Despite growing research on both AI adoption in SMEs and indigenous knowledge preservation, scholarship rarely examines how traditional values actively mediate rather than merely moderate commercial technology adoption. This study addresses that gap by investigating how MSMEs in Makassar City, Indonesia, negotiate AI marketing integration while preserving siri’ na pacce, the Bugis-Makassar philosophical framework centred on dignity (siri’) and solidarity (pacce). Employing interpretive phenomenology integrated with Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR), the study conducted 23 in-depth interviews and three focus group discussions with 44 MSME owners and key personnel across traditional culinary, artisan craft, ethnic fashion, and digital service sectors. Template analysis generated four overarching themes: (1) value-based technology discernment, wherein siri’ na pacce operates as an active epistemological filter for evaluating AI tools; (2) strategic selective adoption, wherein enterprises accept algorithmically aligned functions while rejecting culturally incompatible features; (3) cultural indigenization of technology, wherein AI systems are actively reoriented toward communal rather than individualistic ends; and (4) constrained agency under platform power, wherein algorithmic visibility systems penalise cultural non-conformity with market exclusion. These findings challenge technological determinism and advance decolonial computing theory by demonstrating that indigenous values simultaneously enable epistemological agency and are constrained by structural power asymmetries, a duality insufficiently theorised in prior technology adoption frameworks. The study calls for regulatory frameworks establishing indigenous data sovereignty, participatory AI co-design with local communities, and cooperative digital infrastructure as conditions for authentic, rather than performative, cultural integration.

Twelve target-market participants assessed anonymized visual sets (A/B/C) produced under a standardized prompt structure, using a semi-structured protocol informed by attention-stage cues from the AISAS model. Expert input from a visual communication design practitioner was used to triangulate judgments on visual quality and brand fit. Data were analyzed through iterative coding and thematic synthesis to identify recurring evaluation dimensions and decision cues. The findings suggest that perceived brand fit is shaped by visual realism, compositional clarity, brand-consistent signals, and message interpretability, while prompt ambiguity and inconsistent visual cues reduce credibility. of the study is driven by the increasing risk of environmental and health pollution due to hazardous waste generated by the biopharmaceutical production process, as well as the limitations of conventional accounting systems in capturing ecological costs and impacts. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, through primary data collection in the form of in-depth interviews with key informants and field observations, as well as secondary data from company documents and related regulations. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and interpretively to identify green accounting practices, environmental cost components, and ecological risk mitigation mechanisms. The results show that PT Daewoong Infion has implemented green accounting through the recognition and recording of hazardous waste management costs, pollution control, and environmental disclosure, which contributes to increased regulatory compliance, waste management efficiency, and ecological risk reduction. In addition, these practices strengthen the company's legitimacy and meet stakeholder expectations, in line with legitimacy theory and stakeholder theory. This study concludes that green accounting serves as an effective managerial and reporting instrument in integrating economic objectives and ecological responsibility, thereby supporting the operational sustainability of the biopharma industry. These findings recommend strengthening environmental cost measurement systems and reporting transparency to enhance sustainable ecological risk mitigation.

The research employs an exploratory qualitative case study design, utilizing in-depth interviews, document analysis, and system observation on a single organization to gather rich, contextual data. The results demonstrate that AI integration significantly accelerated service, with chatbots handling 65–70% of routine queries and drastically reducing response times. Operationally, these improvements fostered high employee acceptance (TAM). Strategically, the AI-Powered CRM generated refined predictive analytics, resulting in a 12–18% improvement in campaign conversion rates and efficient resource allocation, confirming that AI creates a valuable and difficult-to-imitate strategic capability (RBV). The study concludes that AI-Powered CRM is a critical enabler for both operational efficiency and long-term strategic competitiveness in digital markets.

The data analyzed comes from the financial reports at PT. State Savings Bank (PERSERO) Tbk specifically in the statement of financial position and annual comprehensive income statement ending December 31 2019 to December 31 2021. The results of the study show that Bank BTN has low financial performance. Judging from the total ROA generated each year, it cannot reach the standard set by Bank Indonesia. Even though it has a low ROA value, Bank BTN is able to increase ROA from year to year.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Stacking Ensemble memperoleh akurasi rata-rata 80,55%, lebih tinggi dibandingkan algoritma dasar. Evaluasi menggunakan Confusion Matrix, Classification Report, dan ROC Curve juga menunjukkan peningkatan nilai precision, recall, F1-score, dan kemampuan diskriminasi model. The rapid growth of digital wallet usage has generated a large volume of user reviews that can be utilized to evaluate service quality. This study aims to improve the accuracy of digital wallet user sentiment classification using a Stacking Ensemble Machine Learning approach that combines Support Vector Machine (SVM), Multinomial Naïve Bayes (MNB), and AdaBoost with Logistic Regression as the meta-learner. User reviews were processed through text preprocessing stages, including case folding, text cleaning, tokenization, stopword removal, stemming, and TF-IDF feature weighting. Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) was employed to address class imbalance, while model performance was evaluated using 5-Fold Cross-Validation. The experimental results show that the proposed Stacking Ensemble model achieved an average accuracy of 80.55%, outperforming the individual base learners. Furthermore, evaluations based on the Confusion Matrix, Classification Report, and Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) Curve demonstrated improvements in precision, recall, F1-score, and the model's discriminative capability. These findings indicate that the proposed Stacking Ensemble Machine Learning approach is effective in improving the accuracy of digital wallet user sentiment classification and can serve as a reliable tool for supporting service quality evaluation based on user opinions.

