Abstract: Daiama Tourism Village in Rote Ndao Regency possesses significant natural and cultural tourism potential; however, its tourism promotion remains suboptimal, resulting in fluctuating tourist visitation rates. This study aims… ims to analyze promotional activities, identify factors influencing promotional effectiveness, and formulate promotional strategies to increase tourist visits. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method through observation, interviews, literature review, and documentation, supported by interactive data analysis and triangulation techniques. The findings reveal that promotional efforts still rely primarily on annual festivals and direct interpersonal communication without systematic support from planned digital media. This condition has contributed to fluctuations in tourist arrivals, increasing from 587 visitors in 2022 to 711 visitors in 2023, before declining to 503 visitors in 2024 and 468 visitors in 2025. Constraining factors include limited human resources, weak digital media management, and the underdeveloped institutional capacity of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis). The study concludes that promotional strategies should be directed toward digital marketing, strengthening cultural identity and local storytelling, as well as enhancing community and institutional capacity. The novelty of this study lies in the development of a sustainable promotional model that integrates digital marketing, cultural storytelling, community participation, and the strengthening of Pokdarwis institutions in accordance with the characteristics of Daiama Tourism Village as a nature- and culture-based tourism destination.

Abstract: Cultural-based tourism has become an important strategy for enhancing community welfare while preserving local cultural heritage. Desa Tua in Buleleng Regency, Bali, possesses significant potential through the bamboo weaving… ving tradition of the Bali Aga community, which holds substantial economic and cultural value. This study aims to analyze community empowerment through the development of tourism based on cultural weaving products, strengthen the bargaining position of local artisans, and examine efforts to maintain a balance between economic benefits and cultural preservation. The study employed a mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design and involved 150 respondents. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and surveys. The findings reveal that experiential tourism increased average household income by 35% and enhanced women's participation by 42% through their involvement in production activities, training programs, tour guiding, and the management of creative enterprises. Traditional weaving products were successfully developed as the primary tourism attraction, generating greater economic value while preserving cultural integrity through the clear distinction between sacred and commercial products. The novelty of this study lies in the development of an integrative model that connects community empowerment, experiential tourism, cultural preservation, women’s empowerment, and digital cultural entrepreneurship as a sustainable strategy for cultural tourism development.

Tinjauan Hukum Ekonomi Islam tentang Penyelesaian Perjanjian Pembiayaan Bermasalah pada Lembaga Keuangan Syariah

Dede Rohayati
Abstract: This study examines the resolution of non-performing financing in Islamic financial institutions, which have experienced significant growth but are confronted with increasing risks of non-performing financing (NPF) that… may undermine institutional stability and public trust. The research problem focuses on the suboptimal mechanisms for resolving problematic financing, the existence of a gap between legal norms and their practical implementation, and the lack of integration of philosophical approaches within the framework of Islamic economic law. This study aims to analyze resolution mechanisms from the perspective of Islamic economic law, identify the factors contributing to the normative–practical gap, and formulate a more comprehensive and equitable resolution model. The method employed is normative juridical, utilizing statutory and case approaches, with secondary data analyzed qualitatively through deductive reasoning. The findings indicate that the resolution of non-performing financing is still predominantly characterized by restructuring measures that are administrative in nature and fail to address root causes, while litigation pathways remain relatively ineffective due to procedural and substantive constraints. The disparity between legal norms and practice suggests that legal implementation has not fully reflected the principles of substantive justice. The study concludes by emphasizing the necessity of reconstructing resolution mechanisms through the integration of normative, empirical, and philosophical dimensions. The novelty of this research lies in the development of a maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah-based resolution model that offers a holistic approach oriented toward justice, public welfare, and the balance of interests, thereby providing more effective, contextual, and sustainable solutions within the Islamic financial system in Indonesia.

Siri’ Killing dalam Masyarakat Bugis-Makassar: Konstruksi, Pola Pembunuhan, dan Respons Hukum Pidana

Zul Khaidir Kadir
Abstract: This study examines the phenomenon of siri’ killing in the Bugis-Makassar community, which has received limited attention in global discussions on honor-based killings. The background of this research is rooted in the strong… strong value of siri’ as a system of collective honor that not only regulates social behavior but also has the potential to generate violence as a means of restoring dignity. The research problem focuses on how the construction of siri’ shapes collective honor, how patterns of honor-motivated killings occur, and how Indonesian criminal law responds to this phenomenon without legitimizing violence. This study employs a normative legal method with statutory, case, and conceptual approaches to analyze the relationship between legal norms and cultural values. The findings indicate that siri’ is understood as a collective family identity that significantly influences individual behavior, with women becoming the most vulnerable group due to the unequal distribution of moral burden. Patterns of siri’ killing are generally associated with control over sexuality and marriage and are driven by social pressure and collective moral legitimacy. The response of criminal law tends to be ambivalent, as cultural motives are not justified but are often considered as background factors. The conclusion emphasizes that siri’ killing is a complex phenomenon that cannot be understood merely as a criminal act, but rather as the result of interactions among culture, gender, and law. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of cultural, criminal law, and gender perspectives in explaining siri’ killing as a localized form of honor killing with distinctive characteristics in Indonesia.

