w this dish acts as a tool to express the values, identity, and social dynamics of Sundanese society that continues to evolve in the midst of globalization. The method used is descriptive qualitative method with data acquisition through literature study, interviews with culinary experts and the community, and analysis of how tutug oncom rice is presented in various media, this research tries to reveal the deep meaning behind tutug oncom rice. The research sample is tutug oncom rice. The results show that nasi tutug oncom is more than just food; it symbolizes the hospitality, local wisdom and food security of the Sundanese people. The process of making it, serving it, and eating it, is full of meanings that reflect the values of mutual cooperation, simplicity, and respect for nature. In this era of globalization, nasi tutug oncom faces both challenges and opportunities. On the one hand, this dish can become an Indonesian culinary icon that can be recognized worldwide. However, on the other hand, nasi tutug oncom is vulnerable to changes that can eliminate its uniqueness and original characteristics. This research suggests the importance of preserving and developing nasi tutug oncom without sacrificing its cultural and philosophical significance. Overall, this research shows that food is not just a daily necessity. Through nasi tutug oncom, we can see that food has deep social and cultural aspects, which are important for preserving local cultural diversity.

tain a comprehensive understanding of the legal aspects that regulate freedom of expression in the country. Recognized as an essential human right, freedom of expression is explicitly protected by the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The focus of this research is to examine the legal norms governing freedom of expression, which include provisions such as Article 28E paragraph (3) and Article 19 of the Constitution 1945, as well as other statutory regulations. The research results show that freedom of expression is recognized as an inalienable right by the state and is one of the foundations for the realization of a just and democratic society. Although freedom of expression is guaranteed by the constitution, this research also highlights the obstacles and challenges in its implementation. In Indonesia, challenges arise in navigating diverse interpretations of freedom of expression, with concerns about potential exploitation by entities harming public interest. Striking a balance between freedom of expression and societal stability/security is deemed crucial. The research aims to better understand the complexity of freedom of expression within the country's constitutional law and its role in promoting equality. This research aims to find useful insights for creating better policies. These policies should strike a good balance between individual freedom and public interest, ultimately fostering a fair and democratic society.

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memperkenalkan revitalisasi infrastruktur hijau sebagai solusi inovatif untuk memperkuat ketahanan lingkungan di tingkat lingkungan permukiman. Metode yang digunakan meliputi tahap persiapan, koordinasi dengan aparat desa, sosialisasi partisipatif, demonstrasi praktis pembuatan lubang resapan biopori, sumur resapan, dan taman hujan, serta evaluasi melalui instrumen pretest-posttest. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 42 peserta yang terdiri dari perangkat desa, anggota karang taruna, dan ibu rumah tangga. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan skor pemahaman rata-rata peserta secara signifikan, dari 40% sebelum kegiatan menjadi 84% setelah kegiatan, serta peserta menunjukkan minat yang tinggi untuk menerapkan teknik tersebut secara mandiri. Kegiatan ini menyimpulkan bahwa intervensi infrastruktur hijau yang murah dan partisipatif dapat ditransfer secara efektif kepada masyarakat serta berkontribusi menurunkan risiko banjir sekaligus memulihkan fungsi ekologis di skala lingkungan permukiman.
Pematang Johar, a rapidly developing village in Labuhan Deli Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, faces increasing environmental pressure from land-use conversion, reduced green open space, and recurrent waterlogging during the rainy season. This community service activity aimed to introduce green infrastructure revitalization as an innovative approach to strengthen local environmental resilience. The method consisted of preparation, coordination with village authorities, participatory outreach (sosialisasi), practical demonstration of biopore infiltration holes, recharge wells, and rain gardens, and evaluation through pretest-posttest instruments. The activity involved 42 participants consisting of village officials, youth organization members, and housewives. Results showed a substantial increase in participants' average understanding score, from 40% before the activity to 84% afterward, and participants expressed strong interest in applying the techniques independently. The activity concludes that low-cost, participatory green infrastructure interventions can be effectively transferred to communities and contribute to reducing flood risk while restoring ecological function at the neighborhood scale.

Ini berarti bahwa deiksis persona lebih umum daripada yang lain dari waktu ke waktu, yang menunjukkan bahwa fleksibilitas ini terutama memengaruhi partisipan. Pentingnya ekspresi deiktik berasal dari perannya dalam menghubungkan kata-kata dengan situasi di mana kata-kata tersebut digunakan. Studi ini juga menunjukkan bagaimana analisis semantik dan pragmatik terhubung ketika menjelaskan deiksis, dengan makna semantik yang lebih umum dan makna praktis yang berubah berdasarkan situasi. To explore this phenomenon, the study applies a qualitative descriptive approach, focusing on naturally occurring conversations among students in various campus settings. Data were collected through careful observation and documentation of students’ spoken interactions, allowing for an in-depth understanding of how meaning is constructed in real-life situations. The results indicate that students actively employ both denotative and connotative meanings in their speech. However, connotative meanings appear more dominant, particularly in informal contexts such as casual conversations with peers. This tendency highlights the role of language as a flexible and dynamic tool for expression. Furthermore, the frequent use of connotative language demonstrates students’ creativity in conveying ideas, emotions, and attitudes. It also reflects how language functions as a marker of social identity, helping students build relationships and express group belonging within the academic community.

Core”. The main objective is to understand how conversational maxims and implicatures are applied in the context of podcasts to convey messages about self-confidence and self-love to listeners. The methods used are conversational analysis based on pragmatics theory, conversational analysis based on Grice's (1975), theory of maxims and qualitative methods based on Creswell's (2007), theory then the data analyzed are transcriptions of Selena Gomez podcasts that have been selected based on their relevance to the research topic. The analysis is done by looking at how each conversational maxim (maxims of quantity, quality, relevance, and manner) and the two existing implicatures (conventional implicature and conversational implicature) are applied in the verbal expressions in the podcast. The result is that the four maxims and two implicatures are all found in Selena Gomez's podcast.
