ng in solving mathematical contextual problems in terms of student independence. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with the subject of students at SMK, Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The collected data is then analyzed through four stages: data reduction, triangulation, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the critical thinking profile of subjects with high levels of learning independence was more complete than subjects with moderate and low levels of learning. Subjects with a high level of learning independence have a critical thinking profile that can use the right strategy to solve problems, complete, and correctly do calculations and explanations.
Abstract:This paper aims to analyze the regulatory framework on arrest and detention in Indonesian Criminal Procedure Code under human rights perspective. This study employed doctrinal legal research using statute and conceptual…
approaches. The findings of this research reveal that the principles of law enforcement and human rights, which include the principles of legality, necessity, and proportionality, are essentially general principles that can be used to determine whether state actions that interfere with citizens' rights and freedoms violate or do not violate human rights. The legal provisions concerning arrest and detention did not fit the human rights standpoint particularly in the context of procedure and the length of detention. The proportionality and the necessity principle have not been fully considered as the ethical basis for arresting the perpetrator of a crime. Hence, what is needed is to amend the Criminal Procedure Code considering the adoption of both necessity and proportionality principle in the arrest and detention.
Abstract:This study aims to find out why women are the dominant victims of domestic violence. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, with a literature study. The result of this study is that the relationship between…
men and women is still unequal, which still considers men to be more than women in all respects so that the wife/woman is only in charge of household matters. The wife's economic dependence on her husband is also one of the triggers for the violence. So that the husband commits violence with the intention that the wife no longer refuses the husband's will, as well as to show masculinity. This oppression is also caused by a subordinate view that is supported by socio-political dynamics rooted in a hierarchical, submissive level and legitimizes violence as a control mechanism. The conclusion of this study is that domestic violence is part of gender-based violence because violence was born as a result of an imbalance in the pattern of power relations between men and women which was then justified by both state law and religious beliefs as a result of interpretation gender-biased religious texts. Building a pattern of relations that is egalitarian and fair and away from the practice of violence in the context of family life is part of both humanitarian and religious duties.

Abstract:This study aims to determine the role of mothers as agents of masculinity enculturation for Nias ethnic boys. This study uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, data collected through participatory observation,…
vation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of Nias ethnic mothers and boys. The results show that the role of mothers as agents of masculinity enculturation in Nias ethnic boys in Tegal Sari Mandala II Village emphasizes the instilling of masculine values through daily care that is appropriate to the context of urban life. Mothers instill the value of courage by accustoming children to dare to speak, appear, and defend the truth, while building strength through emotional control and assertiveness to be able to face pressure, develop resilience through independence, discipline, and adaptability, and teach leadership through responsibility, decision-making, and the application of traditional leadership values such as si'ulu and si'ila. The main challenges faced by mothers include the stubbornness of children, the limited role without a husband figure for single parents, and the negative influence of social media and diverse urban environments. Mothers make various efforts to overcome these obstacles by implementing a firm but loving parenting style, providing motivation when children experience failure, and involving other male family members such as uncles or church members to provide advice. The implementation of traditional Nias ethnic masculinity values is still attempted through oral narratives, the use of digital technology to demonstrate the Fahombo (Stone Jumping) tradition, and the involvement of boys to attend and witness various Nias ethnic traditions in urban areas to maintain their ethnic identity amidst modernity
Abstract:This study aims to examine the application of the High-Low method, Scatterplot, and Least Squares in cost analysis, particularly in separating fixed and variable cost behavior. The research uses a library research approach…
ch by collecting and reviewing literature from textbooks, journals, and official publications related to cost estimation and cost behavior modeling. The findings indicate that the High-Low method is simple because it uses only the highest and lowest activity levels, but its accuracy is limited due to reliance on extreme data points. The Scatterplot method provides a visual representation of the relationship between cost and activity, helping identify patterns and potential outliers; however, its results may vary due to subjective judgment in determining the cost line. Meanwhile, the Least Squares method is considered the most accurate because it utilizes all available data to produce the best-fit regression line, although it requires more complex calculations and statistical understanding. Overall, the selection of the most suitable method depends on the objective of the analysis, data availability, and the level of accuracy required
