Pengaruh Persaingan Jam Kerja dan Kebijakan Tarif pada Ojek Online terhadap Tingkat Pendapatan Mitra Driver Goride di Kota Denpasar

Marthen Rohi Riwu, Ni Made Yudhaningsih, Putu Budhiyasa
Abstract: The rapid growth of the online transportation sector in Indonesia has driven a significant transformation in urban mobility systems, including in Denpasar City. One of the impacts of this development is the increasing competition… mpetition among driver-partners, which directly affects fluctuations in their income. This study aims to empirically analyze the influence of competition level, working hours duration, and fare policies on the income of GoRide partners in Denpasar City. A quantitative approach was used in this research, with the population consisting of all active GoRide driver-partners in the area. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula with a 10% significance level, resulting in 67 randomly selected respondents. Data were collected through the distribution of structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression methods to examine the effect of each independent variable on income as the dependent variable. The results show that the competition variable has a significant negative effect on partner income, indicating that the higher the level of competition, the lower the income earned. Conversely, working hours have a positive and significant effect, indicating that increased working duration directly contributes to higher income. Meanwhile, fare policy shows a positive but insignificant effect, meaning that although there is a statistically positive relationship, the effect is not strong enough to significantly impact income. These findings highlight the importance of efficient management of working hours and strategic adaptation to competition levels as efforts to maintain the economic sustainability of driver-partners. In addition, platform providers are advised to periodically review fare policies to ensure they remain aligned with market dynamics and partner needs, in order to maintain a sustainable income balance.

Upaya-upaya yang Dilakukan Polisi Air Polda Bali dalam Mencegah Masuknya Imigran Gelap

Andi Alfian Hedar, Sobandi, Komang Edy Darma Saputra
Abstract: Indonesia, as an archipelagic country, holds a geographically strategic position while also being vulnerable to various forms of transnational crimes, including the entry of illegal immigrants via maritime routes. Law enforcement… forcement in maritime areas presents its own challenges due to the need to monitor vast territories, limited facilities and infrastructure, as well as the complex modus operandi employed by illegal immigration offenders. In this context, the Water Police (Pol-Air) serves as the main actor in maintaining maritime security and order, particularly in efforts to prevent the entry of illegal immigrants. This study aims to analyze the strategies and actions undertaken by Pol-Air in performing this function, as well as to evaluate the obstacles faced. The research method used is normative legal research with a qualitative approach, through analysis of existing laws and regulations as well as empirical practices in the field. The results of the study indicate that Pol-Air conducts various preventive measures, such as routine sea patrols in vulnerable areas, the use of maritime surveillance technology, improvement of personnel competencies, and public dissemination of immigration law among coastal communities as a form of participatory prevention. In addition, Pol-Air also engages in cross-sectoral coordination with relevant agencies to strengthen institutional synergy. Nevertheless, the implementation of Pol-Air's duties still faces structural and operational challenges, such as budget limitations, lack of integrated information systems, and weak law enforcement against human smuggling networks. Therefore, a reformulation of policies is needed to support institutional strengthening and sustainable inter-agency collaboration.

Rhandi Rhiswandi, Dini Fitriani, Alinda S. Nurjanah, Putri Zaharah, Revalina Herdianie
Abstract: This study investigates the critical determinants of export success in the traditional ceramics industry of Plered, using the Dodol Badebah home enterprise as a case study. The research specifically analyzes the effects… of product quality, marketing strategy, and external institutional support on export performance. A quantitative research design was adopted, utilizing structured questionnaires distributed to 60 consumers of Plered ceramics. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to assess the influence and significance of each independent variable on export outcomes. Findings indicate that product quality exerts a significant and positive effect on export success, particularly through attributes such as design innovation, material strength, aesthetic value, and compliance with international standards. Conversely, marketing strategy and external support did not demonstrate statistically significant effects, suggesting the need for strategic realignment and more targeted institutional engagement. These results highlight the dominant role of internal capabilities, especially quality control and product development, over external promotional or governmental interventions in driving export readiness and sustainability. The study contributes to the growing body of literature on micro and small enterprises in developing economies by offering empirical evidence on export determinants in cultural and creative industries. Practically, the findings recommend prioritizing product excellence as a core strategy for global market penetration, while simultaneously improving the effectiveness of marketing channels and policy support mechanisms. Future research should explore digital transformation, international consumer preferences, and long-term impacts of policy shifts on export growth in artisanal sectors.

Analisis Yuridis terhadap Pertanggungjawaban Pengelolaan Keuangan Desa oleh Kepala Desa berdasarkan Undang-undang Nomor 3 Tahun 2024 tentang Desa

Ni Putu Astini, Erikson Sihotang, A.A. Gde Putra Arjawa
Abstract: The enactment of Law Number 3 of 2024, as the second amendment to Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, has introduced new challenges in the governance of village administration, particularly in the legal accountability… ity of village heads in managing village finances. Although the law outlines the authority of village heads, it does not explicitly stipulate provisions for criminal or civil sanctions in cases of abuse of power. This normative gap poses potential risks of harm to village communities due to the weak legal accountability mechanisms. This study aims to examine and analyze the legal implications of the normative vacuum in village regulations and to emphasize the urgency of establishing more specific and binding implementing regulations. Employing a normative juridical research method through statutory and conceptual approaches, this study analyzes relevant legislation and supporting legal literature. The findings reveal that the absence of clear legal sanction provisions in the Village Law creates a legal grey area that can be exploited for administrative misconduct and corruption. Therefore, regulatory reform is required in the form of amendments or the formulation of implementing regulations that explicitly define the types of sanctions and legal accountability mechanisms for village heads. The novelty of this study lies in its systematic identification of legal loopholes that have received limited attention in existing village law literature, as well as its concrete proposals for regulatory reformulation aimed at strengthening accountability and transparency in village financial management.

