The selection of the Student Executive Board (BEM) President is an important process in determining the most qualified student to lead the student organization. However, conventional selection processes often rely on popularity and subjective judgments, which may lead to less optimal decisions. This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method to support a more objective selection process. Research data were collected through interviews with BEM advisors to determine the assessment criteria and their corresponding weights. Five criteria were used, namely leadership, communication skills, organizational experience, integrity, and grade point average (GPA). The MOORA method consists of decision matrix construction, normalization, optimization value calculation, and ranking. The results indicate that candidate K1 achieved the highest optimization value of 0.473 and was therefore recommended as the selected BEM President. The implementation of the MOORA method provides a more objective, systematic, transparent, and accurate decision-making process, making it an effective tool for supporting the selection of the most suitable BEM President based on predetermined criteria.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the effect of Initial Public Offering (IPO) on Return on Assets (ROA) by considering Firm Size, Liquidity, Leverage, and Tangibility in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The…
he study adopts a quantitative explanatory research design using secondary data obtained from audited annual financial statements of companies that conducted IPOs during the observation period. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, while panel data were analyzed using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) to examine the relationships among the variables. The findings indicate that IPO has a positive but insignificant effect on ROA, suggesting that additional capital raised through public offerings does not immediately improve corporate profitability. Firm Size and Leverage exhibit significant negative effects on ROA, indicating that larger firms may experience operational inefficiencies, while excessive debt increases financial burdens and reduces profitability. Conversely, Liquidity and Tangibility show positive but insignificant effects on ROA. Simultaneously, IPO, Firm Size, Liquidity, Leverage, and Tangibility significantly influence ROA, with the model explaining 59.11% of the variation in profitability. These findings imply that post-IPO financial performance depends not only on capital acquisition but also on effective asset utilization, prudent debt management, and efficient operational strategies. The study contributes to the literature on post-IPO corporate performance and provides practical insights for managers and investors in evaluating financial performance after public offerings
Abstract:Culinary MSMEs with perishable products face challenges in managing production costs due to the presence of unsold products, which are often not included in determining the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). This study aims to analyze…
nalyze the application of the full costing method by integrating Expected Spoilage Cost into the COGS calculation at Siomay Kang Dani MSME and evaluate its impact on business profitability. The study used a descriptive quantitative approach with a single case study method. Data were obtained through interviews, direct observation, and documentation related to production costs and the number of unsold products. The results show that the conventional COGS of Rp7,665 per portion increased to Rp8,975 per portion after incorporating the Expected Spoilage Cost of Rp591,240 per month. The integration of spoilage costs results in a more realistic cost calculation because it considers losses due to leftover products. A sensitivity analysis also shows that increasing spoilage levels leads to an increase in COGS and a decrease in profit margins. This study suggests that the application of a modified COGS can help MSMEs set selling prices and manage profitability more accurately
Abstract:The convergence between sustainability and halal consumption practices has led to a surge of interest in identifying variables influencing consumer behavior towards purchasing eco-friendly and sustainable halal goods. This…
is paper examines the effects of Islamic ethics, environmental consciousness, and social norms on the purchase intention of eco-friendly and sustainable halal products, considering the moderating role of consumer trust. Four hundred and twelve participants among Muslims participated in the study, and their data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling. The proposed model had good explanatory power as it was able to explain 68.4% and 59.7% of the variances in green halal purchase intention (R² = 0.684) and consumer trust (R² = 0.597), respectively. Results of this study indicate that Islamic ethics (β = 0.31, p < 0.001), environmental consciousness (β = 0.27, p < 0.001), and social norms (β = 0.22, p < 0.01) positively influenced consumer trust. Moreover, consumer trust significantly and positively impacted green halal purchase intention (β = 0.45, p < 0.001). The mediation analyses reveal that consumer trust partly mediates the effect of Islamic ethical values, environment, and social norms on green halal purchase intention. Out of all the antecedents tested, Islamic ethical values have been found to be the most effective determinant of green halal purchase intention. It can thus be concluded that the purchase intention for green halal products increases significantly if the customers perceive these products as being consistent with Islamic moral standards, sustainable for the environment, and approved by society, especially where the issue of consumer trust is involved. This research has contributed significantly to the extant literature by showing how trust acts as an important bridge between the antecedents of green halal purchase intention and the actual intention to purchase.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze newsroom convergence processes and newsroom models implemented by Tribun Pekanbaru and Riau Pos, while also examining how newsroom convergence is utilized as an economic strategy to maintain the…
e sustainability of local media businesses amid digital disruption. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies involving newsroom managers, editors, and journalists from both media organizations. The findings indicate that Tribun Pekanbaru and Riau Pos have adopted different newsroom convergence strategies. Tribun Pekanbaru has implemented an integrated newsroom model that combines Cross Media Newsroom and Integrated Media Newsroom approaches, emphasizing digital-first production and multi-platform content distribution. Meanwhile, Riau Pos continues to maintain a separated newsroom model between print and digital divisions, reflecting a gradual adaptation process toward digital transformation. The study further reveals that these differences are influenced not only by technological factors and organizational culture but also by economic considerations. Tribun Pekanbaru develops an integrated newsroom to improve production efficiency and expand digital content monetization, while Riau Pos maintains separated newsrooms because print media remains a significant source of company revenue. This study concludes that newsroom convergence has evolved beyond a technological transformation into an economic adaptation strategy for local media organizations. The findings suggest that newsroom convergence enables media companies to improve operational efficiency, broaden audience reach, optimize resource utilization, and strengthen business sustainability in an increasingly competitive digital environment.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality and sales promotion on consumer loyalty at Ihsan Mart in Kubu Raya. This study used an associative quantitative approach with 100 respondents selected through purposive…
osive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires with a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results show that service quality and sales promotion have positive and significant effects on consumer loyalty, both partially and simultaneously. The regression results indicate that sales promotion has a greater contribution than service quality in increasing consumer loyalty. However, the coefficient of determination shows that service quality and sales promotion explain 16.3% of consumer loyalty, while the remaining 83.7% is influenced by other factors outside this study. These findings imply that local retail management should not only improve service quality and sales promotion programs, but also consider other factors such as customer satisfaction, product quality, price competitiveness, store atmosphere, and consumer trust to strengthen long-term consumer loyalty.

Abstract:This study aims to evaluate cost-center managers through the implementation of accountability accounting at PT Mayora Indah Tbk. Accountability accounting is examined as a managerial control mechanism that links cost responsibility,…
ponsibility, budgeting, cost realization, and performance evaluation within an organizational responsibility structure. This study applies a descriptive qualitative method using secondary data obtained from the company’s financial statements and related financial information. The analysis focuses on the extent to which accountability accounting supports the assessment of cost-center managers by identifying controllable costs, comparing budgeted and actual costs, and evaluating cost variances. The findings indicate that accountability accounting plays an important role in strengthening cost control and managerial performance assessment. Although the company demonstrated positive revenue performance, increased operating costs affected the achievement of operating profit and net profit. This condition shows that financial performance cannot be assessed only from revenue growth, but must also consider the effectiveness of cost management. Therefore, accountability accounting provides a more objective basis for evaluating cost-center managers, particularly in monitoring cost efficiency and responsibility-based performance. The novelty of this study lies in positioning accountability accounting not merely as a financial reporting practice, but as a practical evaluation framework for cost-center managerial performance in a publicly listed manufacturing company.
