Abstract: Latar belakang : Kanker payudara merupakan penyakit yang kini mulai mengancam usia muda, sehingga deteksi dini melalui Pemeriksaan Payudara Sendiri (SADARI) sangat penting dilakukan sejak usia remaja. Background : Breast cancer is a disease that is now starting to threaten young people, so early detection through Breast Self-Examination (BSE) is crucial from adolescence. BSE is a regular, independent breast examination by women themselves that can identify signs of breast cancer. However, the phenomenon of BSE among adolescent girls with a relatively low understanding, attitude, and practice of BSE is still relatively low. The low practice of BSE is also influenced by minimal breast health education. Ignorance and suboptimal attitudes are the main obstacles to BSE implementation among adolescents. Objectives: To describe and analyze the relationship between knowledge and attitudes with breast self-examination (BSE) behavior in female adolescents at the Ta’ban Islamic Boarding School. Method: methods in this research Using quantitative methods through a cross-sectional approach design. The sample in the study was 110 respondents. Using the Chi-Square test analysis (x2). Results: The majority of respondents were in the middle adolescent category , as many as 55 people (50.0%) and had a final education of elementary school as many as 76 people (69.1%). A total of 47 people ( 42.7 %) had moderate knowledge of BSE, 48 people ( 43.6 %) had a fairly good BSE attitude, and 64 people ( 58.2%) had poor BSE behavior . The results of the Chi-Square test (x2) showed a significant relationship between knowledge ( p = 0.000) and attitude ( p = 0.048) with BSE behavior. Conclusion: Knowledge and attitude have a significant relationship with Breast self-examination (BSE) behavior in female adolescents at the Ta’ban Islamic Boarding School.

Fitri Dwi Nurfadhilah, Siti Rochmani, Ida Faridah
Sebaliknya, remaja yang memiliki pandangan lebih positif dan mampu menerima kondisi fisiknya cenderung memiliki tingkat kecemasan yang lebih rendah dalam menghadapi berbagai situasi sosial Background: Social anxiety is considered a mental health concern that may hinder many adolescents from interacting and adapting to their environment. One factor associated with the emergence of social anxiety is body image, which refers to an individual's perception of their body shape and appearance. However, many adolescents still experience low self-confidence, worry about others' judgments, and tend to avoid social situations. Based on these conditions, further research is needed to examine body image and social anxiety among tenth-grade students at SMKN 9 Kota Tangerang. Methods: This study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. A total of 190 respondents were included, and data were analyzed using the Spearman Rank test. Results: Most respondents were in the middle adolescent period (94.7%) and were female (71.6%). The majority of respondents had a negative body image, accounting for 111 respondents (58.4%), while 75 respondents (39.5%) experienced high levels of social anxiety. The Spearman Rank analysis showed a strong negative correlation (r = -0.728; p = 0.000). Conclusion: Adolescents' perceptions of their physical condition, body shape, and appearance have a strong, inverse, and significant association with the level of anxiety experienced when interacting in social environments. Among tenth-grade students at SMKN 9 Kota Tangerang, increasingly negative perceptions of oneself and one's physical appearance may be associated with greater feelings of worry, low self-confidence, discomfort, and fear of negative evaluation by others. These conditions may cause adolescents to experience greater anxiety when meeting, communicating, and interacting with people in their surroundings. Conversely, adolescents with more positive perceptions and greater acceptance of their physical appearance tend to experience lower levels of anxiety in various social situations.

This shows that 4.4% of academic stress is influenced by perfectionism (maladaptive perfectionism) and self-esteem, 95.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

The Relationship Between Self-Compassion and Body Dissatisfaction Among Psychology Students at Bhayangkara University Jakarta Raya

Gardyanie Hermawan, Liza
Abstract: Feelings of inferiority represent a significant psycho-social issue for individuals, often leading to difficulties in decision-making, hesitancy, a lack of assertiveness, withdrawal, and heightened emotional sensitivity.… These challenges are particularly prevalent among adolescents, who frequently compare themselves to others in their environment. Body dissatisfaction emerges when adolescents compare their actual body to an idealized version and struggle to accept their current appearance. One factor influencing body dissatisfaction is self-compassion, which can either mitigate or exacerbate these feelings. This study aims to investigate the relationship between self-compassion and body dissatisfaction among students of the Faculty of Psychology at Bhayangkara University Jakarta Raya. Using convenience sampling, 100 students participated in the study. The findings indicate a significant negative correlation between self-compassion and body dissatisfaction, with a correlation coefficient of r = -0.803*** and p = 0.000 (p < 0.05).

Putri Amara, Keisha, Bellarosa Yosza, Amearah, Lamria Lisbet Naibaho, Naomi
Abstract: This study aims to determine the relationship between self-compassion and prosocial behavior in late adolescents in DKI Jakarta. The researcher employed a quantitative approach and utilized purposive sampling to select 400… 00 subjects aged 18-21 years who lived in DKI Jakarta. Data were collected using the Prosocial Behavior Scale (PBS) and the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS). The data processing involved hypothesis testing through the Pearson correlation test. The results revealed a significant positive relationship between self-compassion and prosocial behavior, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.107 and a p-value of 0.032, which is less than the significance level of 0.05. These findings suggest that higher levels of self-compassion are associated with greater prosocial behavior in late adolescents in this region. This research highlights the importance of fostering self-compassion as a potential means to enhance prosocial behavior among adolescents. Given the cultural context of DKI Jakarta, where communal values and social harmony are emphasized, self-compassion may play a crucial role in promoting positive social interactions and behaviors. Future studies could further explore the underlying mechanisms of this relationship and consider interventions to cultivate self-compassion in adolescents to support their social development and well-being.
