Imam Faizin, Nova Khairul Anam
Abstract: Environmental education in early childhood plays an important role in developing children’s environmental care character through meaningful real-life experiences. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Eco-Schools… o-Schools program in fostering environmental care character among young children at POS PAUD Dahlia Mangli Randudongkal, Pemalang Regency. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observations, documentation, and field notes. The research subjects involved young children and teachers as facilitators of environment-based learning activities. The findings indicate that the Eco-Schools program was implemented through various concrete activities, including planting and caring for plants, watering plants, feeding animals, maintaining environmental cleanliness, and developing habits of disposing of waste properly. These activities provided children with direct experiences in understanding the relationship between humans and the environment while fostering values of responsibility, discipline, care, cooperation, and empathy toward living organisms. This study demonstrates that Eco-Schools can serve as an effective character-based learning strategy in early childhood education by integrating environmental education into the daily school culture. Sustainable implementation involving teachers, parents, and the community is essential to strengthen environmental awareness and care from an early age.

Reformulasi Pengaturan Residivisme Dalam KUHP Nasional Sebagai Dasar Pemberatan Pidana

Danang Kris Diantoro, Edwar Kelvin, Dwi Afni Maileni
Abstract: Pemberlakuan Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 2023 tentang Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana membawa perubahan penting dalam sistem pemidanaan Indonesia, termasuk pengaturan mengenai pengulangan tindak pidana sebagai dasar pemberatan… beratan pidana. The enactment of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code has brought important changes in the Indonesian penal system, including regulations regarding the repetition of criminal acts as the basis for criminal charges. This study aims to analyze the reformulation of recidivism regulations in the National Criminal Code as the basis for criminal charges, especially in building clearer, systematic, and more legal certainty regulations. This research uses a prescriptive normative legal research method by examining laws and regulations and legal materials relevant to the regulation of recidivism and criminal charges. The results of the study show that the regulation of recidivism in the old Criminal Code through Article 486, Article 487, and Article 488 has a limited character because the charges are associated with certain groups of criminal acts. This condition creates complexity in implementation and requires proper identification of the criminal history of the perpetrator. The National Criminal Code through Article 23 provides a more structured regulation regarding the repetition of criminal acts based on the grace period and characteristics of the criminal act, while Article 58 letter c places the repetition of criminal acts as a factor that aggravates the crime and Article 59 regulates the limit of the aggravation of a maximum of one-third of the maximum criminal threat. The reformulation shows an effort to clarify the relationship between the repetition of a criminal act and the aggravation of a criminal offense. However, its application still needs to pay attention to proportionality, legal certainty, the purpose of criminalization, coaching, prevention of repetition, and social reintegration. Thus, the reformulation of recidivism needs to be directed at a consistent and measurable construction so that criminal repetition is not only oriented towards increasing the severity of sanctions, but also supports the prevention of recidivism. Such an arrangement is expected to be able to provide a more definite guideline for judges and law enforcement officials in applying the burden to perpetrators who repeat criminal acts.

Iktikad Tidak Baik Dalam Pendaftaran Merek Varian Dan Perlindungan Hukum Pemilik Merek Terdaftar

Aisyah Oktania Dewi, Dzakiyah Balqis, Devika Tryza Ayodhya, Meita Fadhilah
The trademark registration system in Indonesia adopts the first-to-file principle; however, its application is subject to the requirement that registration be conducted in good faith. Issues may arise when a trademark resembles one that has already been registered or previously applied for and is subsequently registered by another party with improper intentions. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the provisions concerning bad faith in the trademark registration process under Law Number 20 of 2016 concerning Trademarks and Geographical Indications. This study also examines the forms of legal protection available to registered trademark owners against registrations made in bad faith by referring to Decision Number 1 PK/Pdt.Sus-HKI/2025. Using a normative juridical research method with a statutory and case approach, the study finds that bad faith may constitute a basis for rejecting a trademark registration application as provided under Article 21 paragraph (3), while also serving as a limitation on the application of the first-to-file principle. Legal protection for registered trademark owners is provided preventively through substantive examination and rejection of applications, and repressively through the filing of trademark cancellation lawsuits as regulated under Articles 76 and 77.

Abstract: Worm infection often occurs in areas with high humidity. This is especially true among people with poor hygiene and sanitation. Children are commonly affected because they frequently come in contact with soil. The presence… ce of worms in the intestine causes iron loss. This can result in malnutrition and anemia. The study aims to determine the correlation between the 6-step hand washing behavior and the risk of worm infection among SDN 24 Banda Aceh students. This study employed a quantitative correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of 162 respondents; the sample was 162 patients selected using a total population technique and proportional sampling. The study took place from June 12 to 18, 2025. The data was analysed using univariate and bivariate methods with the Chi-square test. The results showed a correlation between 6-step hand washing behavior and the risk of worm infection, with a p-value of 0.023 (p<0.05). The researchers urge students to practice proper and routine hand washing at school to prevent and reduce the risk of worm infection.

Aisyah Putri Cahyani, Anjar Riyanti, Rimi Gusliana Mais

THE ROLE OF CIVIL LAW IN PROTECTING HUMAN RIGHTS

Ria Sintha Devi
Abstract: This paper explores the critical role civil law plays in the protection and promotion of human rights within national legal systems. Unlike criminal or constitutional law, civil law provides individuals with direct legal… remedies through mechanisms such as tort claims, contract enforcement, and family law proceedings. By enabling victims of human rights violations to seek restitution, compensation, or injunctions, civil law serves as an essential tool for ensuring accountability and redress. The study analyzes key civil law principles and case examples to demonstrate how they contribute to safeguarding fundamental rights such as equality, privacy, property, and access to justice. It concludes that a robust civil legal framework is indispensable for translating human rights principles into enforceable protections in everyday life.

The Revitalization and Preservation of Indigenous Ghanaian Textiles in Contemporary Fashion Design

William, Daitey, Eddy Mary, Takyi, Nathalie, Bonnah
Abstract: This study investigates the revitalization and preservation of indigenous Ghanaian textiles in contemporary fashion design, emphasizing their cultural significance, economic potential, and modern challenges. Traditional… textiles such as “kente”, “kete”, “adinkra”, and “fugu”/ “batakari” are central to Ghana’s cultural heritage, symbolizing identity and tradition. However, the industry faces hurdles including high production costs, competition from cheaper imports, and diminishing traditional knowledge among younger generations. Adopting a qualitative approach, the research utilized interviews, focus group discussions, and observations involving artisans, fashion designers, educators, and consumers. Findings reveal that despite the immense value of indigenous textiles, their integration into modern fashion is impeded by limited access to raw materials, fluctuating market demand, and inadequate artisan support. Innovative designers, however, are blending traditional textiles with contemporary trends, showcasing adaptability and global appeal. The study recommends strategies such as public education campaigns, financial and technical support for artisans, and stronger intellectual property protections. Promoting sustainable practices, addressing regional production disparities, and fostering designer-artisan collaborations are also key to the industry’s sustainability. This research underscores the role of Ghanaian textiles in economic empowerment and cultural preservation, advocating for a balanced approach that merges tradition with modern innovation to ensure global relevance and sustainability.
