Ardiansyah Putra Pratama, Muhammad Fauzan, Azzara Nabilla, Tegar Septian Gumilang, Riandra Mahanugrah
Prior to this activity, Sukarami Village in South Seluma Subdistrict, Seluma Regency, Bengkulu Province had no digital information medium that the community or outside parties could access widely, leaving the dissemination of the village's profile, potential, and activities limited and largely conventional. This community service activity set out to build a village website portal as a means of information transparency and digital-based public service. The work followed a participatory action research approach through several stages: needs observation and identification, design of the structure and content, website development, content population, management training, and handover to village officials. It ran from 19 June to 27 July 2026 as part of the Community Service Program (KKN) of Group 46, University of Bengkulu. The result was a website portal for Sukarami Village covering the village profile, the village head's welcome message, legal information, gallery, contact, news and activity publications, and information on village potential, which was later handed over to a village government representative along with training on its management. Over the course of the KKN period, eleven village news items were published through the website. The activity is expected to raise transparency, make information easier for the community to reach, and strengthen the branding and promotion of Sukarami Village's potential to a wider audience.

PERSUASIVE COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES EMPLOYED BY FEMALE ELECTION SUPERVISORS TO PREVENT VOTE-BUYING IN THE 2024 ELECTIONS: AN ELABORATION LIKELIHOOD MODEL APPROACH

Hati, Karina Permata, Adawiyah, Sa’diyah El
Abstract: This study is motivated by the Election Vulnerability Index (IKP) in South Tangerang, which categorizes money politics as a high-risk indicator, alongside a female registered voter list (DPT) that exceeds the male demographic… aphic by 18,727 individuals—a condition frequently exploited through grassroots channels for covert vote-buying. This research analyzes the application of the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) in the persuasive communication strategies employed by female election supervisors at Bawaslu to prevent vote-buying in the 2024 General Election. This study aims to: describe the forms of persuasive communication utilized by female supervisors; identify the media and communication channels employed; and analyze the effects of this persuasive communication in fostering anti-money politics awareness through the lens of ELM. A descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method was employed, using purposive sampling for informant selection. The findings indicate that the persuasive communication strategy combines interpersonal communication and informal small-group communication. Female supervisors applied identification techniques by shedding formal agency attributes and adapting their diction to everyday vernacular to diminish psychological distance with the community. The communication media comprised physical flyers creatively transformed into digital graphics and disseminated through digital interpersonal and social channels, specifically community WhatsApp groups (neighborhood units, Family Welfare Empowerment/PKK, and informal social gatherings/arisan). Based on the ELM analysis, this strategy successfully shifted the cognitive processing of community members toward the Central Route. A comfortable, nondistracting communication setting initially facilitated audience receptivity via the peripheral route, while clear substantive information regarding two-way criminal liability (penalizing both givers and receivers) functioned as high-quality arguments that heightened personal relevance and motivation. Reinforced by physical symbolic gestures rejecting vote-buying to lock in commitment, the application of ELM proved effective in fostering an autonomous, stable, enduring, and resistant moral stance against money politics.

Amri, Khairul, Rozi, Fakhrur
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using daily vlogs in the marketing strategy of the film "Agak Laen" and understand how this approach influences audience enthusiasm. In the digital era that focuses on visual… al and interactive content, the success of a film depends not only on its production quality but also on the effectiveness of its marketing strategies. The urgency of this research lies in the need to understand the ever-changing dynamics of digital marketing and assess the potential of daily vlogs as an innovative marketing tool in the film industry. Utilizing a qualitative methodology with a field study approach, this research collects data through interviews, observations, and content analysis from the Official Agak Laen social media, as well as secondary sources such as reports and relevant literature. The study's findings reveal: First, the "Social Media Marketing Model of the Film Agak Laen" demonstrates that the integration of daily vlogs into the marketing strategy allows for deeper and more personal interactions with the audience, enhancing engagement and supporting the viral spread of content. Second, "Critique of Marketing Communication for Daily Vlog Film 'Agak Laen'" discusses the challenges faced, including the risk of over-saturation and audience skepticism towards aggressively promoted content. The study identifies that although daily vlogs are an effective tool for increasing visibility and engagement, this approach requires high authenticity and strategic management to avoid potential negative effects such as content fatigue among the audience. The recommendations include enhancing content personalization, utilizing audience analytics for better targeting, and balancing between promotion and providing added value to viewers.

