Analysis Error Student In Learning Geometry As Base Understanding Non-Euclidean Geometry : An Overview Literature Based on Newman's Error Analysis

Siregar, Dosta Ernauli, Purba, Lasvina Br., Chyntia, Jesica Dhea, Fauzi, KMS Muhammad Amin
Abstract: This study aims to identify the dominant error patterns of students in geometry learning based on Newman's Error Analysis (NEA) and to examine their implications for readiness to understand Non-Euclidean Geometry. The method… thod employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 10 empirical articles published between 2019 and 2026. Data were extracted based on the five stages of NEA — reading, comprehension, transformation, process skill, and encoding — and subsequently analyzed through narrative synthesis, percentage comparison, and descriptive effect size. The results indicate that comprehension errors and encoding errors are the most dominant categories, with the highest percentages of 56.92% and 50%, respectively, followed by transformation errors, which consistently fall within a moderate effect range (20–40%), while reading errors and process skill errors are classified as low. The primary causes of errors include weak understanding of geometric concepts, inability in spatial visualization, limited mathematical language, and lack of procedural precision. The findings contribute as a diagnostic foundation for designing more effective geometry learning, while simultaneously serving as a conceptual bridge toward higher-level geometry

Abstract: Newborns are a crucial transition period from life in the womb to life outside the womb. One important aspect of newborn care is hygienic and proper umbilical cord care, to prevent infections such as neonatal tetanus and… accelerate the natural process of umbilical cord separation. Mothers' knowledge of umbilical cord care plays a crucial role in the success of such care. This study aims to determine the knowledge of mothers with babies aged 0–7 days regarding umbilical cord care at the Mitra Kerja Clinic of the Santa Elisabeth Health Sciences College in Medan. This study used a quantitative descriptive design with a purposive sampling technique, with 30 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed univariately. The results showed that most mothers had sufficient knowledge (50%), good (36.7%), and poor (13.3%). The majority of respondents were aged 20–35 years (96.7%), <20 years (3.3%), primigravida (56.7%), multigravida (43.3%) and had a high school education (70%), bachelor's degree (16.7%), and diploma (13.3%). Conclusion: Most mothers have sufficient knowledge about umbilical cord care. It is recommended that clinics conduct regular outreach sessions to improve mothers' understanding, and that further research be conducted by adding variables such as occupation and source of information

Wastewater Quality Test Using The MPN (Most Probable Number) Method To Detecte Total Coliform Bacteria

Ayu, Alfiana, Gultom, Endang Sulistyarini
Abstract: This study aims to Test Wastewater Quality Using the Mpn (Most Probable Number) Method to Detect Total COLIFORM Bacteria. This study uses laboratory analysis, which aims to provide an overview of the microbiological quality… ity of wastewater based on the presence and number of Coliform bacteria. The working principle of the Most Probable Number (MPN) method in detecting total Coliform bacteria in wastewater is carried out semi-quantitatively by detecting microbial growth through lactose fermentation which produces gas or turbidity in selective liquid media. The implementation procedure includes a presumptive test stage using Lactose Broth (LB) media, a confirmatory test with Brilliant Green Lactose Bile Broth (BGLB) media, and determining the final value by matching the combination of positive tubes with the standard MPN table. From the results of laboratory testing on three domestic wastewater samples (1224 AL, 1225 AL, and 1226 AL), it was found that all samples showed negative results with a combination of 0-0-0 tubes in the presumptive test. This indicates that the tested sample does not contain Total Coliform bacteria or has a value of less than 1000 MPN/100 mL, so that its microbiological quality is declared very good and has met the quality standard threshold set by the government through the Minister of Environment Regulation No. 5 of 2014 and PP RI No. 22 of 2021

Abstract: This study aims to examine the application of the High-Low method, Scatterplot, and Least Squares in cost analysis, particularly in separating fixed and variable cost behavior. The research uses a library research approach… ch by collecting and reviewing literature from textbooks, journals, and official publications related to cost estimation and cost behavior modeling. The findings indicate that the High-Low method is simple because it uses only the highest and lowest activity levels, but its accuracy is limited due to reliance on extreme data points. The Scatterplot method provides a visual representation of the relationship between cost and activity, helping identify patterns and potential outliers; however, its results may vary due to subjective judgment in determining the cost line. Meanwhile, the Least Squares method is considered the most accurate because it utilizes all available data to produce the best-fit regression line, although it requires more complex calculations and statistical understanding. Overall, the selection of the most suitable method depends on the objective of the analysis, data availability, and the level of accuracy required

Hypertension is one of the most common noninfectious diseases that affects the elderly. Hypertension is also a leading cause of serious complications such as stroke, heart failure, and kidney disease. Non-pharmacological approaches such as the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) method have been proven effective in lowering blood pressure by reducing stress and increasing self-awareness. This study aims to determine the effect of relaxation therapy with the MBSR method on reducing blood pressure among elderly patients with hypertension. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The design used was a pre-test post-test design. The sample consisted of 30 elderly selected using purposive sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The study was conducted from April 14th to June 3rd, 2025. The intervention given was an MBSR treatment program for two months, eight sessions, including mindfulness meditation, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques. Blood pressure measurements were taken before and after the intervention. The data were analyzed using the paired t-test. The results showed a significant decrease in systolic blood pressure of P< 0.000 and diastolic blood pressure with P < 0.011 after intervention. The average reduction in systolic blood pressure was 5.13 mmHg, and in diastolic blood pressure was 4.63 mmHg. These findings indicate that the MBSR therapy is effective in helping elderly individuals manage hypertension through stress reduction and enhanced self-awareness

Muhammad Faiz Hakim, Deril Anshar Baik Irwanto, Yusril Mashur Tjaja

Abstract: Abstract: Sipaku Area Village currently has a population of 1963 family cards with a density of 7423 people divided into 8 hamlets. Villages can still register people who do not have an Indonesia Smart Card with the concerned… erned office by recording the data on the people who have KPS, PKH or SKTM, to get the Indonesia Smart Card (KIP) program, because many people submit applications and there are many criteria that must be taken into account. faced by the Sipaku Area Village Head Office in determining the priority of potential KIP recipients is very difficult, not transparent and inefficient. Therefore, to overcome this problem, it is necessary to have a system for determining the priority of potential KIP recipients by adding some more basic criteria. In this study a decision support system was designed using the AHP (Analitycal Hierarchy Process) method. The results of calculations using the pairwise comparison matrix for the use of criteria show that the most important priority is shown in the status of an active applicant of 0.391, the second priority is the completeness of the files of 0.406, the third priority is the orphanage of 0.095, the fourth priority is parental income of 0.066, and the priority the fifth is a dependent of 0.041. Meanwhile, for alternative use, the data obtained is that the highest value weight determines the recipient of Smart Indonesia Card Assistance (KIP), namely Rizky Amelia Ritonga with a value of 0.171, the second alternative is Rangga Pranata with a value of 0.141 and the third alternative is Elva Radis with a value of 0.124. Keywords: Smart Indonesian Card Recipients (KIP), AHP Method, PHP and MySQL.
