The Effect Of The Utaut3 Construct On The Interest Of MSMEs In Using The Bank Syariah Indonesia QRIS Payment System With Trust, And Ease Of Use As A Mediation Variable

Nurdin, Prabu, Soetjipto, Budi Eko, Churiyah, Madziatul
Abstract: The development of financial technology has encouraged the transformation of the digital payment system in Indonesia, one of which is through the implementation of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) developed… oped by Bank Indonesia to integrate various QR code-based payment services. This payment system is expected to be able to improve transaction efficiency, speed up the payment process, and expand financial inclusion for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). However, the adoption rate of digital payment technology in the MSME sector still faces various challenges, both related to technological aspects, user psychological factors, and the influence of the social environment. This study aims to systematically examine the influence of constructs in the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT3) on the interest of MSMEs in using the QRIS payment system at Bank Syariah Indonesia with trust and perceived ease of use as mediation variables. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA approach to identify, select, and analyze relevant scientific articles in the 2020–2025 period. The literature search process produced 2,395 articles from a database of reputable scientific journals, then an elimination process was carried out based on inclusion and exclusion criteria so that 71 articles were obtained that were eligible for further analysis. The study stages were carried out systematically through the process of identification, screening, feasibility assessment, and determination of final articles. The results of the study show that the main constructs in the technology acceptance model such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions have an important influence on interest in using digital payment technology. In addition, additional factors such as trust and perceived ease of use have been proven to act as mediating variables that strengthen the relationship between technology construct and the intention to use QRIS by MSME actors. Trust in system security and ease of use of technology are crucial factors in increasing user confidence in digital payment services, especially in the context of Islamic banking-based financial services. The findings of this study provide a theoretical contribution to the development of a digital payment technology acceptance model based on UTAUT3 and provide practical implications for financial institutions and regulators in increasing the adoption of QRIS among MSME actors. The next research is suggested to develop an empirical model with a quantitative approach to test the relationship between variables more comprehensively in the context of the digital economy in Indonesia.

The Relationship Between Work Culture And Employee Performance: Mediation Of Job Satisfaction And Moderation Of Leadership In Bank BJB Syariah

Handayani, Tri Utami, Mukhsin, Moh.
Abstract: This study examines work culture, job satisfaction (mediator), and leadership (moderator) as predictors of employee performance at PT Bank BJB Syariah Serang Branch, where average KPI achievement stood at only 90.5% in 2024.… 024. A census survey of all 190 employees was analyzed using PLS-SEM via SmartPLS.The results show: (1) work culture is positively associated with employee performance (β = 0.512, p < .001); (2) work culture is positively associated with job satisfaction (β = 0.991, p < .001); (3) job satisfaction is positively associated with employee performance (β = 0.160, p < .001); (4) job satisfaction partially mediates the work culture–performance relationship (β = 0.159, p < .001); and (5) leadership significantly moderates the work culture–performance relationship with a buffering effect (p < .001). This study extends JD-R Theory to faith-based organizations by demonstrating that Islamic values reshape job resources: work culture becomes a dominant predictor of satisfaction, and leadership operates as a buffering moderator through substitution mechanisms. These findings highlight the strategic importance of strengthening Islamic work culture, effective leadership, and job satisfaction as key predictors of employee performance in Islamic banking.

Analysis of Employee Performance with Employee Engagement as a Mediating Variable at BPR Syariah PNM Mentari

Haikal, Muhammad, Nur, Dhani Ichsanuddin, Pertiwi , Tri Kartika
Abstract: This study examines the effects of Mindset, Togetherness, and Result Oriented on Employee Performance, with Employee Engagement as a mediating variable, in BPR Syariah PNM Mentari. The research is conducted in a micro–Islamic… Islamic banking context that emphasizes efficiency, service quality, and regulatory compliance, and aims to clarify the contribution of these behavioral and organizational constructs to employee outcomes. A quantitative survey design was used, with data gathered via a structured questionnaire that operationalized the constructs. The data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to test direct and indirect relationships. The results reveal that (1) Result Oriented has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, confirming that goal clarity and disciplined execution lead to better performance; (2) Mindset does not have a direct effect on performance, but its effect through Employee Engagement is significant, indicating that Mindset influences performance only when employees are engaged; (3) Employee Engagement mediates the effect of Result Oriented on performance, improving execution; and (4) Togetherness has no direct or indirect effect on performance, suggesting that collaboration alone does not drive performance without clear goals and engagement.

