Analysis of The Effect International Prices, Exchange Rates, Non-Tarif Measures, and Import Volume On The Export Value Of Indonesian Cloves (Hs:0907) To India

Jonathan, Krisna Adi, Oktafia, Renny
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of international prices, the rupiah–rupee exchange rate, non-tariff measures, and India’s import volume on the export value of Indonesian cloves to India. The research utilizes secondary… s secondary data for the period 2015–2024. The analytical method employed is the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to examine both short-run and long-run relationships, complemented by stationarity tests, cointegration tests, ECM estimation, and diagnostic and stability tests. The results show that international prices have a positive and significant effect on Indonesia’s clove export value, consistent with export-supply theory which states that higher global prices increase export incentives. The rupiah–rupee exchange rate displays a positive but insignificant relationship, indicating that exchange rate volatility is not sufficiently strong to influence changes in export value. Non-tariff measures, including SPS and TBT standards, are found to have a significant effect, reflecting the role of regulations in increasing compliance costs while simultaneously enhancing Indian consumer confidence in the quality of Indonesian cloves. India’s import volume also has a significant influence, showing that India’s domestic demand remains a major driver of Indonesia’s export value during the study period. This study is expected to provide insights for policymakers and industry players in strengthening trade strategies, particularly in enhancing the competitiveness of Indonesian clove exports through quality improvements, exchange rate stability, and compliance with non-tariff standards.

Wahyuni, Zalsabillah Cahya, Musa, Chalid Imran, Anwar, Nurman, Rahman, Abdul
Abstract: This study aims to examine the influence of profitability and firm value on stock prices in health sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2024 period. A quantitative approach with a documentation… umentation method was employed in this research. The population consisted of all health sector companies within the specified period, while the sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique based on predetermined criteria, resulting in a total of 15 companies. Data were analyzed using panel data regression through the Economic Views (EViews) 12 software. The findings of this study indicate that, profitability (ROA) has a positive and significant effect on stock prices of health sector companies for the 2020–2024 period. Similarly, firm value (Tobin’s Q) also shows a positive and significant influence on stock prices within the same period

Fundamental Analysis and Stock Valuation for Investment Decisions

Nurman, Tawe, Amiruddin, Iswardhani, Indri, Mattoliang, Ridwan Andi, Husain, Fakhirah
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the fundamental condition and assess the investment feasibility of eleven issuers that consistently appeared in the Sri Kehati Index during the 2020–2024 period. Fundamental analysis was conducted… ucted using the financial ratios TATO, ROE, EPS, CR, DER, and DPR. The results show that UNVR and KLBF demonstrated high efficiency in asset management, while BBCA and BMRI exhibited strong profitability. JSMR had an aggressive capital structure but was supported by adequate liquidity. Meanwhile, UNVR and BBRI stood out for their generous dividend distribution policies. Stock valuation was carried out using two approaches: PER and PBV. Based on PER, nine issuers were classified as undervalued because their intrinsic values exceeded market prices, while two issuers (DSNG and SMGR) were considered overvalued. In contrast, the PBV approach indicated that ten issuers were overvalued, with only DSNG being undervalued. These differing results suggest that PER focuses more on a company’s earnings performance, whereas PBV emphasizes its book value. Therefore, stock investment assessment should be carried out comprehensively by considering more than one valuation method.

The Effect Of Trust And Commitment On Customer Loyalty Of Bprs Botani Bina Rahmah With Customer Satisfaction As a Mediation Variable

Faizin, Ayi Hilman, Yuniningsih, Anwar, Muhadjir
Abstract: This research is motivated by the importance of building and maintaining customer loyalty at the Botani Bina Rahmah Sharia Rural Financing Bank (BPRS), a financial institution that plays a strategic role in strengthening… the sharia-based economy and promoting financial inclusion at the micro level. The phenomenon of increasing account openings without a corresponding increase in customer retention indicates challenges in managing long-term relationships with customers. Trust and commitment are believed to be important factors in creating loyalty, but the effectiveness of both is often influenced by the level of customer satisfaction. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze satisfaction as a mediating variable in the relationship between trust and commitment and customer loyalty. This study aims to analyze: (1) the effect of trust on customer loyalty, (2) the effect of commitment on customer loyalty, (3) the effect of trust on loyalty through customer satisfaction as a mediating variable, and (4) the effect of commitment on loyalty through customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. The research approach used is quantitative with a cross-sectional design. Data were collected by distributing Likert-scale questionnaires to 100 active customer respondents of BPRS Botani Bina Rahmah. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM–PLS) with the help of SmartPLS software to test the validity and reliability of constructs and the relationships between variables in the structural model. The results of the study indicate that trust has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, while commitment does not have a significant direct effect on loyalty. Customer satisfaction is proven to act as a significant mediating variable in the relationship between trust and loyalty, as well as between commitment and loyalty. These findings confirm that BPRS customer loyalty is more influenced by the level of trust and satisfaction built through service quality and conformity to Sharia values. Practically, BPRS management needs to strengthen contract transparency, improve service consistency, and optimize digital channels to strengthen trust, increase satisfaction, and ultimately encourage sustainable customer loyalty.