Tune Into Gen-Z Groove: Exploring Gen-Z Reception of Music on Radio Prambors Medan

Miranti, Safira Putri, Sikumbang, Ahmad Tamrin
Abstract: This article aims to explore and understand how Generation Z in Medan responds to and interacts with music broadcasted by Radio Prambors, a popular radio station among young people. This study is crucial for identifying… the dynamics between the musical preferences of the younger generation and the way radio content is presented in the digital era, as well as its implications for broadcasting strategies. Using a qualitative approach, this research involves in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis to gather data from Generation Z listeners. Content analysis is used to interpret audience reactions to the music programming, with a source triangulation approach to enhance data validity, combining interviews, social media content analysis, and listener surveys. The research findings reveal three categories of audience reception: hegemony, where listeners fully accept the music choices presented; negotiation, where listeners are satisfied but offer suggestions for a more diverse genre presentation; and opposition, where some less featured music genres cause dissatisfaction among listeners. Furthermore, the interaction between listeners and the radio station shows that Radio Prambors Medan functions not only as a music provider but also as a mediator in a broader communication network that influences the musical tastes and preferences of its listeners. The discussion in this study integrates Manuel Castells' Network Society theory to explain how social and digital networks affect media consumption and interaction among Generation Z, highlighting the crucial role of digital technology adaptation in radio programming strategies. By understanding these dynamics, Radio Prambors Medan can more effectively craft strategies that appeal to its listeners, ultimately maintaining its relevance in the rapidly changing media landscape. The recommendations resulting from this study emphasize the importance of broader digital technology use and more intensive social media interaction to enhance listener engagement and enrich their listening experience.

Sagita, Rinal, Nasution, Belli, Firdaus, Muhammad
Abstract: This study aims to analyze newsroom convergence processes and newsroom models implemented by Tribun Pekanbaru and Riau Pos, while also examining how newsroom convergence is utilized as an economic strategy to maintain the… e sustainability of local media businesses amid digital disruption. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies involving newsroom managers, editors, and journalists from both media organizations. The findings indicate that Tribun Pekanbaru and Riau Pos have adopted different newsroom convergence strategies. Tribun Pekanbaru has implemented an integrated newsroom model that combines Cross Media Newsroom and Integrated Media Newsroom approaches, emphasizing digital-first production and multi-platform content distribution. Meanwhile, Riau Pos continues to maintain a separated newsroom model between print and digital divisions, reflecting a gradual adaptation process toward digital transformation. The study further reveals that these differences are influenced not only by technological factors and organizational culture but also by economic considerations. Tribun Pekanbaru develops an integrated newsroom to improve production efficiency and expand digital content monetization, while Riau Pos maintains separated newsrooms because print media remains a significant source of company revenue. This study concludes that newsroom convergence has evolved beyond a technological transformation into an economic adaptation strategy for local media organizations. The findings suggest that newsroom convergence enables media companies to improve operational efficiency, broaden audience reach, optimize resource utilization, and strengthen business sustainability in an increasingly competitive digital environment.

Pribadi, Scholastica Wahyu
Abstract: Abstract also written in English containing key issues, objectives, methods and results. Abstract This study examines the role of service creativity in the performing arts ecosystem within the context of cultural tourism,… m, highlighting how service processes contribute to value creation beyond the artistic aspect. Cultural tourism has shifted from an object-based orientation to an experiential one, understanding performing arts not merely as a creative product but as an experience constructed through interactions between service providers and consumers. In this context, service becomes an integral part of the value creation process and audience satisfaction. This research uses a qualitative approach with a single case study method at PT Mata Hati Kitapoleng, a performing arts company in Bali. Data collection was conducted through in-depth semi-structured interviews and non-participatory observation. This research focuses on how service creativity is built through organizational processes, interactions, and practices. The results show that service creativity is formed through a structured yet flexible process, which integrates empathy for consumers, team collaboration, idea exploration, and continuous evaluation. The design thinking approach enables companies to deeply understand consumer needs and translate them into personalized and meaningful experiences. Service in this context is understood as a co-creative process, where consumers play an active role in shaping the final outcome. Furthermore, consumer satisfaction is influenced by various factors, such as trust, production and financial efficiency, innovation capacity, and evaluation and feedback mechanisms. This research confirms that service creativity is a strategic element in enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of performing arts businesses within the cultural tourism ecosystem.
