Abstract:This study aims to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), and Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) on Net Interest Margin (NIM) in conventional banks listed on the Indonesia…
ia Stock Exchange during the 2020-2024 period. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The sample was selected using purposive sampling and consisted of 11 conventional banks, resulting in 55 firm-year observations. The data were obtained from annual financial reports, official publications, and relevant banking sources. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics 25, while the Cochrane-Orcutt method was applied to correct positive autocorrelation in the final model. The results show that CAR has a positive and significant effect on NIM, while NPL and BOPO have negative but insignificant effects on NIM. Simultaneously, CAR, NPL, and BOPO have a significant effect on NIM. The adjusted R-square value of 0.099 indicates that the independent variables explain 9.9% of the variation in NIM. These findings imply that capital adequacy remains an important internal factor in maintaining net interest margins, while credit risk control and operational efficiency should continue to be improved.
Abstract:Mental health is a strategic issue in economics because it affects the quality of human resources and regional economic productivity. This study aims to analyze the impact of schizophrenia, depression, and suicidal ideation…
ion on economic losses across provinces in Indonesia and to examine the role of depression treatment as a mediating variable. The study employs a quantitative approach using explanatory research and a cross-sectional design based on secondary data from 2023. Data were obtained from the Indonesian Health Survey (SKI) by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and Regional Gross Domestic Product (PDRB) data from the Central Statistics Agency, with 38 provinces in Indonesia as the units of analysis. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, multiple linear regression, and causal mediation analysis. The results of the study indicate that schizophrenia, depression, and suicidal ideation have a significant negative effect on economic loss, as proxied by per capita GRDP. Depression is the variable with the greatest negative impact on regional economic productivity. Furthermore, treatment for depression was found to act as a significant mediator capable of mitigating the negative impact of depression on economic loss. These findings indicate that improved access to mental health services contributes to increased community economic productivity and a reduction in regional economic losses. This study makes a theoretical contribution to the development of development economics and health economics research through the integration of mental health variables and regional economic productivity. Practically, the research results underscore the importance of integrating mental health services into regional development policies to improve the quality of human resources and reduce economic loss in Indonesia.

Abstract:This study aims to analyze the effect of government financial report accountability on the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1 in Indonesia. The study used secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics…
stics Agency (BPS) and the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). The study sample consisted of 456 local governments with an observation period of 2021–2022, resulting in 912 observations. The analytical method used was panel data regression with the Generalized Least Squares (GLS) approach and the Random Effects Model (REM). The results showed that government financial report accountability has a positive and significant effect on the achievement of SDG 1. The coefficient value of 0.645 with a significance level of 0.000 indicates that the better the level of local government accountability, the higher the achievement of poverty alleviation. This study proves that transparent, accountable, and effective financial governance can support the success of government programs in improving public welfare and accelerating the achievement of sustainable development in Indonesia.

ent and affordable housing in Indonesia. The study used panel data from 31 provinces during the 2021–2024 period with a total of 124 observations. The research data were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), and official local government websites related to the publication of financial reports. Data analysis was conducted using the Generalized Least Squares (GLS) method with a Random Effect Model (REM) approach. The results of the study indicate that accountability has a positive and significant effect on the achievement of SDG 11. These findings indicate that accountable regional financial management can increase the effectiveness of housing and settlement development programs. Transparency also has a positive and significant effect on the achievement of SDG 11, with a stronger effect than accountability. Openness of financial information encourages public oversight of regional budget use and increases the efficiency of development program implementation. The results of simultaneous testing indicate that accountability and transparency together have a significant effect on the achievement of the indicator of access to decent and affordable housing. The research findings support the theory of good governance, which places accountability and transparency as essential elements in improving the quality of local government governance. This study provides an empirical contribution regarding the relationship between local government financial governance and the achievement of sustainable settlement development in Indonesia.
Abstract:The current study addresses the impact of entrepreneurial orientation, innovation capability, market orientation, and networking capability on business sustainability in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The contribution…
ion of SMEs to economic development is important; however, sustainability in these entities can be threatened by resource scarcity and rapidly changing environments in markets. The current study adopts a quantitative approach that entails data collection using a structured questionnaire targeting owners and managers in SMEs. The collected data were analyzed through statistical methods to analyze the relationship among study variables. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurial orientation, innovation capability, market orientation, and networking capability are positive and influential factors in improving business sustainability in SMEs. Market orientation and innovation capability have higher influences on sustainability in SMEs than other factors since customer-centric approaches and innovation have playing crucial roles in ensuring sustainability in business operations for these entities. This study is an important addition to existing theories since this research adopts an integrated approach within strategic capabilities for improved adaptability and sustainability of SMEs in competitive markets
Abstract:This study investigates the relationship between profitability, leverage, and firm size and tax avoidance practices in publicly listed consumer sector firms during the 2020–2024 period. A quantitative approach was applied…
ied using panel data regression analysis, with a sample of six companies selected through purposive sampling. Tax avoidance was measured using the Effective Tax Rate (ETR), while profitability, leverage, and firm size were proxied by Return on Assets (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and the natural logarithm of total assets, respectively. Based on model selection procedures, the Random Effect Model (REM) was identified as the most appropriate specification. The results indicate that, both individually and jointly, profitability, leverage, and firm size do not exhibit a statistically significant effect on tax avoidance. Additionally, the coefficient of determination suggests that the model explains only a limited proportion of the variation in tax avoidance behavior. These findings imply that tax avoidance is likely influenced by factors beyond the financial indicators examined, highlighting the need for future research to incorporate broader determinants, including governance and regulatory aspects.
Abstract:This study aims to examine the effect of balancing funds and capital expenditure on financial performance. A quantitative approach with an associative research design was employed. The population consists of city governments…
ents in East Java Province, with a sample of seven cities selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 21 observations during the 2022–2024 period. Data were collected through documentation and analyzed using the SEM-PLS method. The results show that both balancing funds and capital expenditure do not have a significant effect on financial performance. In terms of direction, balancing funds have a negative relationship, while capital expenditure has a positive relationship, although both are statistically insignificant. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.182) indicates that these variables explain only 18.2% of financial performance, while the remaining 81.8% is influenced by other factors outside the model.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the differences in the financial performance of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk before and after the disclosure of the fuel adulteration case involving its parent company. This research employs…
oys a quantitative comparative approach using quarterly financial statement data from 2024–2025. The analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results show that descriptively, most financial ratios experienced a decline, particularly in profitability and activity ratios, along with a decrease in liquidity and a slight increase in solvency. However, the Wilcoxon test results indicate that these changes are not statistically significant. These findings suggest that despite reputational pressure from the parent company’s crisis, the company’s financial performance remains relatively stable. The limited sample size is also considered a factor influencing the results
Abstract:This study aims to examine work experience, work environment, and work culture on employee performance, both directly and through work motivation as a mediating variable. This research is based on two main grand theories,…
, namely Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and Self-Determination Theory. Quantitative approach with survey method, The research population is all employees of the production division of PT Ekamas Fortuna Malang which totals 332 people. Sampling was carried out using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique with a sample of 179 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling method based on Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results of the hypothesis testing showed that all ten hypotheses proposed in this study were proven to be statistically supported. Work experience, work environment, and work culture were each proven to have a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation, indicating that these three factors are relevant motivational antecedents in the context of the manufacturing industry and motivation has also been shown to mediate the relationship between these three variables. An important finding of this study is the confirmation of the dual role of work motivation, namely as a variable that directly drives employee performance as well as as a mediator that strengthens and channels the indirect influence of work experience, work environment, and work culture on performance.
