Digital Leadership and Organizational Performance: The Mediating Role of Employee Innovation Implementation

Salem Seed Gebreel, Omar, Kwabla Segbefia, Samuel
Abstract: Digital transformation has moved beyond the simple adoption of information technology and has become a fundamental organizational process affecting leadership, employee behavior, innovation, and performance. This study examines… xamines the relationship between digital leadership and organizational performance by investigating employee innovation implementation as an intervening mechanism. Drawing on the Dynamic Capability View, digital leadership is conceptualized as a strategic capability that enables organizations to mobilize technological resources, stimulate employee experimentation, and facilitate the implementation of new ideas. A quantitative research design is proposed using a structured questionnaire administered to employees in digitally transforming organizations. The hypothesized relationships are tested using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The proposed model examines both the direct effect of digital leadership on organizational performance and its indirect effect through employee innovation implementation. The study contributes to digital leadership literature by distinguishing innovation implementation from the broader concept of innovative behavior and by explaining how employee-generated ideas can be translated into organizational value.

Decolonizing Digital Learning in Ghana: Artificial Intelligence, Local Knowledge, and Educational Futures

Pantah, Ayishetu
Abstract: The rapid expansion of digital learning and artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed educational systems worldwide, including in Ghana. However, the integration of digital technologies into education also… so raises critical concerns regarding epistemological inequality, technological dependency, and the marginalization of indigenous knowledge systems. This study aims to critically examine digital learning in Ghana through a decolonial perspective by exploring the relationship between artificial intelligence, local knowledge, and future educational transformation. The study employed a qualitative conceptual approach based on critical literature review and decolonial theoretical analysis. Data sources consisted of scholarly articles, academic books, policy reports, and international publications related to digital learning, AI in education, indigenous knowledge systems, and postcolonial educational transformation. The findings reveal that contemporary digital learning systems frequently reproduce colonial epistemologies through linguistic dominance, curriculum standardization, algorithmic bias, and dependency on externally developed technological infrastructures. Indigenous languages and local knowledge systems remain underrepresented within mainstream educational technologies, limiting epistemic inclusivity and cultural relevance. Nevertheless, the study also identifies the transformative potential of culturally responsive AI, multilingual digital learning environments, and indigenous knowledge integration in constructing more equitable educational futures. The study concludes that decolonizing digital learning in Ghana requires the reconstruction of educational technologies grounded in epistemic justice, cultural dignity, local participation, and technological sovereignty. This article contributes to contemporary discussions on decolonial education, ethical AI, and digital transformation within the Global South by positioning digital learning as both a technological and epistemological arena of struggle.

Implementation of Artificial Intelligence in Financial Crisis Early Warning System

Judijanto, Loso, Rizani, Ahmad, Devita, Hety
Abstract: Financial crisis is a serious threat to economic stability, so an effective early warning system is needed to detect and anticipate potential risks early on. The implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) in financial… l crisis early warning systems offers significant advantages through big data analysis capabilities, non-linear pattern detection, and more accurate and faster risk prediction than conventional methods. Studies have shown that machine learning and deep learning algorithms can improve crisis prediction accuracy, expand the scope of risk monitoring, and support more responsive decision-making by regulators and financial industry players. However, challenges such as data quality, security, model transparency, and human resource readiness still need to be addressed for optimal AI implementation. This study concludes that with good governance, investment in infrastructure and human resources, and adaptive regulations, AI can be a strategic tool in strengthening early warning systems and maintaining financial sector resilience in the digital era.

Impact Analysis of Gig Economy on Traditional Labour Structure

Judijanto, Loso, Caroline, Caroline, Andhiyan Mergining Mei, Nanang
Abstract: The growth of the gig economy in Indonesia has triggered significant transformations in the traditional labour structure. This study aims to analyse the impact of the gig economy on workers' employment patterns, income,… and social protection using a literature review method. The results of the analysis show that the gig economy offers flexibility and new employment opportunities but also increases income uncertainty and widens the social protection gap between gig and traditional workers. In addition, there is a skills disruption that requires increased digital literacy and worker adaptability. This research recommends the need for labour regulation reform, strengthening portable social security systems, and expanding access to digital training so that the gig economy can provide inclusive and sustainable benefits for the entire Indonesian workforce.

Bureaucratic Reform and its Impact on Public Service Transparency

Septo Pramesworo, Ignatius, Akbar, Sidderatul, Yumame, Jackson
Abstract: This study aims to analyse the implementation of bureaucratic reform and its impact on public service transparency in Indonesia. Through a qualitative approach with a literature review, this study found that bureaucratic… reforms carried out through organisational restructuring, simplification of procedures, strengthening human resources, and the use of information technology have encouraged the creation of more open and accountable public services. The digitisation of services and the public complaints system expanded public access to information and increased participation in service oversight. The results show that public service transparency has improved significantly, although challenges remain in terms of apparatus resistance and infrastructure limitations. Thus, bureaucratic reform plays an important role in realising governance that is transparent, efficient and responsive to the needs of society.
