2023. This research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from annual reports and sustainability reports. The sample consists of eight banking companies selected through purposive sampling. Financial performance is measured using Return on Assets (ROA), environmental performance is measured using the Sustainable Banking Assessment (SUSBA) index, and environmental accounting disclosure is measured using the Environmental Disclosure Index (EDI). The data are analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis after passing classical assumption tests. The results indicate that environmental accounting disclosure has a positive and significant effect on financial performance. In addition, environmental performance also has a positive and significant effect on financial performance. These findings suggest that transparent environmental disclosure and the implementation of sustainable banking practices contribute to improved financial performance. Therefore, banking companies are encouraged to enhance environmental accounting disclosure and strengthen environmental performance as part of their sustainability strategy.
Abstract:Learning difficulties among higher education students remain a critical issue, particularly in Islamic higher education institutions that integrate academic, moral, and spiritual dimensions. This study aims to analyze students’…
udents’ learning difficulties from three main perspectives: psychological factors, learning strategies, and learning management at the Institute of Islamic Studies (Institut Agama Islam) Padang Lawas. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, involving observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis. The participants consisted of undergraduate students and lecturers selected through purposive sampling. The findings reveal that students’ learning difficulties are strongly influenced by psychological factors such as low learning motivation, academic anxiety, limited self-confidence, and weak self-regulated learning skills. In addition, the dominance of conventional teaching strategies and limited student-centered learning practices contribute to low engagement and conceptual understanding. From a learning management perspective, constraints related to instructional planning, classroom organization, and evaluation systems further exacerbate students’ learning difficulties. This study highlights the importance of integrating psychologically informed instructional strategies and effective learning management to enhance students’ academic performance in Islamic higher education contexts.
Abstract:Increasing exposure to digital content related to sexual behavior has heightened the need for education on preventing Pornography, Masturbation, and Orgasm (PMO) on platforms popular among adolescents, such as TikTok. This…
is study aims to explain how the TikTok account @nofaps.id functions as an educational platform for PMO prevention through the lens of Media Ecology theory. A qualitative approach was employed, including in-depth interviews with the account administrator and several followers, alongside observations of PMO educational content. Findings indicate that TikTok provides a digital environment facilitating the gradual development of knowledge, awareness, and behavioral change. This occurs through short-form content, engaging visuals, and interactive features, which strengthen users’ motivation, self-control, and cognitive processes throughout PMO prevention stages. Additionally, interactions between the admin and followers via comments and consultative services create a social support space that reinforces experiential learning. The study concludes that Media Ecology theory is effective in understanding how TikTok shapes an educational ecosystem around sensitive issues such as PMO addiction. Limitations include the small number of informants and focus on a single account; future research should examine multiple platforms and adopt more diverse methodologies.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze how governance failure became a trigger for fraud in investment management at PT ASABRI. The research employs a literature study approach. The results indicate that fraud at PT ASABRI was driven…
n by the weak implementation of corporate governance principles, particularly in terms of transparency, accountability, and independence. In addition, violations of the prudential principle and weak internal controls led to investment decisions being made without adequate risk considerations and opened opportunities for collusion between internal and external parties of the company. The findings of this study emphasize that fraud is a direct consequence of governance system failure rather than merely the actions of individuals. Therefore, this study recommends the need for comprehensive governance reform through strengthening risk management, enhancing the transparency of investment reporting, and implementing independent oversight mechanisms to prevent similar cases in the future.

tural contexts shape the distribution of illocutionary types. Data were collected via observation and note-taking, then classified according to Searle’s five categories (assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, declarative) and analyzed through three stages: data collection, analysis, and presentation. The findings reveal that illocutionary speech acts in the film Norah are dominated by directives in the form of commands, prohibitions, and invitations, which highlight the speaker’s role in controlling actions. In addition, expressive and commissive acts appear in the form of advice, requests, and polite expressions that function to maintain harmony and interpersonal closeness. Overall, the use of illocutionary acts in the film reflects social relations and the dynamics of everyday interaction in rural Arab society.
Abstract:This study aims to determine the influence of the use of infographic media on the motivation to learn and comprehend news texts of grade VII students of SMP Hasanuddin Gowa. The background of this research departs from the…
he low motivation and ability of students to understand news texts, especially in Indonesian learning which requires students to be able to analyze information critically and systematically. Infographic media was chosen as an alternative because it has attractive visual characteristics, is concise, and is able to present complex information in a more understandable way. The research method used was a pseudo-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class that obtained learning using infographic media and the control class that obtained conventional learning. Data collection techniques include learning motivation questionnaires, news text comprehension tests, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity), t-test, and MANOVA test to see the effect simultaneously. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class on the aspect of learning motivation, where the experimental class had a higher average motivation score after the use of infographic media. In addition, students' understanding of news texts in the experimental class also increased significantly compared to the control class. MANOVA's analysis strengthens the finding that infographic media has a simultaneous effect on students' motivation to learn and comprehension of news texts. Thus, this study concludes that infographic media is effectively used as a learning medium in news text materials. Infographics not only increase students' motivation to learn, but also help students understand the content of the news more comprehensively. These findings recommend the use of innovative visual media in Indonesian learning to improve the quality of students' learning processes and outcomes.

overcome students' low writing ability which is characterized by a lack of detail, weak text structure, and lack of ability to choose diction. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of Class Action Research (PTK) of the Kemmis and McTaggart model which is carried out in one cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation, as well as pretest and posttest. The results of the study showed a significant increase in description writing skills after the application of Deep Learning. The average pretest score of 58.40 with 16% completeness increased to 83.20 in the posttest with 88% completeness. An increase in N-gain of 0.62 indicates a moderate–high increase category. In addition to improved grades, students showed positive changes in learning behavior, characterized by increased participation, analytical skills, and quality of reflection on their writing. This study concludes that deep learning is effective in improving descriptive text writing skills while fostering students' critical thinking and metacognitive skills. This model is feasible to be applied as an alternative to Indonesian learning strategies in elementary schools.