Chandra, Wendy, Ahmadi, Erna Listiana, Ana Fitriana
Abstract: This study aims to comprehensively investigate the influence of Social Media Marketing and Lifestyle on consumer Purchase Decisions, with Brand Awareness serving as a mediating variable that plays a pivotal role in the consumer… onsumer decision-making process. The research adopts a causal-quantitative design, intended to identify and test the causal relationships among the predetermined variables. Primary data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 130 respondents, consisting of customers of CW Coffee in Pontianak City, West Kalimantan. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique based on Partial Least Squares (PLS), operated through SmartPLS 4 software, which facilitates simultaneous evaluation of both the measurement model (outer model) and the structural model (inner model). The model estimation results indicate that both Social Media Marketing and Lifestyle exert a positive and statistically significant effect on Brand Awareness, and contribute both directly and indirectly to Purchase Decisions. Furthermore, Brand Awareness is empirically validated as a partial mediator that reinforces the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable. The theoretical implications of these findings underscore that enhancing brand exposure through strategic social media engagement and contextually understanding contemporary consumer Lifestyles are critical determinants in shaping strong brand perceptions and driving purchase intention and realization. Consequently, this study offers practical contributions for business practitioners in formulating digital marketing strategies based on the integration of consumer values and the optimization of digital communication channels, thereby enhancing market penetration effectiveness and fostering long-term customer loyalty.

Rijaludin, Karsim, Mazayatul Mufrihah, Pramana Saputra
Abstract: This study investigates the influence of the work environment and quality of work life on individual work productivity among Generation Z, with mental health serving as a mediating variable within the structural model. Generation… eneration Z, as a demographic cohort increasingly dominating the labor force, exhibits distinctive psychosocial characteristics that necessitate adaptive managerial approaches, particularly concerning psychological well-being in the workplace. The sample comprised 161 respondents employed across various industrial sectors in Indonesia, selected using a sampling technique based on Lemeshow’s formula for populations lacking explicit definition. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach to assess causal relationships among constructs and to validate the proposed theoretical model. Empirical findings reveal that both the work environment and quality of work life exert a positive and statistically significant influence on mental health. Furthermore, these two variables also directly contribute to enhanced work productivity. In addition, mental health is demonstrated to be a significant mediator in the relationship between the independent variables and productivity, thereby reinforcing their indirect effects. These results underscore the importance of organizational policy formulation that strategically positions mental health as a core element in human resource management systems. Accordingly, well-being-based workplace interventions not only enhance productivity but also foster a sustainable work ecosystem for the current and future workforce.

The Subtextual Significances of Pragmatic Equivalence in Translating Humor

Ni Nyoman Sarmi, Rommel Utungga Pasopati, Dyah Ayu Ratna Jelita, Yoshua Veron Handika Putra Siadari, Agischa Putri Agil, Muhammad Daffa Firzatullah
Abstract: This article examines the importance of pragmatic equivalence in translating humor, a crucial yet often challenging aspect due to humor’s deep reliance on cultural context, implicature, and audience interpretation. Pragmatic… gmatic equivalence emphasizes the conveyance of implicit meaning through communication principles such as those proposed by Grice, where coherence takes precedence over mere lexical and grammatical cohesion. In humor translation, coherence refers to the interconnectedness of meaning based on shared context and knowledge between the author and the audience, rather than simply the structure of sentences. However, humor is inherently ambiguous and open to multiple interpretations, making its meaning not always directly transferable. A single mistranslated element can alter the entire comedic effect, as humor is often highly culture-specific. In this case, the translator’s role extends beyond language transfer to bridging the knowledge gap that the target audience might have, sometimes at the cost of the humor’s spontaneity. This challenge creates a dilemma between preserving natural comedic effect and delivering accurate meaning. As a result, humor translation often leans toward either overly literal or overly liberal approaches, each with the risk of losing essential nuance. Therefore, pragmatic equivalence involves more than just finding corresponding meanings; it also requires sensitivity to the social and cultural contexts that shape audience responses. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on the unique complexity of humor translation, making it a valuable contribution to the fields of literary studies, linguistics, and translation studies.

Komunikasi Ritual Balian Bawo dalam Pengobatan Tradisonal Masyarakat Dayak Dusmala Kalimantan Tengah

Aquarini, Ella Febriani
Abstract: The Balian Bawo ritual is a healing ritual carried out by men and is believed by the Dayak community of Dusun Maanyan and Lawangan (Dusmala). In ritual processions, it is closely related to asking for help from ancestors… to get healing instructions. This research aims to uncover the ritual communication contained in Balian Bawo, which is communication between ancestors and the Balian Bawo. Researchers used hermeneutical phenomenology methodology by taking 6 people as sources. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research show that Balian Bawo ritual communication is seen in three ways, namely 1. Communication is with communicators, namely Balian and ancestors as communicants to convey messages about healing instructions through the intermediary of sowing rice which then includes dance and the sounds of bracelets as a connecting frequency amplifier; 2. Communion in the Balian Bawo Ritual in traditional medicine occurs not because of periodic activities every year, but is present when people need treatment; and 3. Common means that the local community can help the family prepare for the Balian Bawo Ritual activities and the Balian Bawo ritual procession can be followed by the local community as long as they comply with the existing regulations during the activity procession which is a form of community awareness of the existence of the Balian Bawo healing ritual.