The Role of Financial Performance in The Relationship Between Human Resource Accounting Disclosure and Company Value

Noviani, Siti Alya, Sundari, Siti, Haryati, Tantina
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of Human Resource Accounting (HRAC) disclosure on firm value, with financial performance as a mediating variable. This quantitative study uses secondary data in the form of annual reports… ports and sustainability reports from 14 companies during the 2020–2024 period, with a total of 70 observations. HRAC disclosure is measured using the Human Resource Disclosure Index through a content analysis approach. Firm value is proxied by Net Asset Value (NAV) transformed into the natural logarithm, while financial performance is measured using ROA. Data analysis was performed using path analysis with SPSS software, and the Sobel test to examine the role of financial performance as a mediating variable. The results show that HRAC disclosure affects firm financial performance, but does not directly affect firm value. Financial performance is proven to affect firm value in a negative direction. The results of the Sobel test indicate that financial performance plays a significant role as a mediating variable in the relationship between HRAC disclosure and firm value. These findings indicate that HRAC disclosure affects firm value indirectly through financial performance. ASDM disclosure functions as supporting information and additional signals for investors, but is not yet able to become the main determinant in the direct formation of company value.

The Influence of Free Shipping and Online Customer Reviews on the Shopee Platform on Purchasing Decisions of Students of the Faculty of Economics, Nias University

Zebua, Reyan Janefata, Telaumbanua, Aferiaman, Kakisina, Sophia Molinda, Zebua, Serniati
Abstract: This study investigates the role of acquisition premiums in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and their impact on shareholder wealth, focusing on five major Indian deals in pharmaceuticals, retail, banking, steel, and renewable… able energy sectors. Potential synergies often justify acquisition premiums ranging from approximately 15% to 40% above target companies’ market values. However, market responses suggest that such premiums may not consistently result in value creation for acquiring firms' shareholders. Empirical findings reveal mixed outcomes: Sun Pharma’s acquisition of Ranbaxy led to a 9.8% share price increase within five days, while Tata Steel’s high-premium acquisition of Bhushan Steel saw only a 1.7% gain. In contrast, deals like Reliance–Future Retail and Tata Power–Welspun Power showed minimal or negative returns, despite sizable premiums. These patterns indicate that premium size alone is not a reliable predictor of post-deal shareholder wealth creation. The study concludes that M&A success depends more on strategic fit, market timing, and sectoral dynamics than on the premium offered. This analysis contributes to the broader M&A discourse by offering evidence-based insights into how premium valuations can either maximise or dilute shareholder value, aiding investors, corporate strategists, and policy analysts in deal assessment.

Understanding Accounting Practices in Culinary MSMEs In The Tanjung Bunga Metro Area, Makassar City