The Influence of Free Shipping and Online Customer Reviews on the Shopee Platform on Purchasing Decisions of Students of the Faculty of Economics, Nias University

Zebua, Reyan Janefata, Telaumbanua, Aferiaman, Kakisina, Sophia Molinda, Zebua, Serniati
Abstract: This study investigates the role of acquisition premiums in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and their impact on shareholder wealth, focusing on five major Indian deals in pharmaceuticals, retail, banking, steel, and renewable… able energy sectors. Potential synergies often justify acquisition premiums ranging from approximately 15% to 40% above target companies’ market values. However, market responses suggest that such premiums may not consistently result in value creation for acquiring firms' shareholders. Empirical findings reveal mixed outcomes: Sun Pharma’s acquisition of Ranbaxy led to a 9.8% share price increase within five days, while Tata Steel’s high-premium acquisition of Bhushan Steel saw only a 1.7% gain. In contrast, deals like Reliance–Future Retail and Tata Power–Welspun Power showed minimal or negative returns, despite sizable premiums. These patterns indicate that premium size alone is not a reliable predictor of post-deal shareholder wealth creation. The study concludes that M&A success depends more on strategic fit, market timing, and sectoral dynamics than on the premium offered. This analysis contributes to the broader M&A discourse by offering evidence-based insights into how premium valuations can either maximise or dilute shareholder value, aiding investors, corporate strategists, and policy analysts in deal assessment.

Civil Servants' Interpretation of Gold Investment and Trading (Case Study of Civil Servants in South Sulawesi Province)

Burhan, Dinah Diyanah, Alimuddin, Said, Darwis
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the interpretations, behaviors, and preferences of gold investment among civil servants (PNS) of the South Sulawesi Provincial Government in facing economic volatility and inflation. Using a descriptive… scriptive qualitative method with a case study approach, this study collected data through in-depth interviews with 13 informants consisting of active civil servants, retirees, and financial practitioners, supported by secondary data analysis. The results show that PNS interpretations of gold are multidimensional, namely as an effective life buffer and hedge against inflation, as well as an instrument for fulfilling cultural obligations (uang panai' and siri'). This study found a transformation in investment behavior from gold jewelry to gold bars and digital savings, driven by mental accounting mechanisms through payroll deduction systems to discipline spending. In conclusion, the local culture of Bugis-Makassar interacts dynamically with modern financial literacy, creating a hybrid investment pattern supported by sharia compliance and the integration of regional banking technology.

Work Life Balance of Female Employees Across Generations in Indonesia

Joeliaty, Marthalina, Firmansyah, Yayan, Muhammad, A Fadel
Abstract: This study explores work-life balance among female government employees across generations, with a focus on gender-related challenges. Women are hypothesised to face imbalances due to dual roles at work and home. Using a… phenomenological approach and descriptive quantitative analysis, the study finds that Indonesian women across generations generally experience moderate work-life balance. Notably, Baby Boomers (60–78 years) and Generation Z (12–27 years) report higher balance, while Generation X (44–59 years) and Millennials (28–43 years) face lower balance due to simultaneous career and family responsibilities. The study offers generationally tailored suggestions, although results may not generalise to women in sectors like banking or private industry. Implications include the need for organisations to act as facilitators, supporting female employees to ensure psychological well-being and sustained performance.

The Influence of Financial Performance on Stock Prices in Banking Companies Listed on The Indonesia Stock Exchange

Harisda, Yusuf , Syarifuddin, Syukri, Fitriyani
Abstract: Stock price fluctuations in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) reflect the financial condition of the company and are a major concern for both companies and investors. One of the factors that… influences stock prices is the company's financial performance. This study aims to examine the effect of ROA and EPS on stock prices, both partially and simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data in the form of annual financial reports of the population of all banking companies listed on the IDX for the period 2020–2023. The research sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique, resulting in 13 companies with a total of 52 data. Data analysis used multiple linear regression after going through the classical assumption test to ensure the feasibility of the model. The results of the study showed that partially, Return on Assets (ROA) did not have a significant effect on stock prices. This is thought to be due to the instability of external factors and market expectations that are not fully focused on the efficiency of asset use. Conversely, Earnings Per Share (EPS) has a positive and significant effect on stock prices, indicating that investors tend to prioritize earnings per share as the main indicator in assessing a company's prospects. This finding confirms that in the context of banking companies in Indonesia, EPS is more important than ROA in making investment decisions

Kirana, Laras Puspa, Komaladewi, Rita, Oesman, Yevis Marty
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the impact of mobile banking service quality on customer relationship quality in Indonesian Islamic banks, with a focus on the moderating role of gender. With the rapid growth of digital technology,… logy, mobile banking has become a crucial factor influencing customer experience, particularly within the context of Islamic banking, which operates on Islamic principles. This research investigates how the quality of mobile banking services (such as ease of access, security, and transaction convenience) affects customer relationship quality (including trust, satisfaction, and loyalty). Additionally, it explores whether gender moderates the relationship between mobile banking service quality and customer relationship quality. Data were collected through surveys from customers of Indonesian Islamic banks, and the analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings are expected to provide insights into the design of mobile banking services that are responsive to gender-specific needs and offer recommendations for Islamic banks to strengthen customer relationships through more inclusive digital innovations.
