Abstract:The convergence between sustainability and halal consumption practices has led to a surge of interest in identifying variables influencing consumer behavior towards purchasing eco-friendly and sustainable halal goods. This…
is paper examines the effects of Islamic ethics, environmental consciousness, and social norms on the purchase intention of eco-friendly and sustainable halal products, considering the moderating role of consumer trust. Four hundred and twelve participants among Muslims participated in the study, and their data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling. The proposed model had good explanatory power as it was able to explain 68.4% and 59.7% of the variances in green halal purchase intention (R² = 0.684) and consumer trust (R² = 0.597), respectively. Results of this study indicate that Islamic ethics (β = 0.31, p < 0.001), environmental consciousness (β = 0.27, p < 0.001), and social norms (β = 0.22, p < 0.01) positively influenced consumer trust. Moreover, consumer trust significantly and positively impacted green halal purchase intention (β = 0.45, p < 0.001). The mediation analyses reveal that consumer trust partly mediates the effect of Islamic ethical values, environment, and social norms on green halal purchase intention. Out of all the antecedents tested, Islamic ethical values have been found to be the most effective determinant of green halal purchase intention. It can thus be concluded that the purchase intention for green halal products increases significantly if the customers perceive these products as being consistent with Islamic moral standards, sustainable for the environment, and approved by society, especially where the issue of consumer trust is involved. This research has contributed significantly to the extant literature by showing how trust acts as an important bridge between the antecedents of green halal purchase intention and the actual intention to purchase.
Abstract:This research is motivated by the importance of accountability in Islamic banking, which is not only related to administrative responsibility but also encompasses moral and spiritual dimensions. This study aims to understand…
tand the meaning of accountability from a sharia accounting perspective for the managers of Bank Muamalat Ambon. The study used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. The study population was the managers of Bank Muamalat Ambon, while informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique based on experience and involvement in Islamic banking activities. The research instrument was a semi-structured interview guide. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews and analyzed using phenomenological analysis through the stages of transcription, coding, grouping themes, and extracting essential meanings. The results show that sharia accountability is interpreted as a professional, moral, social, and spiritual responsibility manifested through trustworthiness, transparency, sharia compliance, fair service, and supervision. The conclusion of the study confirms that sharia accountability is not only understood as formal reporting, but as an ethical and religious practice carried out in daily work activities.
Abstract:This study examines the role of customer value in mediating the relationship between social media marketing and service quality toward the decision to become a BritAma Prioritas customer at Bank Rakyat Indonesia Sukabumi…
Branch. The key issue addressed in this study is the need to understand how digital marketing communication and priority banking service quality can be converted into meaningful value that influences premium customer decisions. This research employed a quantitative explanatory approach involving 386 BritAma Prioritas customers as respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling. The results show that social media marketing and service quality have positive and significant effects on customer value. Social media marketing, service quality, and customer value also positively and significantly influence customer decision. Customer value was found to be the strongest predictor of customer decision and significantly mediated the effects of both social media marketing and service quality. These findings indicate that customer acquisition in priority banking depends not only on promotional activities and service performance, but also on customers’ holistic value evaluation.