Saleh, Andi Mulia, Alimuddin, Said, Darwis
Abstract: The focus of research shifts from the dominance of positivism to a non-positivistic approach that places meaning, interpretation, and social construction at the center of analysis. One of the main approaches within this… paradigm is Grounded Theory Research (GTR), a qualitative method developed by Glaser and Strauss (1967) to build empirically data-based theory through a rigorous inductive process. In the accounting context, GTR becomes increasingly relevant because reporting practices, accountability, and financial decision-making cannot be understood solely through objective measurements, but rather through social interactions, organizational values, and the interpretations of the actors involved (Ahrens & Chapman, 2006). This article aims to examine the role and relevance of GTR in modern accounting research by highlighting its philosophical foundations, methodological procedures, and contributions to the development of practice-based accounting theory. Through a systematic literature review, it is found that GTR has the ability to uncover the social dynamics that shape accounting practices such as accountability, ethics, managerial control, and institutional legitimacy that have previously been overlooked by positivistic approaches (Charmaz, 2006; Bryant & Charmaz, 2007). GTR has also proven relevant in the context of changing reporting systems, accounting digitalization, and the integration of sustainability principles such as ESG, where meaning, professional identity, and interpretive processes are dominant elements (Adams & Larrinaga, 2019). The study's findings confirm that GTR not only offers a systematic method for data collection and analysis, but also provides a more reflective, context-sensitive epistemological framework capable of generating substantive theory that is truly rooted in organizational reality. Thus, GTR is a powerful methodological alternative in enriching accounting knowledge, while providing a deeper understanding of how accounting practices are executed, negotiated, and interpreted in everyday organizational life.

The Effect of Working Capital Management on The Growth of Savings and Loan Business in The Osseda Faolala Women's Consumer Cooperative Nias

Gulo, Foster Herwin, Zebua, Dedi Irawan, Zebua, Serniati, Telaumbanua, Aferiaman, Telaumbanua, Aferiaman
Abstract: This study analyzes the financial condition of the Osseda Faolala Perempuan Nias Consumer Cooperative during the period January 2021–December 2024, focusing on the management of current assets, short-term liabilities, and… and the repayment rate of member loans. Data were processed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression to assess the cooperative's financial balance and factors influencing business growth. The classical assumption test showed that the regression model met the feasibility criteria, both in terms of normality and autocorrelation, thus the analysis results were reliable. The t-test results proved that working capital had a positive and significant effect on cooperative business growth with a significance value <0.05. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.887) confirmed that 88.7% of the variation in business growth was explained by working capital management. This means that the more optimal the management of working capital—including current assets, short-term liabilities, and member loans—the higher the cooperative's chances of growth and development. In addition to strengthening the existing literature, this study is consistent with the findings of Winata et al. (2023) on manufacturing companies and Herawati (2023) on savings and loan cooperatives, both demonstrated the importance of working capital management to financial performance. However, these results differ from the research of Rezki Erdian et al. (2022) on the retail sector, which found that receivables had no significant effect on profitability. This difference indicates that the relevance of working capital is highly dependent on the institutional context. Overall, this study confirms that optimal working capital management is not merely an administrative issue, but a strategic factor determining cooperative business growth and improving welfare. member.

Based on the data analysis, it shows that simultaneously the Raw Material Inventory Management variable has a positive and significant effect on Work Productivity with a significance of 0.000 <0.05 and the T-value obtained is 6.877> 1.696 so that it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and has an effect on the dependent variable of Work Productivity (Y). The conclusion of this study is that the Raw Material Inventory Management variable partially or simultaneously has an effect on Work Productivity and it is recommended that PT. KSS (Karunia Sejahtera Sejati) provide increased competency and understanding of employees regarding inventory management that is very necessary so that they are able to carry out their tasks more efficiently and effectively, so that work productivity increases. Periodic training and socialization regarding inventory management and its relationship to work productivity must continue to be carried out.

Implications of Digitalization on Governance at Islamic People's Bank

Yulianti, Neneng Ina, Yuhertiana, Indrawati, Sundari , Siti
Abstract: Digital transformation at Islamic Rural Banks demands governance that is accountable, secure, and aligned with sharia principles. This study aims to map digital governance practices and formulate prerequisites for safe,… compliant, and value-oriented implementation. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach and adopting an active participatory method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, document reviews, and observations with purposive sampling (management, DPS, IT/cybersecurity units, and customers). The analysis refers to the Miles & Huberman model (data reduction–data presentation–conclusion drawing); validity is maintained through source triangulation, member checking, and audit trails. The findings consolidate five key domains: (1) the role of DPS in digital decisions and ongoing supervision, (2) human resource capabilities and risk culture, (3) IT & cybersecurity architecture (data protection, incident response, business continuity), (4) risk management–compliance (synchronization of OJK–DSN–MUI guidelines), and (5) digital customer literacy and experience. The theoretical contribution integrates the Institutional, Accountability, and TAM/UTAUT perspectives to explain the drivers and barriers to adoption. Practically, a risk-based digital governance roadmap is developed that prioritizes cybersecurity governance, strengthening the role of the DPS through digital oversight, and data governance policies.