Yet, amid such exclusions, marginalized communities deploy diverse tactics of resistance, including visual reengineering, the use of alternative locations, and digital irony that disrupt dominant narratives. These findings suggest that digital identity is not passively consumed but actively negotiated through concrete and often unexpected spatial relations. Drawing on Lefebvre’s theory of the production of space, Urry’s concept of digital mobilities, and Gandy’s politics of infrastructure, the study shows how cities and digital spaces co-constitute a contested symbolic terrain.
The article’s main contribution lies in advancing a Global South perspective, where digital technologies and aesthetics are practiced contextually and do not always conform to the logics of global capitalism. the project is expected to strengthen economic competitiveness and attract large-scale investment, its implementation has generated significant social, environmental, and governance challenges. Existing studies on Rempang have primarily focused on land disputes, relocation issues, and agrarian conflicts, with limited attention given to disaster risk governance and socio-ecological vulnerability perspectives. This study aims to analyze the development of Rempang Island through the lens of Disaster Risk Governance (DRG) and socio-ecological vulnerability to understand how development policies, environmental change, and governance arrangements interact in shaping risks within coastal regions. This study employs a qualitative approach using literature review and policy analysis. Data were collected from government regulations, official reports, public policy documents, human rights reports, academic publications, and other credible secondary sources. The analytical framework integrates disaster risk governance, socio-ecological vulnerability, and public policy theories. The findings indicate that the Rempang conflict should not be understood solely as an agrarian dispute or community resistance to relocation. Instead, it reflects broader governance challenges associated with integrating disaster risk considerations into coastal development policies. The project has the potential to generate socio-ecological vulnerabilities related to land tenure uncertainty, livelihood transformation, cultural identity concerns, environmental pressures, and limited stakeholder participation. The study argues that sustainable coastal development depends not only on economic investment but also on the capacity of governance systems to manage emerging risks through collaborative, adaptive, and inclusive approaches. The article contributes to the literature by positioning the Rempang case as a governance-of-risk issue and highlighting the need to integrate economic development, environmental sustainability, and disaster risk reduction within coastal governance frameworks.

The research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method and systematic literature review from government regulations, scientific journals, environmental organization reports, official investigations, and national media coverage related to Rempang Island. Data were analyzed using public policy and environmental mitigation perspectives. The findings indicate that the Rempang Eco City policy generated serious social conflicts, ecological threats, and legal uncertainty due to weak community participation during the policy formulation process. From an environmental mitigation perspective, the industrialization of Rempang Island has the potential to trigger coastal ecosystem destruction, air and water pollution, coastal abrasion, loss of fishermen’s livelihoods, and prolonged social conflict. The government’s recent decision to remove Rempang Eco City from the National Strategic Project list is considered an important corrective policy. However, unresolved legal and environmental governance issues remain. Policy evaluation based on effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and appropriateness demonstrates that the Rempang Eco City policy failed to fulfill the principles of sustainable development and good governance.

This study aims to analyze the policy rationale underlying the Rempang–Galang glass factory development, examine its implications for social and environmental justice, and evaluate the policy using William N. Dunn’s policy evaluation model. This research employs a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through a systematic literature review of policy documents, reports from government institutions and civil society organizations, and relevant academic publications. The data were analyzed using content analysis based on the theoretical frameworks of social justice, environmental justice, and public policy evaluation. The findings reveal that the Rempang–Galang development policy is primarily driven by economic growth and investment-oriented objectives. Its implementation has led to an unequal distribution of development benefits and burdens, reflected in the risks of community relocation, loss of living space, pressure on coastal ecosystems, and the emergence of agrarian conflicts. Evaluation based on Dunn’s criteria indicates persistent challenges related to equity, responsiveness, adequacy, and appropriateness. The study concludes that a more participatory, equitable, and sustainable development approach is required through stronger protection of local community rights, inclusive environmental governance, and a fairer distribution of development benefits.
