Abstract:The discussion about the need for Muslim communities in Muslim countries or those with Muslim majority populations to have an integrated instrument in the fiscal policy has recently been increasingly prominent. At least…
driven by two factors, internal and external. The internal factor is the fiscal policy in the form of taxes that have been implemented by the state by adopting a conventional economic system that has not created what is called social welfare in many Muslim countries. Second, along with de-globalization that has hit the world recently, especially as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has reduced dependence between countries, countries have to rethink to get away from dependence on the global economic system, including how to think about policies. fiscal and monetary in accordance with each country and can survive and be useful for dealing with a similar pandemic. One of the Islamic economic instruments that has surfaced in the discussion of the fiscal system is Zakat. Zakat in many studies indicates that it can be an alternative substitute for the tax position in the state fiscal system. The purpose of this paper is to find answers to whether Zakat is able to replace the tax position in the state fiscal policy system. What is its position in economic theory and Islamic law, and how to formulate zakat as a fiscal policy instrument? This paper also includes a discussion of potential conflicts that arise when zakat is applied to replace taxes.
Abstract:Neurodiversity conceptualizes autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, and related cognitive differences as natural variations in human cognition rather than individual deficits. Although this perspective…
erspective has gained increasing attention in human resource management (HRM), the intellectual structure and relevance of the existing literature to the Indonesian context remain insufficiently understood. This study maps the development of global research on neurodiversity and HRM and identifies research priorities for Indonesia. A bibliometric analysis was conducted using 993 records retrieved through a Boolean search combining neurodiversity- and HRM-related terms. Following a PRISMA-guided screening process, keyword co-occurrence, density, overlay, and total link-strength analyses were performed using VOSviewer. The analysis identified 43 dominant terms grouped into four thematic clusters: (1) inclusive HRM and diversity management, (2) workplace accommodation and disclosure, (3) intervention and school-to-work transition, and (4) ADHD and occupational mental health. The findings indicate that autism spectrum disorder and ADHD remain the most prominent topics in the literature. The field has gradually shifted from predominantly clinical and educational perspectives in 2020–2021 toward workplace accommodation in 2022 and more strategic HRM-oriented discussions during 2023–2024. However, link-strength analysis reveals that relationships between core HRM concepts and issues of accommodation, disclosure, and occupational mental health remain relatively fragmented. Moreover, Indonesia-specific and developing-country perspectives are absent from the dominant keyword structure. These findings demonstrate a substantial geographical and conceptual research gap. Accordingly, the study proposes five priority research themes to advance neurodiversity-inclusive HRM in Indonesia and provides a foundation for future empirical, policy-oriented, and organizational research.
Abstract:Indonesia is known as a country rich in local culture and traditions that are passed down from generation to generation. One of the traditions that is still preserved by the Bugis-Makassar people is Mappanre Temme, which…
is a procession of Qur'an khatam which is an important part of the traditional wedding series. This research aims to examine the symbolic meaning and cultural values in the Mappanre Temme tradition and its relevance in the life of modern society. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study show that this tradition contains religious, educational, social, and moral values. Apart from being a symbol of the spiritual readiness of the bride-to-be, this tradition is also a medium for the preservation of Islamic values and local culture. However, modernization also affects the meaning of this tradition, so sustainable preservation efforts are needed.

Abstract:This study aims to map the development of scientific research on human capital, social capital, and the well-being of self-employed workers in the informal sector during the period 2015–2025. Employing a bibliometric approach…
pproach based on Scopus data, this study analyses 102 scientific documents through indicators of annual publication output, country contribution, institutional affiliation, citation level, co-authorship collaboration networks, and keyword co-occurrence using VOSviewer software. The analysis reveals a significantly upward publication trend, particularly in 2024 and 2025. China, the United Kingdom, and Indonesia are recorded as the countries with the highest publication contributions. The most cited article is the work of Prasetyo & Kistanti (2020), which comprehensively integrates human capital, social capital, and entrepreneurship as pillars of sustainable economic growth. Co-authorship network analysis indicates fragmented collaboration patterns, while keyword co-occurrence mapping identifies four main thematic clusters: (1) well-being and entrepreneurship; (2) social capital and human capital; (3) livelihood and the informal sector; and (4) knowledge and sustainable development. These findings suggest the need to strengthen cross-country research collaboration and to expand inquiry into the interaction between human capital and social capital in enhancing the well-being of self-employed workers in the informal sector, particularly in developing countries. This study contributes to the literature by providing an integrated bibliometric overview of how human capital and social capital are positioned in relation to the well-being of self-employed workers in the informal sector
Abstract:This study aims to analyze trends, developments, and directions of scientific research related to decentralization and performance evaluation between 2015 and 2025. Using a bibliometric approach and data from the Scopus…
database, this study evaluates scientific publications based on the number of documents, country contributions, institutional affiliations, keywords, and collaborative networks between authors. The analysis shows that the number of publications fluctuates, with a significant spike in 2024. China is the country with the highest contribution to publications, while contributions from Indonesia remain very minimal. In terms of affiliations, Chinese universities dominate scientific production in this field. Network visualization shows that collaboration between researchers remains low and fragmented. The most dominant keywords are decentralization, blockchain, and performance evaluation, which form several research clusters that show links to financial management and public policy topics. These findings indicate the need to increase the involvement of Indonesian researchers and strengthen global collaborative networks on the topic of decentralization and performance evaluation.

omic development. To remain competitive in the dynamic market, these MSMEs need to embrace innovative and creative strategies that can drive their growth and sustainability. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the innovation and creativity strategies employed by Indonesian culinary MSMEs and identify the key factors that contribute to their success. The study found that culinary MSMEs in Indonesia can adopt a range of innovative and creative strategies to enhance their competitiveness. These may entail developing novel and distinctive menu offerings, implementing efficient production processes, leveraging digital technologies for marketing and customer engagement, and fostering an organizational culture that promotes innovation. By adopting a customer-centric approach and remaining responsive to evolving market trends, these enterprises can distinguish themselves from competitors and maintain a leading position in the industry. A systematic review of the existing literature also reveals that culinary MSMEs in Indonesia face various challenges, including financial constraints, lack of human resources, and limited access to information and technology. To address these challenges, collaboration with external parties, such as the government, research institutions, and universities, can be a crucial step in enhancing the innovation capabilities of these enterprises.

A) to analyze the comparative advantage and Export Product Dynamic (EPD) to analyze the competitive advantage. The result shows that Indonesia has a comparative advantage and specializes in rubber and articles thereof (HS 40) export above the average of countries’ based on RCA value, but this commodity is not competitive in capturing the international market based on EPD value. This study also finds the weakness of the RCA method that has been unable to identify the relative productivity (comparative advantage) of country. We underlined that RCA valuein this study is not absolutely shows the strength/weakness of the countries.
