimal utilization of the area’s aesthetic value, cultural function, and tourism potential. This community service program aims to arrange a cultural garden around the traditional houses while empowering the local community to manage the cultural landscape in a sustainable manner, with a focus on preserving cultural identity, improving environmental quality, and strengthening the local economy through the development of cultural tourism and agrotourism. The implementation method adopts a community-based participatory approach, carried out through several stages: site observation and mapping, focus group discussions, planning and designing the cultural garden, training and knowledge transfer, collective implementation of garden arrangement, as well as evaluation and documentation. The garden design integrates the orientation of the Siwaluh Jabu house, the cosmological meaning of space, ecological landscape principles, and the selection of local vegetation with symbolic, aesthetic, and economic value, organized into aesthetic, educational, and productive zones. The results of the program indicate the establishment of a well-arranged cultural garden rich in Karo cultural symbols, increased community capacity and participation, and the creation of a sustainable cultural landscape management model that functions as a “living laboratory” combining aesthetic, educational, economic, and spiritual roles. This model positions the community as the main actor and holds potential to be replicated in other cultural villages with similar characteristics.

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman serta kemampuan staf dan manajemen PT. Abdi Budi Mulia dalam menerapkan Checklist Self Assessment (CSA) Report sebagai instrumen evaluasi mandiri untuk mendukung pencegahan fraud dan mengurangi temuan audit internal. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif yang meliputi identifikasi permasalahan, pelatihan penyusunan CSA Report, pendampingan implementasi, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa peserta memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai pengendalian internal, manajemen risiko, dan pentingnya pengawasan mandiri dalam aktivitas operasional. Selain itu, peserta mampu menyusun indikator pengendalian, melakukan identifikasi risiko secara lebih sistematis, serta mengimplementasikan CSA Report sesuai dengan kebutuhan unit kerja masing-masing. Penerapan CSA Report juga mendorong terbentuknya mekanisme pengawasan yang lebih proaktif sehingga potensi kesalahan dan ketidaksesuaian prosedur dapat dikenali lebih awal sebelum menjadi temuan audit. Recurring internal audit findings indicate that existing control mechanisms have not fully ensured consistent procedural compliance across all work units. Such conditions may increase the risk of operational errors and irregularities if preventive control measures are not adequately implemented. This community service program aimed to enhance the knowledge and capabilities of staff and management at PT. Abdi Budi Mulia in implementing a Checklist Self Assessment (CSA) Report as a self-evaluation instrument to support fraud prevention and reduce internal audit findings. The program employed a participatory approach consisting of problem identification, CSA Report training, implementation assistance, and activity evaluation. The results demonstrated that participants gained a better understanding of internal control, risk management, and the importance of self-monitoring in operational activities. Participants were also able to develop relevant control indicators, identify operational risks more systematically, and implement CSA Reports according to the specific needs of their respective work units. Furthermore, the implementation of CSA Reports encouraged a more proactive monitoring mechanism, enabling potential errors and procedural non-compliance to be identified before becoming audit findings. Therefore, CSA Report implementation can serve as an effective alternative for strengthening internal control systems and supporting sustainable fraud prevention efforts within the organization

This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation with informants consisting of the General Manager, Head of the Research and Development Division (Litbang), Head of the Member Resource Development Subdivision (PSDA), and members of LPM DINAMIKA UIN SU. The results of the study indicate that HRM plays a role in improving member quality through various coaching and competency development programs, and helps increase member activity through continuous motivation, coaching, and coordination. However, its implementation still faces several obstacles, such as low member commitment, time constraints, and differences in motivation levels. Therefore, more effective and sustainable HRM management is needed to support the development of the organization and its members.

pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada 25 April 2026 di Desa Tanjung Rejo, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap satu narasumber kunci yaitu Ibu Hamida (42 tahun), pemilik usaha Sima Batik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kawasan mangrove Tanjung Rejo seluas 600–602 hektar memiliki potensi besar sebagai sumber pewarna alami batik dari bagian akar, batang, dan dahan yang mengandung tanin tinggi. Dengan efisiensi bahan baku 10 kg per tahun, usaha ini menghasilkan rata-rata 20–30 lembar kain batik per bulan dengan harga jual Rp250.000 per lembar, melibatkan 6 tenaga kerja perempuan lokal, dan menjangkau konsumen dari instansi pemerintah pusat hingga wisatawan. Analisis SWOT menunjukkan bahwa keunggulan utama produk terletak pada keunikan pewarna alami dan nilai ekologisnya, meski terkendala keterbatasan tenaga kerja dan ketergantungan cuaca. Usaha batik mangrove ini terbukti berkontribusi nyata terhadap SDG 1 (tanpa kemiskinan), SDG 8 (pekerjaan layak), SDG 12 (konsumsi dan produksi bertanggung jawab), SDG 14 (kehidupan bawah laut), dan SDG 15 (kehidupan di darat), menjadikannya model pemberdayaan berbasis ekosistem yang relevan untuk dikembangkan di wilayah pesisir lainnya.

E actors include limited tax literacy, complexity in tax calculations, and insufficient understanding of recent regulatory changes. To address these issues, the government introduced the Average Effective Rate (TER) scheme as an administrative simplification for calculating Income Tax Article 21. Nevertheless, the implementation of this scheme has not been fully understood by MSMEs at the village level. This study aims to conduct socialization and training on Income Tax Article 21 based on the TER scheme for MSMEs in Watesprojo Village and to evaluate its effectiveness in improving tax understanding and technical capability. The research method involved initial observation, regulatory socialization, practical tax calculation training, and participant evaluation. The results indicate a noticeable improvement in MSME actors’ understanding of the legal basis of Income Tax Article 21, the changes in the calculation scheme, and the practical application of the TER mechanism without disrupting business activities. Overall, the socialization and training activities proved effective in enhancing tax literacy and supporting sustainable tax compliance among MSMEs.

The findings reveal that perceived usefulness, ease of use, social influence, and infrastructural support are the key determinants influencing users’ intentions toward adopting Islamic financial technologies. Furthermore, Shariah-compliant fintech innovation driven by maqaṣid al-shari’ah enhances financial inclusion, ethical governance, and sustainable economic development. The study emphasizes that collaboration among regulators, financial institutions, and educational entities is crucial to developing adaptive regulations and strengthening digital-Shariah literacy. The main conclusion underscores the significance of aligning technological innovation with Islamic ethical principles to advance the competitiveness of the Islamic finance industry globally.