The Metaanalysis of the Analgesic Effect of Electroencephalographic Neurofeedback for People with Chronic Pain

Elvina Zuhir, Desmawita Lestari, Reza Wahyudi, Aisya Raehan Fadhillah
Abstract: Chronic pain represents a major global health burden and often remains resistant to conventional pharmacological treatment, prompting the exploration of alternative therapeutic strategies. Electroencephalographic (EEG) neurofeedback… eurofeedback has emerged as a non-invasive neuromodulatory intervention that enables patients to self-regulate brain activity and potentially alleviate persistent pain symptoms. This systematic review addresses the research problem of inconsistent evidence regarding the clinical efficacy and underlying mechanisms of EEG-based neurofeedback for chronic pain management in adults. A comprehensive analysis of 80 studies involving adults with chronic pain lasting at least three months was conducted, examining neurofeedback protocols, clinical pain outcomes, neurophysiological changes, secondary benefits, and methodological quality. Findings revealed heterogeneous results, with several studies reporting statistically significant and clinically meaningful pain reduction, particularly in conditions such as chemotherapy-induced neuropathy, fibromyalgia, and chronic back pain. Observed neurophysiological changes, including increased alpha power and modified connectivity in pain-related brain regions, were sometimes associated with clinical improvement, alongside reported benefits in sleep quality, mood, and overall well-being. However, evidence from sham-controlled randomized trials showed no significant differences between intervention and control groups, highlighting methodological limitations and challenges in blinding procedures. The review concludes that EEG neurofeedback is a safe and feasible intervention with potential therapeutic value for chronic pain, although current evidence remains inconsistent. The novelty of this study lies in its integrative evaluation of clinical outcomes, neurophysiological mechanisms, and protocol-specific effects, while emphasizing the need for personalized approaches, biomarker identification, and rigorous experimental designs to clarify efficacy and optimize treatment implementation.

Hubungan Kadar Hemoglobin terhadap Saturasi Oksigen pada Pasien Rawat Inap Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kronis (PPOK) Eksaserbasi Akut di RSUD dr. Suhatman Mars Kota Dumai

Octariany, Surya Arfa
Abstract: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a progressive chronic respiratory disease that has become a global health concern due to its high morbidity and mortality rates and its impact on patients’ quality of life.… e. In acute exacerbation conditions, impaired oxygenation becomes a major problem that may be influenced by various factors, including hemoglobin levels as the primary component of oxygen transport in the blood. However, the relationship between hemoglobin levels and oxygen saturation in patients with acute exacerbation COPD remains inconsistent, particularly in populations exposed to high environmental risk factors. This study aimed to determine the relationship between hemoglobin levels and oxygen saturation in patients with acute exacerbation COPD hospitalized at RSUD dr. Suhatman MARS Dumai, Kota Dumai. This research employed an analytic observational design with a cross-sectional approach involving 73 patients selected through total sampling based on medical record data. Bivariate analysis using the Spearman correlation test showed no significant relationship between hemoglobin levels and oxygen saturation (r = 0.098; p = 0.412), indicating a very weak and statistically insignificant correlation. The study concluded that hemoglobin levels do not directly influence the oxygenation status of patients with acute exacerbation COPD, where impaired oxygenation is more strongly affected by respiratory factors such as ventilation-perfusion imbalance and structural lung damage. The novelty of this study lies in its empirical evidence demonstrating the limited role of hemoglobin as a predictor of oxygenation in patients with acute exacerbation COPD within a population with specific environmental characteristics, thereby providing a basis for developing more comprehensive clinical approaches in monitoring and managing COPD patients.

Abstract: Infant sleep quality is a fundamental biological need that plays a crucial role in growth and neurological development; however, sleep disturbances remain common among infants aged 3-6 months and are often overlooked by… parents. This condition poses risks to physical health, emotional well-being, and overall infant development. This study aims to analyze the effect of baby massage on sleep quality among infants aged 3-6 months at Babycare Bondowoso and to identify differences in sleep quality before and after the intervention. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design involving 40 infants selected through total sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and observation sheets, then analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that prior to the intervention, 87.5% of infants experienced poor sleep quality, whereas after the intervention, all infants (100%) demonstrated improvement to good sleep quality. Statistical analysis indicated a p-value of 0.00, which is lower than 0.05, confirming a significant effect of baby massage on infant sleep quality. These findings demonstrate that baby massage effectively improves sleep duration, comfort, and stability through physiological relaxation mechanisms. The novelty of this study lies in providing empirical evidence of the effectiveness of baby massage as a non-pharmacological intervention that is simple, safe, and can be independently applied by parents while offering holistic benefits for infants. The findings are expected to serve as a basis for developing health education and improving infant care practices.
