The population in this study consisted of 103 employees, and the sampling technique used was saturated sampling, resulting in 103 respondents. The results of the study indicate that partially, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and compensation also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, the work environment does not have a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, work discipline, compensation, and work environment have a significant effect on employee performance. The findings of this study reveal that work discipline and compensation are the dominant factors in improving employee performance, while the work environment is not the main factor in this research context. Therefore, the company is recommended to focus more on enhancing work discipline and providing fair and appropriate compensation to improve employee performance optimally
Abstract:This study examines the implementation of the Quality Control Circle (QCC) system to enhance employee engagement and productivity at Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) headquarters and its Indonesian branch.…
nch. As a global leader in lithium-ion battery manufacturing, CATL integrates innovative technology with employee participation to improve work processes and operational performance. QCC is applied as a structured approach that empowers employees to identify workplace problems, develop solutions, and collaborate in continuous improvement activities using quality management tools and the PDCA cycle. The research employs a case study and comparative analysis method to explore differences between the standardized QCC system at CATL headquarters and the more flexible, localized implementation in Indonesia. The study involved permanent employees from both organizations using saturated sampling, with a total of 10 respondents. In addition, a five-day productivity training program was conducted in China and Karawang through lectures, case studies, and project-based learning, evaluated using pre-test and post-test assessments. The findings indicate that QCC significantly improves employee understanding of productivity management, strengthens communication, enhances product quality, reduces quality-related costs, and increases employee engagement, motivation, and organizational commitment in both operational environments
Abstract:This study examines the rapid expansion of the coffee shop industry in Makassar City as a phenomenon that creates not only economic opportunities but also increasing competitive saturation. As coffee shops in Makassar have…
ve developed beyond places of beverage consumption into urban social spaces linked to lifestyle, sociability, symbolic visibility, and identity formation, competition has become denser and more complex. The study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of how coffee shop owners and managers experience, interpret, and respond to this increasingly crowded market. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, the research employed in-depth semi-structured interviews with business actors involved in strategic and operational decision-making, supported by contextual observation and business-related documents. The findings reveal five main themes: market growth is experienced as both opportunity and pressure; similarity among coffee shops increases vulnerability and reduces perceived distinctiveness; entrepreneurs rely on continuous adaptation rather than fixed strategies; business sustainability is understood as stability, relevance, and survival rather than expansion alone; and competition is shaped not only by product and price, but also by ambience, visibility, symbolic value, and lifestyle alignment.

The results of the hypothesis test show that financial literacy has a significant positive effect on individual financial management, while lifestyle has a non-significant and negative effect on personal management. Although Lifestyle has an insignificant and negative effect, together with Financial Literacy it is stated that it has a significant positive effect on Individual Financial Management for UKI Paulus employees
Abstract:This study examines the impact of Microfinance Institutions' (MFIs) performance on economic growth in Cambodia, using annual panel data from 62 MFIs for the period 2017–2023. Employing advanced econometric techniques, the…
the findings reveal nuanced relationships between key indicators of MFI performance and GDP growth. Notably, Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) show an unexpected positive relationship with GDP growth, highlighting the Cambodian microfinance sector's resilience in mitigating adverse effects through sustained economic activity. Inflation is also positively associated with GDP growth, suggesting that moderate inflation can drive economic expansion, though careful management is necessary to avoid destabilization. Conversely, the study finds a negative relationship between the number of MFIs and GDP growth, indicating potential inefficiencies from sector oversaturation. Lastly, a positive link between Return on Equity (ROE) and GDP growth underscores the importance of profitability in ensuring financial stability and economic development. The findings emphasize the need for policy measures to manage sector growth, maintain moderate inflation, and enhance MFI profitability for sustainable economic progress in Cambodia.