Abstract:The global paradigm shift in waste governance towards a circular economy has driven the adoption of Community-Based Solid Waste Management (CBSWM), widely manifested in Indonesia through the Waste Bank initiative. Although…
gh theoretically designed as an ecological mitigation instrument and a catalyst for economic empowerment, previous literature remains dominated by techno-ecological and urban biases. These studies often overlook the structural dynamics of community empowerment in areas lacking established recycling infrastructure. This study aims to fill this gap by investigating the economic empowerment mechanisms and institutional resilience of the Berseri Waste Bank in Bengkalis Regency, a coastal-island area facing logistical disruption constraints. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving 10 multi-actor informants (government, managers, customers, and community leaders) selected through purposive and snowball sampling. Data were collected via in-depth interviews, observations, and document reviews, with data credibility ensured through source and method triangulation. The results reveal four main findings: (1) increased environmental awareness that reduces open burning practices; (2) increased real household income; (3) the emergence of micro-scale circular logistics practices; and (4) community participation heavily driven by social capital (trust and local leadership). Theoretically, this study extends the application of circular economy theory by proving its viability at the micro-community level in geographically isolated regions. As a practical implication, this study recommends that local governments formally recognize waste banks as legitimate circular economy entities and provide policy interventions in the form of coastal transportation logistics subsidies
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the influence of paid social media advertising and the quality of digital marketing content on the purchase decision of the BuatMudah e-course, both directly and indirectly through customer trust…
st as a mediating variable. The background of this study is based on the decline and fluctuations in BuatMudah e-course sales amidst the growth of the EdTech industry and increasing competition in the educational market for content creators. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. Primary data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 355 BuatMudah e-course customers. The research instrument was designed based on indicators of paid social media advertising, digital marketing content quality, customer trust, and purchase decisions. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and the Sobel test to examine the mediating role. The results show that paid social media advertising has a positive and significant effect on customer trust, with a path coefficient of 0.72 and a calculated t-value of 16.17. The quality of digital marketing content also has a positive and significant effect on customer trust, with a path coefficient of 0.75 and a calculated t-value of 14.41. Furthermore, paid social media advertising had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a path coefficient of 0.25 and a calculated t-value of 4.35. Meanwhile, the quality of digital marketing content had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a path coefficient of 0.14 and a calculated t-value of 2.31. Customer trust was shown to have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a path coefficient of 0.39 and a calculated t-value of 5.03. The Sobel test results indicate that customer trust mediates the effect of paid social media advertising on purchasing decisions and also mediates the effect of digital marketing content quality on purchasing decisions. Thus, purchasing decisions for the BuatMudah e-course are determined not only by advertising effectiveness and content quality, but also by the ability of these two digital marketing stimuli to build customer trust.
Abstract:This study examines service quality and social media marketing activities as determinants of revisit intention, with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable at Flui Restaurant & Cafe Bogor. The research was motivated…
vated by the decline in customer visits despite the restaurant’s strategic location, unique waterfall concept, and active social media promotion. A quantitative explanatory approach was applied using a cross-sectional survey of 400 customers who had visited Flui Restaurant & Cafe Bogor. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with LISREL 8.80. The results show that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction and revisit intention. Social media marketing activities also have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction and revisit intention. Furthermore, customer satisfaction significantly influences revisit intention and partially mediates the relationship between service quality and revisit intention, as well as between social media marketing activities and revisit intention. These findings indicate that increasing revisit intention requires an integrated strategy involving consistent service quality, interactive social media marketing, and customer satisfaction improvement

Abstract:Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) branding has become increasingly important in strengthening stakeholder relationships and corporate legitimacy, particularly in emerging economies characterized by institutional…
l uncertainty and diverse stakeholder expectations. However, limited studies have comparatively examined how ESG branding and communication strategies differ between business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) firms and how these differences affect relationship outcomes. This study aims to analyze the distinctions between B2B and B2C ESG communication strategies in emerging economies and their implications for stakeholder trust, loyalty, and long-term business relationships. This study employed a systematic literature review approach using evidence retrieved from the Elicit database integrating Semantic Scholar and OpenAlex sources. From an initial pool of 1,000 studies, 10 empirical articles published between 2020 and 2026 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed using thematic synthesis. The findings reveal that B2B ESG strategies primarily emphasize governance structures, third-party ESG ratings, and verifiable sustainability metrics to strengthen interorganizational trust and reduce relational risk. In contrast, B2C ESG strategies rely more heavily on emotional storytelling, sustainability narratives, influencer engagement, and digital interaction mechanisms that enhance consumer identification, brand credibility, and loyalty. The study further demonstrates that ESG pillar salience is strongly shaped by institutional and cultural contexts rather than business model orientation alone. This study contributes to ESG and relationship marketing literature by developing a comparative framework explaining how ESG communication strategies shape stakeholder relationships across B2B and B2C environments in emerging economies.
